AMAZING!

La Calade was the perfect place to spend our family holiday - 10 adults and 8 young children! The four houses meant each family could have their own space but we congregated altogether in the bigger house for meals and around the pool. We loved the rustic feel of the property, well restored and complemented with Balinese furniture and local floor tiles. All bedrooms have an en suite shower and loo and a fan which was so welcome as it was very warm. The main kitchen was better equipped than most kitchens in previous rentals and it was great to have a choice of dining tables either outside or inside. The small pool connected to the larger swimming pool was perfect for the little ones. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, a comfortable pool house and a ping pong table. The walkers/runners among us enjoyed exploring the surrounding countryside and we all loved discovering some of the beautiful towns and villages in the Luberon. We are looking forward to returning to La Calade next year.

Wonderful stay in the Provence countryside

A lovely rustic property with a genuine Provencal feel. Acres of space and large swimming pool. Ideally located to tour the Luberon / Vaucluse regions. Weather was baking hot so we would have liked aircon but fans are located throughout the property.

Un magnifique séjour!

Un séjour d’une semaine magnifique! De l’accueil au départ, tout était parfait! Nous étions au total 22… La piscine et les espaces extérieurs sont spacieux et bien entretenus… Un vrai plaisir!

Peu Mieux Faire

L’ensemble des 4 maisons est en veille pierre donc très beau. La maison « Hangar » peut accueillir pour les repas les 25 personnes (en extérieur – et ombragé toute la journée- comme en intérieur). La cuisine est vaste, neuve et très bien équipée (four immense, plaque au gaz énorme, deux gros éviers en inox, un plan de travail pour deux voire trois personnes, un frigo américain qui fait de la glace et un autre frigo/congélateur en appoint dans la salle à manger…) et dehors il y a deux planchas de grandes tailles ; Un véritable barbecue au charbon de bois aurait fait de ce lieu un endroit parfait… Les autres maisons possèdent également une cuisine chacune (mais beaucoup plus petite car adaptée pour 6 personnes) ; Nous ne les avons pas utilisés car nous avions loué pour 20 personnes (et donc l’ensemble des 4 maisons). Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais pour le peu que l’on y reste c’est suffisant ; A noter qu’il n’y a pas la climatisation et que toutes les chambres ne sont malheureusement pas équipées de ventilateur (portable ou au plafond) ; Et c’est dommage car il fait très chaud dans cette région. Les salles de bain sont correctes, si ce n’est que la descente dans certaines est très périlleuse (petit escalier dont les marches sont de hauteurs différentes). Toutes les maisons ont un salon/salle à manger avec table et chaises, télévision, canapé… Les décorations sont de bons gouts dans l’ensemble. En extérieur il y la piscine ; Elle est grande Mais elle est relativement dégradée (beaucoup de petits carreaux manquent et de fait certains endroits sont « coupants » pour les pieds), la pataugeoire est constamment recouverte d’insectes et vous êtes obligés d’avoir le robot en permanence avec vous… Robot dont l’embout qui le relie à la piscine se trouve justement à l’entrée des escaliers, ce qui rend dangereux l’entrée dans celle-ci ; Ma fille enceinte est tombé à cause du robot et à cassé l’embout reliant la machine à la piscine – Qui m’a été facturé 40 euros… Mais ma fille va bien (au fait…). En résumé, il faudrait revoir entièrement la piscine et surtout retirer le robot en journée. Autour de la piscine il y suffisamment de chaises longues (manquerait deux ou trois parasols pour parfaire l’ensemble). Pour jouer aux boules vous avez le parking voitures devant la maison (« le Hangar ») sur lequel nous avons garé 5 voitures et une moto. Pour les raquettes ou volley-ball, il n’y a pas assez de place (la partie en herbes est petite). Une table de p

La maison correspondait à la description et à nos attentes, en revanche les équipements et le service sont médiocres et de qualité bien inférieures à nos attentes et aux services habituels dans ce type de location Exemple : linge de maison très usé, aucun rangement dans les salles de bain ni dans la cuisine, literie de mauvaise qualité, ampoule manquante, lampe cassée etc Bref, service minimaliste décevant

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une maison très confortable. La résidence est située dans un village tranquille et nous étions seuls au bord de la piscine (encore trop tôt dans la saison pour y plonger).
