Brevard, NC. Private home located within the gates and private acreage of Connestee Falls, 20 minutes outside of downtown Brevard. Only 1 hour from downtown Asheville. You are 40 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, and 55 minutes to the gates of Biltmore Estate. You are also an easy 20 minutes from the DuPont National Forest and many other outdoor/recreational attractions. It is fairly easy to access the home, via only easy, paved roads. The home affords year round access to any and all vehicles.

Built in the tradition of Frank Lloyd Wright, all the details of this custom design are well thought out from the cobblestone driveway to the coffered 16 ft high ceiling in the great room, offset with a beautifully crafted stone fireplace. Professional landscaped grounds greet you & surround a covered entryway. The prairie style stained glass front doors open to lake views and a gracious living space. A large kitchen with custom cabinets and sitting room with more views creates a comfortable setting for guests. The large master suite is a lovely private getaway, there are 3 other bedrooms with ensuite full baths and a bunk room for the kids.

Red Fox Haven sits directly on Ticoa Lake, and affords easy access to the lake and dock with 3 kayaks, adding to the charm and character of this well-crafted home. With soaring vistas, high ceilings, vaulted spaces, exposed wood beams, eclectic decor, and hardwood floors, you will immediately feel at home at Red Fox Haven. (That is of course if you can tear yourself away from the views, sitting at the dock & soaking in the spectacle of the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking Ticoa Lake, & actually venture inside!) The great room, with stone fireplace, and fully equipped gourmet kitchen, is where everyone will want to gather to enjoy their time together inside the house, with plenty of space for all. You'll have hours of fun with the ping pong table in the terrace level. But, if you need some "alone time", there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity.
Kids love getting out in and around the Connestee Falls property, and labelled/mapped walking trails & explore the other rolling outdoor areas. (And of course swimming, kayaking or just soaking in the lake!)

While everyone enjoys the outdoor trails & more, you can pull up a chair and take in the view, (the long & short range views are spectacular!!), observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise on the glassy shore of Ticoa Lake.

Very peaceful and quiet lake with dock. Bike access to Walnut Hollow via dam gravel path means you can be out and riding in 10 minutes. Connestee Falls website for activities provides more details about the full amenities available to guests including 18 hole private golf course, pickleball, tennis, jogging path with workout stations, swimming pool, shuffleboard, and bocce ball. Besides your own private lake access & swimming, there is a park on Lake Atagahi with a wading pool in the lake sectioned off for smaller children, the park has playground equipment, bbq areas, as well as a large picnic facility which can be reserved for large parties. They also have a good restaurant in the clubhouse.

Connestee Falls affords world-class golf, and you are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! **An automatic fee of $150 (plus tax) is applied to every reservation for use of the community amenities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, all the lakes and parks and clubhouse. Golf is available with a fee. Dress Code will apply. The Wellness Center is NOT included and guests will not have access. There is a minimum of a 2 day lead time prior to check in to receive access passes to the community.

Quiet Policy: Please note that the home/estate property is located in a very private, quiet and exclusive neighborhood development.
Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

PETS: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby. NOTE: the owners of this home have EXTREME pet allergies; any violation of the NO pet policy will be met with fines, and/or expedited eviction.
