The RV and Campground were both very clean and well-maintained for the most part. Our goal for the trip was to see how we would enjoy staying in an RV and determine how important the campground amenities would be to a pleasant stay. Our only concern about the RV turned out to be the toilet and whether it might have a seal leak that contributed a chemical smell. Since it was a small concern we did not inform the hosts during our stay. Our takeaway from the trip (which may be obvious to others) was that the RVing experience is closely tied to the campground environment(closeness of other RVs, landscaping, and the all important bath house.) For this trip both the RV and campground added to a pleasant and comfortable trip.
We brought the kids to the National Park and wanted something more than tent camping. We chose th RV and had a great time. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different.
We had a wonderful time staying in the Sightseer! Joni was more than accommodating in helping us find a spot at the campground. The camper was stocked with everything we needed, and then some!
We frequently tent camp, but it was soooo nice to not have to mess with all the packing and worrying about the weather. We brought a few things of our own, but found we didn't really need them. We will definitely book again in the future!
Camper was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Joni was very accommodating and got us a site right next to our group of friends. We had a wonderful stay and she is a great host.
My boyfriend and I really loved staying here! Check-in was easy, hosts were friendly, and the RV was super clean and comfortable. The campground was super nice and close to everything we wanted to do. We had lots of fun exploring Shenandoah :)
We had absolutely wonderful experience both with the RV and with the hosts. RV has everything you need, very clean and neat. Joni and her husband are amazing hosts, very responsive and accommodating. Wonderful opportunity to fully submerge yourself into nurture and yet stay in comfort.

Hosted by JONI LAM
Welcome! We are Duane and Joni Lam and we reside on a beautiful farm in the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Both us and their daughters, Berea and Kylee, love the outdoors which seemed to appropriately lead to our love of camping. Our two favorite camping spots are at Endless Caverns Campground (located very close to their home) and Gatewood Park Campground in Pulaski, Virginia; but we have returned recently from a family camping trip through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. We are also currently planning many road trip adventures including to Yellowstone National Park, Texas and other new destinations to our family.
Joni is also a high school Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and Duane works for the Department of Agriculture.
