About this property

Villa with stunning views - CHEF, Housekeeper services.

Mango Point is nestled on a lush tropical hillside facing the Caribbean Sea and the famous Pitons: twin titanic peaks, soaring to a height of 2900 feet above the cobalt sea. Lovely beach is 15-minute walk downhill.

Red roofs, thick stone island walls and graceful archways set the tone for a colonial house.
Villa is not air conditioned as at 300 feet above sea level, constant breezes cool the house. It has 4500 square feet under cathedral ceilings graced by hand carved beams and ceiling fans.
Separate wings for sleeping, dining, cooking and leisure are wrapped around a courtyard shaded by fragrant jasmine vines.
Entering the house into the living room you are irresistibly attracted by the large arched doors framed by bougainvilleas, few steps down the swimming pool follows the line of the cliff, the view is breathtakingly magnificent as it sweeps across the Soufriere Bay, sea, and mountains.
Rental fee includes an excellent chef and a housekeeper daily services. The staff will shop for the guests provided the cost is given by the guests for each shopping trip.

Just off the living area, five steps down suspended at the edge of the hillside, a large infinity swimming pool faces the majestic Pitons. Large decks with sun chairs are sheltered by a cabana.
The dining room and living room are really comfortable and elegant. Imported Ralph Lauren furniture includes sofas, large rugs, toile curtains, art, and a hammock. Candlelight or al fresco dining can be arranged.
The sleeping area has more a West Indian flair with four poster beds and gauze netting, contributing to a romantic feeling.
Two of the master bedrooms have colonial king size mahogany beds. A few steps down in the garden is the third master suite, Creole-style, with a queen size, ironwork four poster bed. This room enjoys magnificent views from its deck. All oversized, these bedrooms have large closets, a safety box, ceiling fans, and quality linen. A cot bed is also available in one of the master bedrooms. Spacious bathrooms en suite have three walls, with showers and separate toilets.
The fourth bedroom, with twin beds and adjacent bathroom can accommodate two more guests. It is not as spacious and nice as the other suites.
Originally, it was a service room, near by the laundry room and kitchen area.
The large kitchen is Mexican tiled and is well-equipped with a microwave, two fridges, one freezer, a toaster, blender, barbecue grill, and an adjacent laundry room with a washing machine.
Our dedicated staff really adds to the pleasure of staying at Mango Point. Pamela our housekeeper is an excellent cook and will surprise you, she knows too how to mix drinks. Jacqueline, the housemaid keeps the house orderly, prepares breakfast and light lunch and does the house laundry. Both are warm and reliable persons and will do their best to make your stay a memorable one.
Much care has gone into quality, comfort, art, and details which add to the charm and pleasure of your stay at Mango Point and makes it so special to our returning guests.
A VCR, stereo, books, tapes, and CDs are available during your stay.
Included in the rates are the daily services of an excellent cook, a maid and a gardener. Food and beverages are not included in the price. Staff is mandatory.

Baby sitter and massage services are available upon request.

We had an incredible stay and enjoyed the stunning views of the Pitons from the infinity pool. The home cooked meals by Pamela and Jacqueline were incredible and Jones was a phenomenal driver. We highly recommend this property.

Best view in St Lucia
We loved our stay and could not get over how friendly everyone in Saint Lucia was. Truly, the best view on the entire island. Something to be mindful of, the open air style of the property (which we loved) and the road off the main road to get there is pretty rough/gnarly but we are the adventurous type. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. The food was great and the team they have is awesome. I would definitely go back.

Fantastic Villa!
Absolutely wonderful rental! Pool and living room with amazing Pitons views. Pretty clear from all the photos that it’s top notch. We felt uncertain about having “staff” but OMG, they were all so great and friendly! Pamela is a treasure. Just eat at home most dinners and breakfasts, really. Her creole chicken (or fish) is great along with grilled tuna, the cheese soufflé, all her soups, desserts, really-everything-so much better and easier than eating out. Do try the food shack at Anse Mamin (fish burger and drumsticks!) for lunch. And Jacqueline will be preparing your delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, bacon, French toast- whatever you love! Augustine tends the beautiful landscape. And don’t rent a car-use Jones as an experienced driver on the pothole and narrow roads. We had the best vacation ever with our grown kids here!

We loved being here. A delight to open the old wooden doors onto the amazing view of the Caribbean - and the Pitons of course The staff were all friendly and helpful and willing to answer questions and provide useful local information. Pamela's recipes were always fantastic and her Pina Colada a treat and Emannuel does a wonderful job with the grounds and gardens.

