Fun for Everyone!
We had the best time staying here. Lots of fun lawn games, kayaking, paddle boards, and fishing! The house is very well stocked and the communication with the owners was wonderful. We will definitely be back for another week of relaxing on the water!

Perfect long weekend
We had a relaxing weekend at Tilghman Retreat. It felt like home - everything we needed for the weekend was there - outdoor games, comfortable chairs, beautiful water and view. My in laws have become less mobile as they have aged and this was the perfect place to enjoy each other and be able to do as much or as little as we wanted. Some of us ran, biked and attempted kayaking (water was too rough). We played corn hole, card games, watched movies and spent time wandering in St. Michaels and enjoying dinner. It was perfect!

Tilghman Island is a hidden gem
The property and home are lovely. The home was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor. Property is large and provides some privacy. We ejoyed the use of the private pier, fire pit with wood, kayaks and yard games. Appreciated use of bicycles (kids even gave tandem a spin). Tilghman Island is delightful for a quiet getaway with spectacular views. The sunsets are amazing. We chartered a fishing trip out of the marina in town. Our host provided some fishing charter options which was much appreciated. Enjoyed dinner at Chesapeake Landing in St. Michael's (Lobster night on Thursdays!). Several dining options within 15 min. The General Store on the island had all we needed for our mini stay.

Relaxing beautiful getaway
My family and I had a wonderful stay! It was so relaxing to just look out into the backyard where the water and dock are. The first day was rainy, but we were able to enjoy the games that were at the home. The second day had better weather and we took the kayaks out, tried crabbing on the dock and walked around St. Michael's. The fenced yard was perfect - my son was able to run around to his heart's content. The home was really well-stocked and clean. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful Getaway
This property is the perfect getaway for relaxing on the Chesapeake Bay. Being able to have coffee on the deck or private pier watching the eagles and water was so rejuvenating and peaceful. This house provides many amenities and the ones we enjoyed the most were the crab pots (which we tried, but only got 6 keepers, so decided to throw them back) and the bicycles (the island is very bicycle friendly!). We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Tilghman Island has a few restaurants on it - we enjoyed breakfast at Two If By Sea and dinner at Tickler's Crab Shack. We also enjoyed going to St. Michaels (such a cute little town!) for shopping, a sailboat ride on the Selina II, the Maritime Museum, and more restaurant choices. I would definitely recommend this house if you are truly looking to slow down, unplug a bit, and relax right by the beautiful Bay. I was exactly what we were looking to do, and found it perfect for our trip.

Could not ask for more in a relaxing rental
This was an unbelievable rental. Quite possibly the best I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location was picturesque, and Sarah was in constant communication throughout. Property was clean and well furnished as noted, and had little notes all around to help you find things - even had little tips. Not too far from St Michaels to make day trips to the town, but far enough where you're not dealing with the traffic. Highly recommend this place for a true getaway.
