Wonderful rural stay
We absolutely loved the house and the property. It was so fun seeing the bison graze and sitting by the fire pit under the stars. The house has a rustic feel, but very comfortable, well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Family Reunion
We loved the Bison Ranch. It was a wonderful place to gather with family throughout the week and a central place for us to visit neighboring towns. My Mom grew up in Carrington and it was a great to see her enjoy her time there.

We are a third-generation family farm & ranch which has operated on this slice of heaven for over 90 years. With more than 30 years experience in the bison business and over 20 years as hunting outfitters, the Krapp Family constructed the Bison Ranch Lodge in 2020 in order to better serve our loyal customers who visit from far and wide to fill their freezers with delicious bison meat.

Why they chose this property

Our 5-bedroom, 3-1/2 bathroom rustic lodge is situated at the foothills of the Missouri Coteau near Pingree, North Dakota - where the midwestern farm fields meet the rolling native hills of the western prairie. A place the bison roam.

The Lodge is a testament to the land upon which it sits, utilizing reclaimed materials such as barn wood, steel, rock, repurposed fixtures, and numerous other items acquired from both the home property and other area farms and ranches. You wont find another like it!

This unique setting lies in the heart of plentiful outdoor experiences including hunting, fishing, bird watching, and simply taking in the serenity of the open prairie.
