With wood paneling worthy of a cabin in the woods, this charming home has plenty of space to spread out and relax! You'll enter into the full kitchen immediately when you come into this home, ideal for if you're in need of hot cocoa. The lovely open design features a kitchen island (complete with range), a double oven, a French door refrigerator, and plenty of equipment and pantry items. The great room is just beyond, where you can throw a few logs on the fire and settle in on the plush sectional sofa. Two bedrooms feature multiple beds, and each include a trundle bed to make sure there's enough room for every guest. But those bedrooms are on the top floor - the main floor's bedrooms have one bed each and provide plenty of privacy. The main bedroom's en suite bathroom features both a standalone shower and a luxurious soaking tub. Head downstairs and enjoy kicking back in the den (perfect for younger guests who want a chill space of their own). The laundry room includes a deep sink, perfect for handwashing ski gloves or soaking out a stain. This lakefront home is in a prime location, with a sandy beach on the east side of the property. You'll be able to enjoy beautiful views of the lake and surrounding woods all year long, preferably from the wide deck. Have fun cooking up dinner on the private gas grill. There's so much to enjoy at the Wicked Moose!

Things to know:
Accessible-height toilet
Full generator power backup
Guests are free to use the 50 amp RV hookup on the front of the house.
Three double sofabeds (in the loft and the basement) provide extra sleeping space.

Incredible location
Absolutely breathtaking. The home was beautiful and very well equipped. The location was perfect. Having use of the canoes was a plus. The homeowners thought of everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only downside was not getting a follow-up call in regards to a breaker tripping which meant we couldn't use the microwave for a few days. We could not access the breaker box. It by no means ruined out stay. We managed without the microwave. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. We give The Wicked Moose Cabin 5 stars.

Beautiful new cabin on quiet cove
Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was just as described. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The grocery store and town were just a quick 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit and the canoes. Sunsets from the dock were amazing. The only issue we encountered was that only 1 adult life jacket was provided (but 3 for dogs). Luckily we had brought a couple from home so we were able to make due. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house and property!
We enjoyed our trip to Moosehead Lake. The house was beautiful, just as described. The property is stunning with a gravel path to the dock and lake. Dock is brand new w chairs to sit on. Two canoes are available and you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats in town. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. The game room in the basement was a blast for the kids. There’s a very nice fire pit outside and very comfortable Adirondack chairs on the deck. Dog friendly too! Extremely private. Couple of things to be aware of... I was approached by a moose while walking my dog on the dirt road, the town is extremely small with a small grocery store and very little else. There are only a couple of restaurants and getting anything to go wasn’t possible because they told me “they ran out of food”. The nearest pharmacy was an hour and a half away. So if you like to go out to eat this is probably not the place for you, definitely bring your own food.

Great Snowmobiling Trip!
Easy access to lake and snowmobile trails if you are a seasoned rider. Great accommodations for multiple couples and kids due to the bedroom and bathroom layouts. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers. The washer and dryer was a huge help. Wonderful local property support, if needed. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the property could really use a propane grill instead of a charcoal grill (which didn't have any lighter fluid to light easily) to save time and prevent stinky clothes. And it would have been really great if the Hot Tub was working to soothe sore muscles after long snowmobile trips. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The little things
This home was exceptional and had all the little conviences from kitchen gadgets, ice melt & shovels to everyday household supplies. The layout was perfect for families. Enough room for kids and adults to have their own space. Loved the fireplace and outdoor firepit. And the view was picturesque! The home itself was impeccable! Heated floors were a bonus! This was our 4th visit to Beaver Cove and favorite home!

Great Family Getaway!
This was a very clean cabin steps away from the lake. There was a game room on the lower level that was great for the kids!

Wicked Moose
This property was a great choice for our family. It was newly built last spring. It was in beautiful location. The inside had a fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances and cookware. Bedrooms were spacious with attached bathrooms. Fire pit, fireplace, and beach right there. I had to report a small problem and the maintenance were there in an hour. Staff was Friendly and helpful. We would go again.

Beautiful, clean home in amazing location
The house and property are absolutely beautiful. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had plenty of room for 9 of us and dogs. The daylight basement has foosball and air hockey tables which were a great surprise and kept my kids busy - we even had a whole family air hockey tournament. This home is close to town - approximately 10 minutes to downtown Greenville and the grocery store. 3 miles beyond the home is the entrance to Lily Bay State park, and there are hikes and trails around. A couple of things we learned in our stay that we wanted to share: 1. There are no BEACH towels at the home (despite the listing saying there are), though there are white towels for use indoors. Bring your own beach towels. 2. If you intend to use any of the sofa beds, coordinate with the property management ahead of time because they need to bring you sheets for them. 3. The sandy beach worked well for launching kayaks, but not for swimming. It's very shallow, rocky, and you can sink in mud in spots. We had more luck swimming off the large rock on the front of the property - bring water shoes. The water was not accessible for our whole party or for our aluminum fishing boat, which was a bit disappointing - so best to know that going in, and make plans accordingly (we went to the state park for swimming). In the end, beautiful home that was spacious, clean and in a great location.

This place is amazing!! The lake and views were breathtaking. High end throughout and the cleanest place we ever stayed in! The beds and pillows were amazing! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need! Plenty of linens. Vacasa was great to work with! We have been coming to Greenville for the past 23 years and absolutely love it. We will definitely be staying at the Wicked Moose Cabin again!!

Perfect Spot
The house is beautiful and has everything you need from kcup coffee maker to air hockey table. 10 -15 minutes from restaurants (Stress Free Moose was our favorite) and grocery store. We enjoyed kayaking, side by siding and hanging out with a fire in the fire pit with a lake view. This was the perfect house to rent and we look forward to coming back.
