Great location for mixed group of downhill and xc skiers

House is perfectly located within walking distance of Hyak Sno Park and Summit east. What a treat for this family that usually has to yo-yo between xc and downhill venues. Beds are comfortable and house is roomy. Air hockey is a very pleasant novelty for the kids. Kitchen is pretty basic in terms of coolware but it did the truck. We would absolutely come again. cookwa

Decent stay

The house is decent, the furniture and house are pretty worn. The driveway is very steep even in the summer, especially when they don’t blow off the leaves, making it hard for tires to get traction. It’s very pricey for what it is but we had no other option.

Beautiful and cozy

This property was cozy and perfect for our large family and friends gathering. Being close to the snow tubing area was perfect. We loved all the windows the property provided. We especially loved the jetted tub in the bathroom. We all loved having hot chocolate on hand too. A few small touches could be made to make this place 100%- ensuring the doors lock, dusting and cleaning of the floors (although some of our cleaning fee was waived), updating the 2021 calendar on the wall, and instructions on using the gas fire place. Overall, we loved our stay!

Nice house, major maintenence issues

The house is nice, good location, close to the ski slopes. However when we checked in the house was not cleaned up, dirty sheets on the floor, dirty bathrooms and kitchen. The driveway was full snow and ice, nobody de-iced it before our arrival, it was a major safety issue, our car got stuck, we spent hours waiting for the plow truck to come and help. Basically we lost one day just waiting for the cleaning crew and trying to park our cars.

Would not return- Cannot recommend

Walking distance ski resort and sno-park, I guess. Bit of a hike. Ski in- ski out is quite a stretch. Roads & part of driveway had been plowed when we arrived. Driveway is a little steep and treacherous. Don't try it without AWD. Entry door is down a covered staircase. Entry code pad is difficult to find. Downstairs area (mudroom and game room) cold when we arrived. We were able to get them tolerably warm after a few hours. Foosball & air hockey tables work well and added to the fun of our stay. Main floor has nicely appointed living room, with a large TV that did not work for our entire stay. The WiFi didn't work for the entire stay either and despite promises that someone would come fix it on our second morning, no one ever showed. Kitchen is ample- reasonably well equipped. Dirty pans in the oven and the pots and pans are worn out and should be replaced. Dining area has seating for eight. Dirty sock & a blueberry left under table. Bedrooms on this level include king bed in one & two bunk beds in the other. Comfy beds and nice bedding except for gross stained pillow case on bunk beds. Full bath and laundry on main level. Gas grill was snowed in so don't plan on grilling in the winter.Upstairs- nice sitting loft with hide-a-bed, 2 bedrooms with queens. Queens were comfy. Full bath upstairs.I never spoke to a person before, during, or after our stay. I was able to text someone but their responses were not helpful. Overall, nowhere near good enough for the price.

Not worth it

When we got a survery abot cleanliness on check in I responded that it was fine. But that was really before we had some time to be in the space. through our trip we discovered the following: BBQ had both propane tanks that were empty, and no large BBQ utensils to work with such as flipper and tongs. They left it with aenought dishwasher detergent to run one load of dishes for a 4 bedroom house for 4 night stay. The outdoor to the property was not cleaned into dead animal bones on the back deck, cobwebs everywhere, and a driveway that was filled with tree debris. 3 days into our trip I asked my husband what was behind the couch cushion he moved and it was a navy womens bra... we left this exactly where we found it. One of the ceiling fans would not work, the bathroom door on the main level had a broken lock so you can open it form the outside when someone is in it. The blinds in that bathroom (that stare directly into another ersidences windows, Those blonds were broken and would not close or come down. We left the residence early because we were unhappy with the stay. One of the things that was also frustrating is that we had a very hard time communcaiting with Vacasa as we were in the mountains and the intenet and cell phones weren't working well. So trying to send them the pictures they were requesting took until I drove into town. Did they offer to reimburse us for filling the tanks ourselves.. sure did (we neded up purchasing another).

Loved it!

First, there is no laundry list of things to do before you check out. Definitely a plus! Nothing like spending 2 hours cleaning before ending a vacation. It is spacious with all of the necessities. The game room was a huge plus for the kids. Loved the huge entry room for all the gear. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location. Comfortable Home.

The best part of this home is that it is a short walk to the Summit East at Snoqualmie and the Hyak Snowpark. You can walk to the nordic ski center at Summit East, or East Peak chair in under 10 minutes if you cut through the utility parking lot across the street from the house. The house itself is comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything you would need. It was missing wine glasses and the knives could be sharper (this is one of my biggest pet peeves about rental houses, I now just bring my own knives and wine glasses). All the beds were comfortable. The internet worked. The ground floor (mudroom and game room) was VERY cold. The house is heated by in-wall heaters and a gas "fireplace/stove" on the main floor. It would be great if there was a working heater in the mudroom to keep boots and outer-clothing warm. We ended up bringing boots upstairs after they had dried off. Given that the house is so close to the ski mountain and cross country/nordic trails, it would be great if the mudroom had a ski rack, and more hooks for jackets, etc... Things you should know if going in the winter: The plowed parking area (which is separate from the longer driveway that goes to a garage and was not plowed) isn't particularly large, if you have two cars, one will have to park on the slope. The slope was icy, and I doubt anything but AWD/4WD would have been able to get out of it. Our second car parked parallel in the top of the driveway so as not to be in the street. There is a narrow set of covered and un-lit stairs from the parking area to the mudroom, and then you have to walk up stairs in the house to the main floor, so if stairs are a problem for you, be aware of this). The host was great, I asked for some more ice-melter and they dropped it off within hours. With a few thoughtful improvements (wine glasses, sharp knives, ski rack and working heater in the mudroom), and some minor maintenance (the door was a little hard to close and lock), this would be a 5 star winter get-away in my book.

Adequate for our needs

Clearly a rental property, the owners clearly had not seen the outdoor trash in the driveway that was awaiting our arrival. It appears that some folks have used this as a major party place, and it showed in certain ways.
