** As of May 1st, all renters must purchase a $10-day pass via credit card at Ranch Hall to use the facilities. All children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full-benefit member's home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with the address of the home will work as proof.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Very convenient. Get the codes Ahead of time period

You could not be closer to the slopes. It was so convenient. There were too many codes to get into the building in the door that were hard to remember, and we weren’t given them in advance. Make sure you get the codes before you go.

Wonderful place. Very reasonably priced

This is a wonderful condo. It was clean with nice amenities. The building is right next to the ski lodge and Quickdraw Express chairlift. It doesn't get much better. There is an indoor lounge area with a fireplace as well as an outdoor seating area with a gas fire pit and a couple of bbq grills facing the ski lift. The condo's deck faces away from the ski area, so it is nice and quiet with nice views to the North, up towards the town of Granby and Rocky Mountain National park. Master bathroom is huge as is the walk in closet. The underground parking is nice with 7ft, 10in clearance. Big enough for a full size, long bed 2500 4x4 pickup. Granby Ranch is a great smaller ski area that reminds me of the ski areas of my childhood. There is only 1000ft of vertical, but they make good use of it with a nice selection of terrain. While Granby is more focused on beginner and intermediate terrain, more accomplished skiers will find some more challenging runs and trees off of the Conquest list. There is just enough facilities there to make Granby, just right nice. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

Great Experience

Our family of four loved this property. It was easy to check in and the ski in/out experience was awesome. Our 2 br condo had everything we needed and was stocked with plenty of linens. Thanks again for letting us stay.

Nice condo in great location

Overall we had a great stay. Property was perfect for what we were looking for, slopeside at the base of Granby. The access codes we got were outdated and required contacting the property manager, and a few maintenance issues that need addressed, otherwise would be 5 star. Vacasa contact line was always responsive and got us into the condo within 30 minutes. I would stay here again.

Does not come with shared hot tub/pool

The shared hot tub and pool required $10/per person. That was not clear in the listing. Check in they gave me the wrong code and took a bit to actually get into the unit. The unit was not clean, looked like beds were just made without being cleaned.

Louisiana to Colorado

We visit Colorado yearly for skiing. This year we decide to visit during the summer and go the RMNP. The condo was very nice and clean. The views from the balcony were amazing while having a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Upon arriving the condo was very hot. This year they are having unusual hotter summer. We had to use the box fans to get it cooler during the afternoons when we returned. The tiny ceiling fans really didn’t help with adding cooler air. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed while staying. The only suggestion would be adding bigger ceiling fans. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. The live band during the week and food at the base were added bonus to the stay! We enjoyed hanging at the base in the evenings. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo!

Nice Property / Vacasa Can Do Better

The property was very nice. Everything in the unit was fantastic. My only constructive criticism is that the VRBO booking said we would receive a text on how to get in the unit. We never received a text. We had to sign up for the Vacasa App to find this information. Additionally, the code to unlock the door wouldn’t work since the “0” button was missing. The Vacasa reps weren’t super helpful as they gave us a code for a lockbox to get a physical key. Unfortunately the code for the lockbox didn’t work. I used a metal object to eventually get the “0” to work so we could get in. Of note, we were in Granby for a family event. I know of at least 3 other parties that had issues with the keyless system at this property. Keyless is great…if it works. Vacasa might want to take a look at this process. Once we got this resolved we thoroughly enjoyed our stay so I would still recommend this property.

Nice and convenient

We love staying at Base Camp One! So convenient to be able to go up to our room for breaks between skiing. Nice to be able to cook but also a good bar/restaurant on property. A locker for storage and a parking spot in the indoor garage come with the room. Close to a grocery store and fast food. Room was just as nice as it looks online.

Do not stay here

If I could leave a negative review I would. No water, no AC, no elevators worked for several days, never given any codes to the garage or front of the building, had to use my own Hulu because there was no regular TV. I emailed property management twice and never got a response, talked to 3 people and was told all my issues would be handled and they were not. I requested a discount and never got an answer. Find a different place to stay with a different management company.

Fantastic location for convenience

We enjoyed our stay! Having access to ski lockers and true ski in and out was priceless. The condo was really nice and perfect for our family of 4. Everything we needed in kitchen was within reach and we are in most of the time. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great family place a few suggestions

Great place for our kids (7 years olds) first ski trip. Ski in/out and proximity to lessons was helpful. Condo was over all nicely furnished and appreciated the crockpot but the skillets pans should be replaced and measuring cups/spoons would be a nice addition. We didn’t know what the keycard was for so more instructions there needed. Also ignore the combo boxes in the parking garage. We misunderstood the instructions and tried there to get the condo key there before we learned the combo was on the actual room door. We were on hold with property management company for 30 minutes trying to figure that out - so their responsiveness was disappointing. Please also note that there is no ski locker with this unit or if it was make the instructions clearer. That would have been a really nice addition to the unit.

Base Camp Convenience

Our family very much enjoyed staying at this property. Pros: Ski-in, ski-out, locker room, very clean, rental shop right on site, heated pool and hot tub and underground parking. This place is great. Cons: The only thing that was slightly inconvenient is the pool and hot tub are about a 50 yd walk through the snow. (first world problems) Would stay here again for sure.

Spacious and very welcoming. It was stocked with the essentials (paper towels, extra towels, coffee, and hot chocolate). There were a few dirty dishes and places where housekeeping missed cleaning. There seemed to be dog hair on the sofa from previous residents. The front-facing balcony was large with a nice view. It easy to get into the unit. Would stay again.

Condo was okay, condo/resort needs more accommodations

The views are outstanding and the balcony is a good size. The condo is nice enough and was clean. We received only one physical key for the condo. That was challenging and annoying. The pool, unbeknownst to us, cost $10 per person PER DAY, yet no pool towels were originally provided in the home or at the pool. A local management person did bring us some later in the afternoon the next day. Similar to the one condo key, we were provided one pool pass, which was also challenging and annoying since our group was coming and going at different times. There is NO air conditioning in the entire Base Camp One. It was 80* inside the condo when we arrived with one box fan provided. One more was brought to us the next day along with the pool towels. Our little boys were melting. A note about the resort, there is one restaurant on site. The staff and food was fantastic. At this time, it does not open until 12noon. So, if you would like breakfast you'll have to drive into town or make your own. There is no coffee shop or general store at the resort either. We did rent mountain bikes and that was a blast! Overall the condo itself was nice, but other accommodations were lacking.

Deceiving

The condo is incredibly small. Master bed is a full size. Bedding throughout is dusty and old. The condo is located in Base Camp One- which is not kept up- trashy in elevators, hallways, etc.... Will NOT stay on this property again.
