WOLFCROSS - Lakefront Retreat on Whitefish Chain - 5BR 4 Bath

Come make memories at WolfCross -our 4,044 SF spacious yet intimate, bright and contemporary home on Daggett Lake. It has been designed and appointed to host large families or groups of friends without ever feeling crowded, while providing multiple intimate gathering spaces both indoors and out. Have fun watching the activities from Adirondack chairs on the sandy beach. Paddle around in one of the three Kayaks or 2 SUP’s (which also have seat and paddle configuration for kayaking). Go jump onto the giant Lily Pad or swim around the weed free, sandy bottom lake shore. There are plenty of noodles and floating toys for everyone. Please note: During high season (June -August) there is a minimum night stay of 7 days. Saturday- Saturday. For exploring the town or quiet neighborhood-we have 4 adult bikes. Little ones can race up and down the long driveway on scooters, while others play pickle ball or croquet. Plus there are plenty of board games, and a shuffleboard table for indoor entertainment. Daggett lake is part of the Whitefish Chain, with access to the 14 lakes. After a great day on the water, relax on the expansive upper deck on a chaise lounge, or watch the sunset from comfy rocking chairs. Fire up the large Weber gas grill and enjoy dining alfresco on the outdoor table. The lower deck has plenty of room to gather around the gas fire pit, talking and making memories. The main floor’s vaulted spaces include a gourmet kitchen, barstools for six, a dining area for twelve, and fireside gathering in the great room for everyone. The loft has additional space to accommodate up to Maximum number of 16. There are three and a half spacious bathrooms with plenty of towels, hairdryers and toiletries. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of dinnerware, including outdoor sets of melamine dishes, cups, cutlery, glassware, silverware, baking dishes and serve ware for cooking & entertaining. Olive oil, spices, sugar & flour are also provided. During Fall and Winter months enjoy the changing of the leaves, great ice fishing, and fantastic cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Snowmobile trails are just yards away. Please note that the $99.00 insurance coverage selection on property will be required to cover damages to home -up to $5000.00.

Perfection in every way

Jane has thought of very detail a guest would want or need! We loved everything about this property. It was so clean and organized. The views were amazing from inside the house and outside especially at sunset time. The firepit was a favorite at every time of day! Nice to get off the lake and warm up by the fire. I felt Iike I was staying at a friends house with amazing serving dishes, cookware , appliances etc. There were plenty of beach towels and loved the bikes to go to the town square. We have stayed at many VRBO properties in lots of places and this was a top property for us. We have booked for next summer already!

We’ve had an annual family vacation week at Crosslake with our family for over 30 years, changing accommodations as our family grew. Wolf Cross is a wonderful location for our large group - now 3 generations. And the owners have thought of everything. Every Single Thing to make you feel at home. At home - only better.

Amazing spot!

Our family of 12 had an amazing week at Wolfcross. It was in a beautiful location on the lake. Our kids (age 10-18) spent hours swimming in the lake and fishing off the dock. We appreciate the care taken to remove weeds from the lake bottom. We also loved use of the kayaks, paddleboards and lily pad. The home was beautiful with comfortable beds and plenty of space for us to gather in a room or spread out. We all loved hanging out on the deck looking at the lake and enjoying the sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. We also appreciated having plenty of towels to use - including beach towels.

Excellent Location on the Lake

This is our 2nd year at this property. It is perfect for multiple families. It has great inside and outside areas! Wonderful area by the lake to swim or dock a boat.

Wonderful Wolfcross

Best Weekend of the Summer :)

My friends and I rented this cabin for Labor Day weekend & it was easily one of the best memories of the summer! Outstanding, beautiful property & cabin! Everyone slept comfortably with loads of space. The owners of this cabin have done a phenomenal job equipping the place with anything / everything you can think of (from things in the kitchen to games for outside). Also, renting and having access to the pontoon on site couldn't have been more appreciated and a seamless operation! Jane was awesome at answering all our questions previous to our stay and was quick to respond with any one off needs during our weekend. All around fantastic weekend and we made so many memories -- so thank you! :)

Our Favorite Location.

WolfCross is a perfect getaway in CrossLake, MN. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Our family loves spending time on the water, around the fire pit and on the deck watching the sunrise and sunset. House is perfectly laid out with plenty of room for everyone. House is described perfectly online. Jane was easy to communicate with. Perfect way to end our Summer!

EVERYTHING Included!

Not just a lovely home - the owner has thought of - and provided - absolutely everything you need to have a great Lake vacation. Paddleboards for moms and teens, bikes for teens to go shopping in nearby Crosslake, scooters and a stroller for littles, lily pad for swimmers. Wolfcross was the perfect place for our annual 3 generation Lake week. You just need to bring your pajamas and your swimsuit, go to town for groceries and you have everything you need for a great vacation.

Annual Family Vacation

Beautiful home with plenty of room for our larger group along with a awesome view from patio, fire pit, and deck. Owner very responsive and kind. Many amenities for pleasure and practicality during our stay. Also plenty of room for storing things, space for vehicles, and yard space for games. A Wonderful Spot

We enjoyed a wonderful week with our entire family at Wolfcross. 10 adults and 10 children, and everything was perfect! Jane is a terrific host and had the place in perfect shape for us. Boating was great, and fishing from the dock was outstanding - the kids had a blast. We'd love to return in the future.

Awesome property

This property fit our needs perfectly. The large table accommodated all 13 of us for meals. The nice weather allowed us to make use of the paddle boards, kayaks and lawn games that were provided. . Sitting around the firepit in the evening was the perfect ending.

Great home for sibling reunion

My five sibling and I spent 5 days at Jane's home. It was wonderful. Jane has every detail covered, well stocked kitchen, games, kayaks, bikes, fire pit and more. It was too cold for the kayaks, but we enjoyed everything else. Jane was very easy to communicate with. She responded to my messages very quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Carnatic house on Dagget Lake

Great property. We had a group of 10 and it’s hard to find space for everyone, but not so here. Plenty of room for all. I’ve been renting from VRBO for over 20 years and I’ve never stayed somewhere that was as well stocked as this place. Added bonus was the shuffleboard downstairs and the outside firepit fueled by propane. We could easily fit all 10 of us around it. I highly recommend it.

Dream Property

Our group size was cut in half due to covid. I was so sorry we couldn’t share this beautiful property with the rest of our family. This is a property would be perfect for a group that just landed in Minnesota from another state/country! All the appliances, yard games, towels, etc etc etc were provided. The house is beautifully decorated and games adorn the shelves and walls. I would absolutely stay here again if we had enough people. It’s a dream vacation home for sure!

Perfect family lake home!!!

Wolf Cross landing on Daggett Lake was a beautiful cabin on a Great Lake with a super responsive and accommodating owner. Our entire family cannot recommend this home as a vacation option enough! We were able to bring both our boat and our sons pontoon with great dock access and trailer parking. Super clean, wonderfully decorated and so very well stocked! A joy to stay at! We will stay again, no question.
