Very nice location.

Very nice house. Great surroundings. Arromanches is very beautiful and to stay in this house is very nice. Bakery, a little supermarket, town and the sea very close.

Great property , located up the hill from the town within easy walking distance . Clean accommodation and a lovely property, ideal for our base for travelling to Bayeux , Caen, etc. Christophe very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Facilities were good and made for for a relaxing evening after a busy exploring day.

Great property for a family to stay in together. Plenty of space, well furnished and great views of the sea. Enjoyed seeing the cows behind the property too. Convenient for walking into Arromanches.

Amazing house at an amazing location

Our stay was great. The house was even bigger than expected, nice bedrooms for everybody in our group of 7, great long dinnertable, a perfect accomidation for a bigger group or family. With enough bad- and bathrooms too. And perfectly clean and well equipped. Location near the landing beaches and easy walk to the beach in arromanches and the stores and bakery. It was everything we were looking for.

Great Stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and its been wonderful each time. The house is very clean, spacious and equipped with modern appliances. The views from the house are fantastic, the city of Arromanches and the English Channel to the north and a pasture with grazing cows to the east. We took most of our meals on the picnic table outside the kitchen. All in all it was a wonderful stay and a great jumping off place for visit to the D-Day beaches and Normandy.

The property owner did a good job responding to my queries. Unfortunately, I would have to rate this as a sub-par stay. Not enough towels were available and quality was substandard. Little things like kleenex not provided were bothersome. Possibly some mold present in bathrooms. Glass ware appeared stained and dishes required washing before we felt comfortable using. On the plus side the location was great for what we wanted.

D Day Bond Beach

The town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing. We learned about the history of the town thru locals. Their part in D Day was new to me. It was easy to find the house the Taxi brought us right there. There was a lock box and we had the code so entry was easy. The house was not as clean as what I like. The utensils and coffee maker were not clean but we used them. There were limited towels left and I managed to find additional ones in the basement again they were not that clean. We had a major issue with the power and it was out for the whole day. I had left a text for the Property Manager but did not hear from him. I called when we got back at night and the house was in total darkness and a security alarm was going off. The person that I talked to was unaware of the issue we were having. She spoke English and was major in calling someone who came and reset the fuses and managed after awhile to get the alarm silenced. The one major asset was the ocean view that came with the Cottage and as I already mentioned the town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing and exploring it was an added adventure for our trip.

Jolie villa très bien située

Excellent séjour dans cette villa très bien agencée et équipée Vues magnifiques sur la mer et le bocage comme précisé dans l'annonce Villa très propre, les lits sont faits à l'arrivée... Je recommande vivement !

Wir waren zum 2. Mal in der geräumigen , sehr gut ausgestatteten Villa-Stella mit großem Garten, ruhig gelegen, Blick auf das Meer, (10 Minuten zu Fuß). Absolut empfehlenswert.

Superbe séjour

Avons passés un très agréable sejour et le beau temps était de la partie. Le fait d'etre à 15 minutes à pied de la plage est super agréable. Maison confortable, très bien équipée... Propriétaire réactif et agréable. Merci beaucoup !!!

Absolut zu empfehlen

Ein geräumiges, komfortables Haus mit großem Garten in ländlicher Umgebung und doch nah am Meer ( 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Vom Haus Meerblick. Gut ausgestattete und bestückte Küche und bequem eingerichtete Wohnung mit mehreren TV-Geräten. Großes Wohnzimmer mit Esstisch und Sofalandschaft. Schlaf- und Badezimmer ok. Terrasse mit Gartenumgebung. Unsere Familie ( 3 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder 9 - 15 Jahre) haben den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus sehr genossen - absolut zu empfehlen! Zu erwähnen ist noch die geschichtsträchtige Umgebung (Arromanches, Bayeux, Caen...)

Sejour agreable

Sejour agréable dans cette maison assez recente, propre et avec petite terrasse pour les repas. A 5 min de la plage et des commerces. Le salon/sejour/cuisine est spacieux avec une grande table. Peut etre que l'annonce sur abritel pourrait etre mise a jour car : la chambre avec les lits superposés contient seulement un lit simple en non 2 lits simples comme le mentionnait l'annonce, la 4e chambre avec lit double se situe au ss sol avec passage par le studio. Ce n'est pas hyper derangeant mais ce n'est pas ce que nous avions envisagé dans la distribution des couchages.

Un week-end en famille

Villa vaste, très bien équipée impeccable pour un séjour en famille. Le lieu est calme, avec vue sur la mer et la belle campagne normande. Très bien située pour visiter les plages du débarquement et ses nombreux musées. L’hôte donne toutes les informations indispensables pour le séjour et reste joignable en cas de nécessité. Nous avons passé un excellent Week-end et nous recommandons chaudement la Villa de Christophe

Bring your own soap, toilet paper or be prepared to buy them at the local market. (Owner made aware and states will be rectified) Walkway to the house was overgrown as shown in photos 25 &27 on listing. Beds we not very comfortable, thin mattress on frame.

Sehr schön gelegenes Ferienhaus mit allen was man benötigt. Die Lage ist super.

Hat alles soweit gut gepasst. Wir konnten unseren Urlaub voll genießen. Es wäre nur schön gewesen wenn das mit der Mülltonne Bzw Mülltrennung besser beschrieben gewesen wäre, da wir vorher noch nie in Frankreich waren. Aber sonst war alle super und wir würden das Objekt sofort wieder mieten.