Breathtaking Views!!
I recently stayed at this incredible home in St Lucia, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. The property is truly unique with the open air concept. You feel like you are on top of the world with the most amazing views of the two Pitons. What truly stood out was the breathtaking views. Whether it was sipping coffee during sunrise or relaxing with a glass of wine in the pool at sunset, the scenery felt like something out of a postcard. Truly a view of nature's masterpiece. Pamela and Jacquelyn (the two chefs) were absolutely outstanding. We were so excited to see each day what they would prepare for us. We all tried to pick one meal that stood out but we agreed that from breakfast to dinner it was all truly outstanding. What a treat to have them. Our rooms were always cleaned and the gardener made sure the pool was pristine for our daily swims. We used Jones for all of our transportation needs and I would not use anyone else or attempt those roads by yourself. Jones is a very talented driver who shared with us that he can drive up those steeps roads with his eyes closed because of living his whole life on the Island. Make sure to read carefully the description of the property. There are no screens on the windows or doors. It is an open house which leads to its uniqueness but also leads to a lot of bugs. We were prepared for this but it was also challenging at some times to handle the mosquitos.

Great view, great house, great staff!
Wow, what a view! You can sit by the pool for hours and just watch the cruise ships or sail boats passing the Pitons. The staff was top notch and Pamela is a great cook. We had fish most nights and it was all spectacular. Would definitely go back.

Mango Point is Magical!
For our crew, this was a true vacation. We showed up at the airport and had Jones meet us outside. He took us to Mango Point and dropped us off where we were greeted by Pamela who went over everything in the house. After that, the vacation was very smooth sailing. The Mango Point staff made the experience the best it could possibly be. The view from the house is incredible too. It never got old.

Awesome view
Easy to book and communicate with owners. All details given are accurate and on point. Jacklyn and Inman were awesome chefs and source of island information. Their cooking was better than anything else we ate on the island! Trek down to beach was all downhill so harder climbing back up it. Beautiful views of the pitons. Although we had fans, mosquitoe repellent and mosquitoe nets, the weather was still pretty hot and humid and we got bit. Still enjoyed our stay!

Great week at Mango Point
What can we say except we had an awesome week at Mango Point! Francine you have a lovely home and awesome staff. Pamela cooked us some incredible dinners and took care of any special requests we had. Felicia and Theresa prepared delicious breakfasts and lunch as well and they all made us feel right at home. Jones was a great go to guy, to get us wherever we needed to go. Anse Chastanet beach was a great place to snorkel on an almost daily basis. We also had a great time enjoying the great sunsets poolside every evening at cocktail hour.

Beautiful part of the world
The view from the Mango point home is nothing short of spectacular. It’s as if your looking at a life sized post card all day long. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They are welcoming and will make sure to help with any needs you may have during your stay. Driving can be a challenge on the island but with Jones at the wheel I felt very comfortable. Pamela made a wonderful coconut cake during our stay and she and Jacquelyn make a great team with the many fantastic meals they prepared during our time at the house. We used the salt water pool every day. Augustine kept this and the grounds in perfect shape. This location on the island is great and I would highly recommend a stay at Mango point.

VIP Experience
If you are coming to Soufriere, you must stay at Mango Point for the entire VIP experience. The villa is breathtaking and comes with all amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable. We were concerned with bugs and heat, but didn’t experience many bugs and the fans in the rooms and the tradewinds helped with the heat at night. We had three couples in our party and all bedrooms and en suite bathrooms had the perfect arrangement to accommodate our party comfortably. I cannot say enough about the staff at the villa…Pamela, Jacqueline, Augustin and Jones. The hospitality they provided took our experience to the next level. You MUST have Pamela and Jacqueline prepare your meals because their food was better than any that we had on the island. The grounds and pool were maintained beautifully by Augustin. We used Jones as our personal driver for the entire trip and couldn’t have asked for better service from him. He was much more than our driver though. He helped educate us about the island and culture and even navigated us through the grocery stores and our other adventures. THANK YOU to the entire team and villa owner for making this experience first class.

Fantastic view & lovely property
We came to St. Lucia to go scuba diving and Mango Point is only about a mile away from Scuba St. Lucia at the Anse Castanet resort. It has the best views of the Pitons, as you can see by the pictures. We appreciated the flexibility of working with the house staff's schedules so we could have some alone time when we wanted it (mornings and a day to ourselves at the house). Pamela's cooking was fantastic and I recommend her key lime pie - best I've had! You do hear noise/music come up from the houses down the hill, but it's unrealistic to think it'll be quiet 100% of the time. At night it was okay, but I suggest bringing ear plugs because you'll want the windows open all the time (no A/C).

Paradise
The views! We are a family of four with a 16 and 17 year old. We walked down the hill to the ocean and went snorkeling right from the beach. Walk a little further to Anse Mamin Beach, eat at the burger joint! Be sure to have Jones drive you! He was our airport transportation. He brought us to the grocery store where we also used the ATM machine. Paying him for his time for each ride. Pamela is so sweet and the food she cooked was absolutely wonderful. The jerk chicken was delicious. The key lime pie was a perfect ending to that dinner. She would check with us daily on what we may want for dinner the next day. Then she would go to the store and give us the receipt so we could reimburse her for the groceries. Jacqueline cooked us wonderful breakfasts from banana pancakes to any egg style requested. A different freshly squeezed juice daily. Augustin was there to keep the pool clean and keep the grounds. A few things to note: bring bug spray. The bugs didn't bother me and my husband but they seemed to like the kids. We used Jones to go to the sulfur baths and two different waterfalls. There were two excursions we booked online prior to getting to the island. We did ziplining at Treetop Adventure Park and a private snorkel tour with Mysticman Tours in Soufriere. I would recommend each! At the end of your trip you will want to tip each person more than you originally planned because you will be blown away by this Villa staff!! Pamela Jacqueline and Augustin WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!

