The space
The full scope of this tiny home’s interior lies before you as you conveniently enter the home via self check in. Everything you need is here in one compact space, encompassing bedroom, living area, dining area, kitchenette with coffeemaker, small fridge, microwave, toaster – plus an adjoining private bathroom.
The twin trundle beds with new mattresses double as living-room seating. You’ll enjoy the warmth and ambience of the gas fireplace as you hang out or sleep in the house.
Refresh and rejuvenate in the bathroom with shower, sink, and composting toilet (NOTE: Running water is not available from October to April; drinking water is provided).
As petite as the tiny home is, you’ll find the expansive natural world and outdoor amenities as soon as you step outside. The gazebo next to the tiny home serves as an outdoor kitchen with small fridge, basic cookware, utensils, washing station, dining table, and gas BBQ grill. Stretch out on the loungers on the gazebo’s patio and take in the delightful view of the river. Experience mushroom picking and bird watching
For the ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation, delight in the gazebo’s 2-person hot tub (available June through August) and sauna. Make memories around the firepit.
And beyond the tiny home and gazebo? You’ll find endless recreation along 2 km of riverfront and a shared swimming raft, where you can swim, fish, splash, float, canoe, or just chill on loungers and watch the river flow. Tubes and fishing boat available, too! Those who love to fish will be in their glory fishing for brook trout from the creek.
Take a walk, hike, or ATV excursion on 3 km of woodland trails in the summer, and enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, snow-tubing, and cross-country skiing the private-property trails in the winter. Exult in your immersion in nature amid rolling hills and the winding river.

On the edge of the vacationland and endless natural beauty that is Muskoka, you’ll be close to lakes, rivers, and rolling hills, along with the charming village of Burk’s Falls and the Heritage River Trails along the curves of the Magnetawan River, and an easy drive (48.7 km) to Huntsville for great shopping and restaurants. The tiny home is close to Highway 11 (4-min drive), providing quick access for overnight stays. See Location tab for more.

Dreaming Bears Bench welcomes guests to the property and serves as the perfect Insta backdrop.
Free-range chickens live on the property and produce eggs that are available for purchase.
Cut, split, and seasoned firewood is available for purchase for the firepit.
The tiny home is heated with the gas fireplace and heat pump with A/C.
Should you wish to bring a larger group, you’ll find 3 additional spaces on the property available to book. Other guests may book these spaces during your stay and may share the swimming raft and trails; however, the spaces are far enough from the tiny home to ensure your full privacy. A cottage is visible from the Tiny Home and is 50 meters away, while a treehouse and trailer are far away from the tiny home.
No running water is available from November through April.

The roads into the property are well plowed but require good winter tires or all-wheel-drive to access the property during winter months because of steep hills. Another option is to stop at the entrance parking area, and host will transport you and your gear to the tiny home.
