The cabin is very pretty and clean, and has great amenities. It is close to Gatlinburg while still being far enough away to avoid the noise of the city.
We absolutely loved this cabin & its location. It’s in a great location. So easy to get to & close to the downtown Gatlinburg area. The cabin is so pretty & clean. Really enjoyed the pool table & hot tub. We will definitely stay here again
The cabin was exactly as advertised and very clean with comfortable beds and linens, plus nice bathrooms and kitchen area. The hot tub was a nice plus! We liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle but still a short enough drive to activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The owners were friendly and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends who are coming to the area!
Beautiful cabin. Super clean. Convenient location but not in the city. Communication with the owners was the best I’ve ever experienced. Definitely want to stay again in the fall!
Beautiful, clean property. This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin. Our only, slight complaint is that the bed linens are not real comfortable...that is minor. We had a wonderful family vacation and would stay again and recommend to others for sure.
The cabin was easy to find and beautiful. The community is very quiet. It was just close enough to Gatlinburg and just far enough away to be quiet and no traffic. We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water. Plenty of utensils to make dinners and/or breakfast at the cabin. The property manager was professional and helpful when we had a question. We highly recommend and will stay here again!
Cute cabin for sure. Not the cleanest as we found cob webbs in the bathroom and dust bunnies around the furniture in the bedroom. Also you ask to not use your wash clothes to remove makup, but yet you only supply 1 disposable wipe. Either supply more or dont get upset and charge people if they use the washcloth. There was no where to get a parking pass as mentioned in the arrival email. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
Pluses: New and modern, safe and easy drive / access to, screened in deck, hot tub with privacy shades, proximity to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, nice size communal pool (seasonal, verify dates open) with cozy gym, two generous size parking spaces (was an issue before per reviews now remedied by driveway expansion), direct line to helpful and responsive owner.
Two minor minuses: Views are lacking, you can get an okay view on the top floor mini deck, the gas grill location in the backyard slope on the edge of the street isn’t ideal for a cookout gathering so we skipped it. If there was a small platform in front of the cabin to grill, it would have been enjoyed a lot. Still a great place I’d recommend if those minuses don’t bother you.
Our family of 4 stayed here and it was perfect. The listing doesn’t tell you how great the location is. 5 mins to downtown, 8 mins to mountains. This place had everything we needed from the hot tub, pool table, laundry, and everything you needed in the kitchen. The owner seriously thought of everything including a kettle to have a hot glass of tea next to the fireplace. You want to stay here and our family will be back! Also owner was awesome I left something very meaningful to me and he went over and beyond and mailed the item to me. What else can I say location, mountains, relaxing, no issue with check in and everything was brand new in this place. Book this place if it’s open you won’t regret it!
Cabin/development is fairly new so it was was super clean! No need to worry about bugs, dust & overall cleanliness - as it is well maintained. The owners have honestly thought of everything when stocking this cabin. Everything from salt & pepper, to towels for the hot tub. Location is ideal if coming for tourist attractions like Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Depending on traffic, just a short 10 minute commute.
I’m giving it a 4 rating for 2 reasons. My family & I felt as if we couldn’t enjoy the outside. While we understand cameras are necessary, we felt as if we were under surveillance. I received a message regarding parking shortly after returning to the cabin from our first full day there. It was as if the owner received an alert from camera, watched, and sent us a message shortly thereafter. Therefore, it made us uncomfortable to “hang out” outside for fear of being watched. Secondly, the parking is extremely small. You share the drive with your neighbor - and you’re expected to get 4 vehicles into a space that is primarily made for 3. The first night there, my husband parked in the middle of our 2 spots. I received a message within the hour of returning to the cabin, advising we needed to park closer to the grass. The next evening when we returned from our day, there were 2 full size vehicles parked in our neighbors spots. We had enough room for our truck, however, if we had another vehicle with us, there would be no where to park it. Upon our Monday morning departure we were greeted with a skid loader digging up the front yard, less than 10 ft from my husbands truck at 8AM. Turns out, they were adding onto the driveway. So, additional guests won’t have to worry much! :)
This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was SO CLEAN and smelled amazing! The location was perfect and easy to find. We couldn’t get the outlets in the bathrooms to work, but other than that we had no issues! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
Cabin was great for our family of 4. Kids got to play pool, hang out in the hot tub and had a ton of fun! Sleeping arrangements were great and we had everything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay and would definitely come back.
My family is very picky when it comes to cleanliness of the places we stay. This cabin met our standards.
We did have a couple hiccups, the shower curtain rods failed in both bathrooms, one fell in the middle of the night, that was fun! I tried to fix both but no luck, I think they were just cheap rods. We had to hang the hooks from the woodwork so we could shower.
It is a bit of a drive to Town but is a nice setting. Great place for kids to bring bikes.
Overall, it’s a nice place and I would recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay at White Oak Lodge. Far enough from the crowded streets of Gatlinburg, but close enough to enjoy the day sightseeing. The cabin was very clean, fully equipped with all essentials and spacious for 2 adults and 4 children. Definitely made me nervous having the kids upstairs on the loft so I had to follow them everywhere (I would recommend moving the love seat and other chairs away from the ledge/balcony. ) Another reviewer mentioned they did not enjoy the cameras outside, and while we did not really mind them, I can definitely understand the reviewers reasoning but can also understand from a landlords standpoint. Overall I would definitely stay here again should we be in the area. Thank you for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
This house was exactly as pictured. It is a new property that is well stocked. Another renter mentioned lack of towels, and I agree that is an issue. Another issue was that the rental agreement and information book in the cabin had different instructions. The rental agreement gave instructions to load the dishwasher and run it before leaving. However, the information book requested that the dishwasher be run and dishes put away before leaving. When leaving a property in the morning m, this can be difficult, but the 11am checkout time helped. I would recommend the property to others. It is in a great location.
This property did NOT disappoint! Very clean, lots of space for our family of 5 to spread out, comfortable beds and fully outfitted kitchen! We loved exploring the Smoky Mountains and then relaxing on the screened in porch, soaking our sore muscles in the hot tub and playing pool. One our our best VRBO experiences!
I am sometimes reluctant to do VRBO stays because some appear nicer than they are. This was NOT the case here.
There were such good reviews for this property I thought we would give it a chance.
It really was perfection. You could tell it was new and well cared for. We instantly felt very comfortable and it felt clean. We definitely highly recommend and will come back again.
One very small thing that felt slightly lacking was the lack of extra (and larger) bath towels and extra wash cloths that would have been appreciated..
Again would highly recommend this property! ❤️🎉👏🏻☀️🗻