Fantastic
Mango point has the most amazing views of the pitons and sea, the villa is fully equipped with nice bedrooms, a lovely large pool, showers, kitchen, Dvd etc...the villa has a lovely lounge area which is very large and the views in the morning and sunset are just picture perfect..the beach is a 15 min walk...the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and Pamela, felicia and see will see to your meals which are very nice, Emmanuel the housekeeper is wonderful arriving early morning...mr Jones the taxi driver wil take you everywhere you need and we would recommend you do not hire a car but book mr jones. I say this because the road to the villa is rough and little close to the edge for my liking and I'm a experience driver. Anse chase net beach is beautiful and we recommend you hire a boat to go to Castries, marigot bay and dolphin, whale watching.we thoroughly enjoyed and stay here..

Most Beautiful view in St. Lucia
Mango Point is a beautiful home and a fantastic place to stay. Our group of six adults were so comfortable there and loved relaxing in the living room with it's open arched doors looking out to the sea or sitting by the pool watching the sail boats, yachts and sunsets--doing both while experiencing the best view of the Pitons in St. Lucia. In addition to the wonderful home and setting, the staff is incredible! Pamela was not only fun to be around, but a wonderful cook and prepared us beautiful dinners every night. Felicia and Theresa took care of us during the day by preparing wonderful breakfasts and cleaning up after us. Jones was a delight and drove us anywhere we wanted to go. We also loved the Anse Chastanet beach which is within walking distance. It has the best snorkeling in St. Lucia. None of us thought that we could ever top this wonderful experience! Thank you Francine for being such a pleasure to work with and for providing such a beautiful home and wonderful staff--making our trip to St. Lucia truly special. Janice and Tom R.

Spring Break Paradise
We’d been dreaming of renting this property for almost 9 years and it was everything we thought it would be. The location and views were outstanding. I’d say arguably one of the best views on the island. Sunset view off of the family room looking out towards the cottage/treehouse room was amazing. The staff was fantastic and catered to us all week. We were a multi-generational group. We brought both my parents and teenage daughters for Spring Break. Everyone enjoyed the experience! Food made for us daily was delicious. We ate dinner out twice and lunch out twice. Other than that they cooked us every meal. My husband and I loved running/hiking down to the beaches and trails at Anse Chastanet every morning. One thing to note is all beaches in St. Lucia are public. Anse cannot tell you where you can be on the beach, etc. So enjoy and explore away! Snorkeling is excellent. If you go to the right when you arrive and continue to go to the right another 1/4 mile or so there’s a quieter gorgeous beach. One thing to note is that anyone with physical limitations would have a tough time on the hill down to the beach. My parents weren’t able to do that so we had to have Jones drives us down every time. A little bit of a an extra cost and a little more planning. Truly a phenomenal experience. My husband and I plan to come back by ourselves or with other couples at some point. And several of our friends are looking to book now as well because of our amazing stay.

True St Lucia experience
Spent the first week of January, 2012 here for my 60th birthday with my wife and seven other adult friends, and it was everything you could want. We visited Jade Mountain nearby where the cheapest room is $1200 per night, and the views are no better than from here. In fact, this is the view on most vacation promos of the island. The pictures posted are not only accurate, but can't fully capture the view which is so mesmerizing you will not want to leave the property. I am a foodie and had planned various dinner excursions, which, except for Ladera, which is 15 minutes away by car, as is Jalouisie, we never took one. The cook, Pamela, and the rest of the staff make the stay here. One disadvantage of renting a home is you do your own cooking and cleaning, but here you have a great cook, two maids and a gardener who made the beds, changed the sheets and towels and kept everything tidy. Best of all, Pamela is as good a cook as there is on the island. My birthday dinner at Ladera was with few exceptions, no better than Pamela's cooking and much more expensive. We spent about $40 per day per person on food, and that was for three full meals a day, and included wine, beer and liquor. You can have Pamela shop for you or you can go to the store yourself which is fun and part of the adventure. Rent a car and explore, and don't be alarmed by the roads. The surface, which is rough leading to Mango Point, is there for a reason, to give you traction when it rains. If you want an American style home or condo look elsewhere. If you want a true island experience and to enjoy the culture and people, this is the place. Tip: Pamela's lobster dinner, key lime pie and cheese soufflé are to die for! The evening Catamaran sail on the wharf in Soufriere was wonderful.
