When you enter this unit there is a sleeping area with a king bed, TV and dresser. You then pass through the kitchen to another sleeping area with a queen bed, table and chairs, TV and night stands. This unit has a balcony with 2 chairs and great view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This property is located in a very popular area of Panama City Beach just minutes from Pier Park shopping and entertainment complex, Frank Brown Sports and Aquatic Center, Walmart, City Pier and Gulf World Marine Park. The property has a pool, hot tub, tiki hut, charcoal grills but sorry no elevators. In the unit you will find dishes, silverware, glasses and a single set of towels and bed linens. There is a guest coin operated laundry room on the property. This unit is what we call "basic beach" i,e. a clean comfortable beach front property without the high price.

The location to the beach was wonderful as were the views. However, the beds were absolutely horrible. The king size bed was like a slab of concrete and the queen size bed was so soft and sunk in on one side it was hard to not roll off. The frame was also broken so the loud the squeaking every time you moved was quite annoying. The AC unit by the queen bed was leaking when we arrived as there was a puddle of water on the floor- we had to put a pan underneath to catch the drip and it had to be dumped every few hours or the water was everywhere. There is one large burner on the stove and it didn't work-but the 3 small ones did so that was okay. It definitely could use some updating- The worst part was the beds. We did let the owner know of these issues, so maybe they will get fixed. We never received a response back though.

We've stayed in this room be 4. The only thing I see a negative is the comfort of the beds. One is very firm and 1 is way too soft.

It was ok...
We have stayed at The Ambassador many times in the past but just not with this property owner. I booked this either at the end of february or beginning of march. Im very particular about when i book something i go ahead and reach out to managment to make sure everything looks good on their end but there was no way to contact the owner. I messaged through vrbo and even sent him an email but no response. I finally received a phone call to confirm the first part of my payment in late april. I was told if i had any questions to feel free to call/text. I did and didnt get a response. The listing says basic beach but even though that is the case it should still be upgraded a little bit. We slept in the queen size bed bc it was much more comfortable than the king. I did notice however there was sand in the sheets. That was concerning but i overlooked it. I like to be able to cook breakfast when im staying for a week somewhere. There were plenty of pots but not a single pan to cook with except for one that could cook 2 eggs. We went out to buy a pan. Also the shower head and knobs were very off centered and the removeable hair trap in the bathroom sink looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. The bathroom also had a very distinct mildew smell. For the price we paid for "beach basic" i could have stayed in the unit we normally stay in that actually had the kitchen supplies i needed and looked and seemed cleaner than this one... but it was booked up.

Overall good experience
The property manager was very nice we had an issue with one of our televisions and he came right away and fixed it the room was clean. The bed in the front room was very very hard but other than that it was a great experience

Exactly what we needed
This place brought me back my beach condo days in the 80's. The view from the balcony was perfect. The beds were super comfy. Even though it is outdated and repairs (from the hurricane I am sure) are a bit rough we were very pleased. If you are looking for luxury this is not it, but if you are needing beach basic this is your place!! Great hot tub and pool and the beach is literally I'm your back yard. We had a busy weekend planned and we just needed a clean comfortable place to shower and sleep. I'm sure the next swim meet my son has at PCB we will be staying here again.

The view is right at your fingertips
The rooms were clean . Beds were comfortable. Location is great! Furniture was beach. The down side was it needed updating and wall repair and ceiling. . Better kitchen supplies ! And definitely more than 3 Bath towels . I went out and bought my own! There were nice grills on the premise which we used . Pool is clean and clear . Friendly people working there!

Good stay
The property is older, but clean. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking over the ocean. The kitchen is small but we were flexible and made it work. For our family of four we moved the 2 seater table so we could also sit at the couch. The description says beach basic and that is what it is. An affordable stay on the beach.

This unit is right on the beach. It has a very nice view of the ocean and the pool from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable. This was ideal for our extended weekend stay.
