Fab; highly recommended

Had a really fab stay in the Watchman's Apartment. Very clean throughout with a good level of equipment. Right on the route of the Night Watchman, stops just outside and you can watch and listen from the kitchen door. Very close to all local attractions especially the wine route. Turckheim itself is also really nice with a good selection of restaurants and bars to eat and drink at. Would highly recommend not only the apartment, but also the Alsace region...definitely going back. Special mention to Gregory, very prompt to answer any queries and the welcome wine and cake were well received.

Extraordinary appartment in a prime location

Gregory, der Gastgeber, war sehr hilfsbereit (Koffer die Wendeltreppe und die steile Metalltreppe hochschleppen), freundlich und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank Gregory :-). Das Appartment ist einzigartig, sehr schön renoviert - und es hat sehr viele TV-Programme (auch deutsche), zum gemütlich Abhängen. Aufgepasst: das WC ist unten, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind oben - aber so hatten wir unser tägliches Step-Training :-). Was noch zu erwähnen ist, nebst dem ungewöhnlichen und wirklich sehr schönen Appartment - ist die schmale langgestreckte Aussengalerie - wirkliches Mittelalterfeeling. War schön. Helga und Yves

Schöne Wohnung in super Lage

Eine stilvoll und modern eingerichtete Wohnung in einem urigen alten Haus. Es war alles sauber und schön hergerichtet. Check-in und check-out waren super organisiert, die Vermieter waren nett und unkompliziert. Turckheim ist eine super Basis um Elsass und Vogesen zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wirklich toll!

Im sehr niedlichen Turckheim ist die äußerst gemütliche Wohnung ca. 7 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Lage, Einrichtung und Umgebung wie im Angebot- eben sehr idyllisch. Der Vermieter spricht gut Deutsch und ist wirklich freundlich. Unsere Erwartungen wurden insgesamt übertroffen. Wirklich zu empfehlen!

Un gite à découvrir

Très agréable séjour dans un gite d'exception. Nous avons passé les fêtes de Noël sur place et que du bonheur. Attention toutefois si vous louez à Turkheim, il est vivement conseillé de réserver votre resto du soir car ils sont souvent complets

Außergewöhnliche FeWo mit Charme für Bewegliche

Wir hatten die oberste von 3 Ferienwohnungen in diesem mittelalterlichen Gemäuer und waren begeistert von der stimmigen, modernen Einrichtung. Man sollte allerdings gut beweglich sein auf den steilen Treppen, den niedrigen Balken und den unterschiedlichen Bodenhöhen. Dann absolut empfehlenswert!

Udmærket lejlighed i Türckheim

Lejligheden i Türckheim er pæn og hyggelig, og ligger udmærket i det dejlige Alsace, med fine muligheder for at vandre i byen eller i vinmarkerne bag byen. Türckheim er en hyggelig by med gode muligheder for at handle og med gode restauranter og cafe’er. Udlejeren burde dele billeder op på VRBO, så man tydeligt kan se hvilke billeder der hører til hvilken lejlighed, idet billederne for nuværende dækker 2 lejligheder.

Unterkunft und Lage klasse

Die Wohnung liegt direkt in der alten Stadtmauer und ist sehr gemütlich und stilecht eingerichtet. Ist mal etwas anderes, hier zu wohnen. Ist gut isoliert, wenn man die Fenster tagsüber geschlossen hält, so dass die Wärme nicht hereinkommen kann, ist sie angenehm kühl. Selbst bei 40 Grad. In den Schlafzimmern unterm Dach stehen Ventilatoren und Klimaanlage bereit, für alle Fälle. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und schnell und unkompliziert zu erreichen.

Agréable gîte de caractère

Gîte restauré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les colombages apparents et l'authenticité de ce bel appartement. Le gîte est également très bien situé, dans un environnement très calme. En un mot, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, et les conseils de notre hôte quant aux visites à faire. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement !

Originelle Ferienwohnung in altem Gemäuer. Gut geeignet für 2 Personen. Da Bad ist recht klein, aber man kommt zurecht. Die Wohnung ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht. CheckIn/Out total entspannt.

Ideale Basis

Wir hatten mit vier Personen (2 Erwachsene und 2 Teens) die obere Wohnung im Juli 2019 gemietet. Hinweis: Die eingestellten Bilder stellen einen Mix aus beiden Wohnngen dar. Turckheim hat seine touristischen Reize, ohne Überlaufen zu sein, wie man es in manch anderen Bilderbuchorten des Elsass erlebt. Man hat alles vor Ort - und der nächste größere Supermarkt ist nur 6 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Wohnung ist in der Nähe von Colmar und so eine ideale Basis das ganze Elsass und die Vogesen zu erkunden. Uns hat es eigentlich an nichts gefehlt, außer vielleicht das wir uns etwas mehr Ablagefläche für unsere Kleidung gewünscht hätten, da große Schränke baulich bedingt nicht vorhanden waren. so blieb vieles gleich im Koffer. Gegen die sommerliche Hitze in den Schlafzimmern (Dachgeschoss) ist ein mobiles Klimagerät vorhanden, was wir bei Außentemperaturen über 30 Grad auch reichlich benutzt haben. Das Parken ist in unmittelbarer Nähe außerhalb der Stadtmauer möglich und hat jeden Tag problemlos geklappt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett, problemlos und deutschsprachig. Es gab für uns reichlich Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurantbesuche, ... Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und eine Grundausstattung wie Geschirrspültaps, Salz, Pfeffer, Tee, Kaffee (Filter und Kapsel) waren vorhanden. Das haben wir schon ganz anders erlebt. Insgesamt war alles in Ordnung und die Unterkunft zu empfehlen. Merci und viel Spaß im Elsass.

Moderne Wohnung in sehr altem Gebäude

Wer gern in einem sehr alten Gebäude wohnen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Alte Holzbalken, tlw. Natursteinwände und einige sehr kleine Fenster. Es ist nicht alles gerade, es quietscht hier und da - genau wie von uns erwartet. Trotzdem ist die Wohnung modern ausgestattet, es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, spricht gut deutsch und hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Vom Balkon aus kann man sogar in die engen Gassen von Turkheim schauen und die Nachtwächter beim Rundgang beobachten. Eine moderne Wohnung im historischen Ambiente, wir waren sehr zufrieden.
