WATERFRONT Completely Renovated Cozy Mid Century Rental Unit #4

*Completely renovated from top to bottom in 2021.* There are 4 units total, so if your entire family/friends are looking to be together, but in separate spaces, this could be perfect for you! From May 29 - September 18th, minimum SATURDAY - SATURDAY 7 DAY BOOKING REQUIRED.

Cozy up in one of our authentic Mid-Century efficiencies! They may be smaller, but they pack a BIG design. Built in the 1950's, each unit is approximately 400 sq. ft. and has been perfectly renovated in 2021 to incorporate 1 master with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a twin day bed and roll-out trundle, full bathroom, living room area with foldout sofa bed, and kitchenette. We lovingly renovated this building with all the modern amenities in mind, but we also love its original quirks & charm! Each efficiency is stocked full of items you just may need at your home away from home.

But size doesn't matter because with a location like this, you will love to spend most of your time exploring your surroundings! Our property sits on an acre with 400' of direct waterfront on the Indian River Bay. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely stunning, and the views from each efficiency will not disappoint. At any given time during the summer season, you'll see all the water-life activities just looking out your window - boating, fishing, kayaking, tubing, jet skiing, and more. Each efficiency has its own patio seating right outside the door, and make sure to bring your fun outdoor activities and games because the yard is there for you to use as well! If you're looking to go out on the water yourself, there is a public boat ramp less than 1 mile from us! It's peaceful living out here if you're looking for a quiet place to work or relax, but we also recommend having a good time at the popular Paradise Grill located just around the corner on the water or visiting downtown Lewes or Rehoboth Beach, which are just a short drive! You can shop tax-free at the outlets, visit the local beaches, or hop around enjoying all the local restaurants and bars.

Each unit is beautifully staged and equipped. If you prefer to bring your own linens/towels, please let us know and we will take those out of the unit. There are two designated parking spaces available per unit. If you have any other questions, please just send us a message!

*Please note, our primary home is also located on the property. Just like the efficiencies, we are excitedly renovating our 100-year-old farmhouse! Therefore, there may be renovation activity happening at any given time. We also live there and will have guests of our own. Our area is fenced off and private to us. Please respect our privacy. Guests can contact us from 7AM - 9PM via phone call/text, unless immediate emergency.

*All guests agree to sign liability of waiver upon renting due to location of being on the water.

Perfect, cozy, and like home. Owners are wonderful.
The units are wonderful. Adorably decorated with all the comforts of home. Brynn was so sweet and kind during our stay. She truly went above and beyond to bring happiness to our time there. The views of the bay were so relaxing. We enjoyed getting up in the morning to sit while our son played in the yard and ending the nights there as well while he played. Drives to the beach we’re not bad and we loved being perfectly positioned to go either way. The town had many great restaurants. This rental is definitely saved to my board for the future. Thank you again Brynn and Richard for having us!

Richard and Brin did a fantastic job renovating these units,. There are a few things that we would suggest they add, hooks or bar for face cloth and towel as they are used. Serious thought should be given to removing tubs and having just a shower , the bathrooms space is slight and very awkward when getting out of the tub after showering. Anyone larger than a size 8/10 really has to struggle when using anything but the sink. Otherwise this is a splendid summer retreat for a couple.

We're just high school sweethearts, who have been together 16+ years now, renovating our dream home on the Indian River Bay. We live here with our three labradors, who LOVE the water as much as we do! Richard and I were born and raised in Sussex County, and now own several local businesses in the area. One of our greater passions is buying and restoring early homes. Our latest project includes our current personal home and the awesome Mid Century building that came with it! We have spent the last 2.5 years renovating the building, so that others can enjoy our same view and surroundings! We're happy to welcome you as part of our journey <3

What makes this property unique

This property is so unique, sitting on a large point of the Indian River Bay. As real estate is booming in today's market, there isn't often a chance to purchase a property as charming as ours with over 400 feet of direct waterfront. We love our location, the short distance to the public boat ramp, that can offer so much fun on the water! Cruise to the sandbar, visit local restaurants and bars, or enjoy fishing/tubing/jet skiing and more. It's also a peaceful location that is away from the direct hustle and bustle, but a short drive should you want to mingle with the locals.
