Ocean Palms - Great golf and tennis plus the fabulous Westin!

Welcome to our 'piece of paradise' on Hilton Head Island! Our fully equipped, spacious (1750 square feet) second floor condo overlooks a lagoon and is a short walk to either of two pools, kiddie pool, outdoor hot tub or the beautiful Hilton Head beach. This rental also includes golf and tennis each day!

Located next to the Westin Resort in Port Royal Plantation, it offers privacy and easy access to all of Hilton Head’s many activities. Guests can walk or use the complimentary Westin shuttle to the Westin Resort. They also have full access to all the resorts’ wonderful amenities including dining and/or room service, Westin’s world class health club, indoor/outdoor pools, Heavenly Spa and poolside Tiki Hut.

Four complimentary rounds of golf per day await you at the golf courses in Port Royal Plantation and Shipyard Plantation. You pay only the cart fee, the greens fees are included! This represents a savings of up to $90 per person depending on the season and time of day! You may play any of the three Port Royal courses; The Barony, Planter’s Row and Robber’s Row (Pete Dye design) or the Shipyard Golf Club courses on Shipyard Plantation. Tennis fees for four for one hour each day at the Port Royal Tennis Club are included as well. There are over 50 miles of bike trails on the Island so bring your bikes or rent them locally.

All three bedrooms have cable TV and a king bed (each can be converted to two twin size beds if desired). And all three bathrooms were beautifully remodeled in 2022!

You can dine in one of Hilton Head’s more than 125 restaurants or prepare your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen. The living area includes cable HDTV and DVD player, WiFi internet access and a wet bar. The walkout deck overlooks the beautiful lagoon. Our condo also includes a washer and dryer. This is a smoke free condo and no pets are allowed.

All of our weeks are rented Saturday to Saturday.

Special place!

We had a wonderful stay at Dan and Betsy's condo at Ocean Palms. The place and location was as described and we so enjoyed the amenities associated with the Westin. We highly recommend this rental and will be staying there again at our first opportunity. Dan and Betsy are great hosts!!!

Another great stay at Ocean Palms

We have been staying in these condos for years and they are perfect for our group. Spacious condo, clean, and great common/kitchen space. The location is easy and the included golf is a great value. It is a short bike ride/walk to the Westin with all the amenities (spa, pool, beach access). The host was responsive and provided great resources. We will definitely be back.

The property looks much better online than in person. the tile was cracked in the bathrooms. There was a leak in the sprinkler system in the downstairs bathroom which created rusty water dripping on the tile and an incredibly powerful stench. It was not repaired until two days before we left. Even after the repair the stench remained. Hopefully these problems will be remediated, so they won’t be an issue for any other tenants. It is lovely for every room to have its own bathroom and to have the deck overlooking the lagoon. The location is quite convenient and the community was quiet and attractive overall.

Beautiful Westin Villa!

We always enjoy staying at this resort and this time was no different. We love the access to the Westin and the many amenities that includes. Such fun activities each day for kids. Beautiful property and beautiful weather all week. Check in was late this year though. Unable to access the villa until 5:30. Also had a slight problem with the fridge but maintenance replaced while we were at the beach so worked out fine. Thanks for sharing your vacation villa with us. And the info packet had lots of great suggestions. We had a great week and hope to come back again.

Great Place!

This was a great place for a vacation. The condo was a perfect for our family with each bedroom getting there own private bathroom. Having access to the Westin was a definite perk. We spent more time there than the beach and we are beach people! It was walking distance to many of my sister-in-laws tennis matches. Thank you for making my daughters first vacation a great one!

Ocean Palms Port Royal Condo

We just loved this place. The condo is lovely, very spacious and comfortable. The owners are gracious and extremely helpful. The view is very pretty, overlooking a small pond. It was quiet and although we've enjoyed the Barony in the past, we new prefer Ocean Palms. It was by far our best experience on Hilton Head, and we've been vacationing there for several years.

Your host

We live in Northeast, Ohio and are recipients of something called “lake effect” snow at times. The beautiful warm sea breezes and bright sunshine are a wonderful respite from our weather. Dan is an avid golfer. Betsy, at best, is a hacker! We enjoy bike riding and walking. Hilton Head is the perfect place to do all three.

Why they chose this property

We had been vacationing in Hilton Head for over twenty years, renting out villas for one or two week stays. It had always been our dream to own our own vacation getaway. In 2008 we decided to use some of our vacation time to look at real estate. As soon as our agent showed us Ocean Palms, we were hooked! The architecture and landscaping of Ocean Palms is so beautiful! We also liked the décor inside the villas as well as the way they are maintained and continually updated. With golf and tennis included as well as all the amenities of the Westin Resort at our disposal, it just seemed like the perfect place for us.

What makes this property unique

We don’t like to toot our own horn, but…we think we have the most beautiful view of all the villas! We look out over the canal that runs through Port Royal Plantation and all the different wildlife that call it home, most notably, “Bubba,” the local ‘gator! When we’re at Ocean Palms, it is so secluded, quiet and restful and only minutes by foot or bike from the ocean. And yet, jump in the car for a few minutes and there are some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment spots we could possibly ask for.

Two things have always drawn us to Hilton Head Island. The first is how environmentally and ecologically friendly it is. There are no high rises or garish commercialism. The environment and the wildlife native to this area have been preserved. Second and more importantly, is how family-friendly the island is. When we look back at our fondest memories with our kids, they usually involve Hilton Head. What a blessing to know our children will be able to have these same memories with their families!
