PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING

Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with open floor plan and fantastic views!! Perfect for family vacations or a couples retreat! This condo offers all the comforts of home. Living room features a wood burning fireplace with firewood stocked regularly from mid-October thru mid-March. What a great way to spend an evening after a day of skiing, snowboarding or many other fun filled activities Wintergreen Resort and Nelson County has to offer!

The fully stocked kitchen offers an ample supply of dishware, utensils, pots and pans, a toaster, microwave and a brand new dual Cuisinart drip & K-cup coffee maker. Starter supply of coffee and tea are supplied.

Condo offers 2 bedrooms- one with a King bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds with access to the second full bathroom in the hallway. Towels and linens are included. We also offer our guests a starter supply of toiletries. For your convenience there is a full sized washer and dryer.

For ski rentals, you'll want to reserve in advance. Availability fills up fast. You may also be able to purchase lift tickets in advance. Check the Wintergreen Resort website for more info.

Guests will have access to the Chestnut Springs and Rodes Farm outdoor pools from 2PM to 6PM. (Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend). A valid I.D. will be required for access. Lake Monocan is also available on Sundays, Tuesday-Friday. Check the WPOA website for hours and pricing.

Please note: We are not considered "resort members" so you will not have access to resort run amenities such as the Wintergarden Spa, Devils Knob Golf Course or Devils Knob Grill. You may be able to book a spa treatment to access the indoor pool etc. We highly recommend checking directly with the resort to confirm. You can go to the WPOA website for the best recommended hiking trails and current events in the area.

The use of motorcycles are prohibited on the mountain. Guests driving motorcycles will need to park at the Wintergreen PD and have transportation up to the condo.

Beautiful views

This condo is well equipped and has fantastic views! A little extra on what we typically are happy with in a rental: We were happy to see salt and pepper, but all other seasonings, oil, foil, ect are not provided. The beds I would rate as 7/10. We all got goods nights rest but they so seem to be older and squeaky if you roll around! As the listing states no laundry detergent! We didn’t plan on doing laundry but had something come Up that we needed to do a load so would be nice if they just had a pod or two for guests with an unexpected laundry need. The fireplace worked great & a nice treat to have wood supplied but will need starter like newspaper! The slopes are a very quick drive and parking is pretty easy so we didn’t have any complaints about location! If you are a family or couples that like to sit around the living there are 4 spots to sit, 3 individual chairs and a loveseat. Just an FYI for anyone who likes bigger couches! Overall we were happy with our stay.

Beautifully appointed condo with stunning views

We stayed for three nights and were able to enjoy the beauty of Wintergreen and had easy access to many activities on and off the property. Use of a nearby pool was a welcome benefit of the condo. The kitchen was well equipped although there was one minor problem.The carafe for the coffee maker appears to be the wrong size as the the dripping coffee would not fall into it and would instead spill over it.

Fantastic Summer Weekend

Having visited Wintergreen many times in the winter, I wanted to try a summer gateway. This condo was perfect. The view is amazing to watch sunrises, sunsets, and everything in between. Storms, clouds in the valleys, and more. The condo layout and windows allow for cross ventilation which I employed most of the evenings and mornings. Then AC for mid day. Impeccably clean and well stocked. Simple check in and check out. Enjoyed evenings at the Edge chatting with others at the bar. Wi-Fi was strong for working when needed.

Presidents Day Weekend 2023

My family and I enjoyed the "retro" vibes, real fire place, and views. The weather did not cooperate for skiing however, we made up for it by going on a 7+mile hike along Three Ridges. It did feel cooler in the back bedrooms (despite the heat setting) as another reviewer noted. Extra blankets in the closets.

The unit was very cold and could have been warmer… bath towels were damp upon our arrival… put them in dryer… was a bit disappointed as to why they were damp.

Quiet Place

The pictures does the condo no justice. Everything was on point. Very clean and felt so welcoming. The views were so beautiful and the sounds of nature in the morning is a breathe of fresh air. There is enough room to be super comfy. The rocking chairs were a big hit for my husband. He loved the fireplace and the smell of the fire pit on the patio. We even walked a trail which was so exciting. We enjoyed everything, even the trip to the store down the mountain.

Great house

This condo was great. So much space and seating, the microwave didn’t work but there was a toaster oven we used instead. The large windows showed the beautiful Mountain Views. We didn’t realize Wintergreen closes the black diamond lift at 4pm that this property is by. So that was a struggle to work around but overall this condo had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 4. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Spectacular views

We came for the fall colors and saw beauty beyond our expectations. We literally stared out the windows or sat on the balcony the entire time we had daylight. The condo was comfy, the property manager was very responsive, and our stay was relaxing. Check the resort restaurant schedule before you come because we did get stuck on a night with no restaurant... but the market has great fresh made pizza and sandwiches, so we easily survived! Hope to return!

Beautiful View

A cozy mountain top accommodation with an amazing view. Everything was as advertised. A lot of steps involved when checking and out. Also, some items need updating: dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven. The biggest drawback was that all three televisions were not in sync with cable provider resulting in inability to select channels and navigate the televisions. It appeared they were lacking cable boxes to allow televisions to operate properly. Very frustrating throughout visit. Condo needs insecticide treatment for ants and spiders. Great coffee pot. Superb location for viewing sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
