Wise industrial update on fashionable "warehouse style" apartment "Shower Rocks"
When staying in an "Artsy" town, some of the appeal is the energy of the city. Sometimes it's calm and other times there's a spontaneous buzz. This is part of why Flagstaff is special. Our downtown lofts are placed in the center of all of the action. Whether you want the best coffee around, or have a night in the town, San Francisco street has it all, within a few minute walking distance.
"Cool place, walking to everything, great host This is an eclectic place truly in the hustle and bustle. There is some noise at night from people and cars, but you are really within walking of so many great places. Host was incredible. Would stay here again."- Guest Review

We rented this space last year at the same time and it was perfect for our small family of 3. The heart of downtown is a short walk away. There are a couple of great coffee spots and a breakfast spot within one block as well.
The space we stayed in is on the 3rd floor and the 2nd floor was also rented. Just a note that if the people downstairs are in their kitchen, it is pretty easy to hear them.
Other people have mentioned being able to hear the traffic from Butler, but that didn't bother us at all. You can easily turn on a sound machine to drown it out.
There were more pots/pans this year than there were last year but if you like to cook and are planning on cooking while you are there, you might want to bring a mixing bowl or two. We also bring foil and sandwich bags.
Communication with the owner was easy and they always got back to us quickly.
Overall, another great stay!
Loved staying here! It was cozy yet quite spacious. Extremely clean with comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Location is amazing, all of downtown is walkable. And very kind hosts!
The house was great! Perfect for our weekend stay and easily walkable to downtown, great restaurants and breweries! The hosts were easily accessible by phone too.
Overall great experience. Could use a handrail going up the stairs to the apartment.

Needs some TLC
The inside of the unit was clean, but sparsely stocked in terms of linens and kitchen items. The outside needs some help. Poor parking spot left my car hanging out into the sidewalk. Entry to the property through the side gate which was not lit up at night and difficult to navigate. Yard was a terrible mess. The shabby deck had 4 old, dirty chairs and no table. The deck was also not lit, and is the point of entry to the unit. It made coming back to the unit at night scary
Proximity to downtown is great. Walking distance to everything.
We had 4 adults and a child from NAU that would stop by, we had room enough for everyone. The loft was clean and easy to find. We will stay here again.
This is a great space. Location was a short walk to everything. The place is as described and very clean. If you’re looking for a place near all of the action in downtown, you won’t go wrong with this place.
This was a decent place to stay. I chose it because it stated there was off street parking behind a gate...one car for each unit and it was close (walking distance) to everything we wanted to do while in flagstaff. It was clean and had enough room for myself and friends and indeed we were able to walk to everything downtown. We did have a few issues arise though. When we arrived there was no key for the gate to the parking area and for some reason there were 3 cars already parked behind the gate. I contacted the property owner and he made a call to the folks in the other unit to inform them they need to move their cars and allow us to park behind the gate as they had the only key for that gate, there should be multiple keys since there are multiple units. I got a call back and the owner advised me they refused to move any of the cars (2 of which shouldn't even be there) and that I should park out front next to the gate. This didn't look like a parking spot, but that's where we parked. So we were kind of off street but not really and that is a busy street. I feel the property manager didn't try hard enough to get them to move vehicles but it is what it is. We had the key to to walking gate only...I tried to not let this situation bother me and we had a good time, I just constantly looked out the window to make sure noone was messing with our vehicle and that noone went sliding in the snow with their car into ours at the busy intersection as there were 2 car accidents at the intersection while we were there. The other issue I ran into was in the kitchen there was a nail sticking out from the wood floor that ripped an expensive snowboard sock I was wearing at the time and scratched my foot a little bit (not bleeding). Luckily there was a floor rug and we just placed that over the nail for the remainder of our stay and made sure to wear slippers when walking around the apt incase there happened to be another Rouge nail. We had no other issues and enjoyed our time. It was clean, it was warm and that giant rain shower head in the extremely large shower was awesome. I can't give 5 stars for the issues we ran into but I'd say this is still a 4 star review.
Loved our stay here! It was very clean and sparingly decorated. Perfect if you’re clutter averse like us.
The location is amazing. We walked everywhere and there are lots of great eating/coffee spots within a couple of blocks.
Other reviewers had mentioned street noise which you will hear but it didn’t bother us. The only thing I will mention (which didn’t effect our stay) was the kitchen is sparingly stocked. We like to cook a few meals on vacation and and we struggled a bit with what was there. I only mention this for those families who also like to cook on vacation.
Lastly, the host was communicative and we had all the info we needed.
All in all, a great spot!
We had a sudden and unexpected need to stay in Flagstaff longer than expected, and this fit the bill! Cute attic apartment on the corner of a busy street, with NAU campus an easy walk in one direction and lovely downtown Flagstaff an easy walk in the other. There are stairs so may not be good for folks with mobility issues. A nice little shared deck with another unit. Shared laundry room. Humongous bathroom with a lovely rainfall shower. Road noise can be heard from bedrooms (a small price for such a prime location) so bring earplugs if a concern for you. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was a great communicator and fantastic about responding to any need we had.
We stayed in town while dropping off our daughter at NAU. Although the location was loud at night due to having our windows open (earplugs did the trick and/or closing the windows), we we perfectly located between the university and downtown. We were within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. The property manager was attentive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Charming place in a convenient location to NAU and all of the downtown shops and restaurants. Nicely updated and plenty of space for a comfortable stay. Hope to stay again!
The location of the property is exceptional. A very easy walk to town. However, the units are above a community center and there were homeless people (some of whom made a few comments to our family) who sat on the corner or on the front stoop all times of day. That made me uncomfortable allowing my 15-year old to go in / out on her own.
In addition, while our family shared both available units, I think it would have been awkward had it been someone unfamiliar to us as noise transfers easily between the upstairs and downstairs units. In fact, there is a small hole in the floor of the 2nd floor family room that looks right down into the 1st floor dining room.
However, the unit was clean and spacious. Though we didn't use them, all of the appliances appeared to be in working order.
The bathroom shower was AWESOME!
Easy walking distance to downtown. There's a sweet kava bar right across the street, and other great eateries within a quarter of a mile. We enjoyed this pretty, nicely remodeled and maintained apartment. Keep in mind there are 2 flights of stairs as this unit is the top floor of the building.
Two bedrooms right on main drag of downtown Flagstaff. I mean right there next to blocks of great restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Perfect launching spot for day trips to Grand Canyon, Sedona, Antelope Canyon and hiking around Flagstaff.
