Three bedroom cozy cottage perfect for relaxing! Located in Cadillac Michigan home to four seasons of fun. Swimming, boating, biking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling it’s all right here! The Cottage is a completely updated vintage cottage located just across the street from Lake Mitchell. The Cottage will sleep 6 comfortably. Fenced in backyard with grill, picnic table and fire pit. Two kayaks and two bicycles are available for your use while here. Boat launch just under a mile away. Swimming beaches 5 min drive. We would love to have you as our guests!

Comfortable weekend rental

We were in town for family wedding. Enjoyed spending mornings in the backyard. Our 11yo loved the bikes until he purchased his own at a local garage sale! Would recommend! Everything needed for a weekend in Cadillac.

First stay at a VRBO, and we liked it

Having never stayed in a VRBO before, we came in not fully knowing what to expect, but this worked out perfectly for our situation. We were in town for our family's 31st annual golf outing. We used the cottage for my wife and I, my brother, and our 86-year-old father. We had plenty of space for all of us, slept very comfortably and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, a full day of rain on Saturday wiped out one of our two days of golf, but it was still a fun weekend. We had no problems with getting in and out, as the instructions were very clear. The only thing I struggled with was the TV. We had millions of choices of things to stream, but could not get logged in to watch live network TV. I was really looking forward to watching the Stanley Cup game, but having never used my Xfinity away from home, could not figure out how to log in from the cottage. We found plenty to watch instead.

Cottage by Lakes

Cottage was very nice. It worked out great for our family vacation. We had a fire in the backyard in the fire pit. It allowed us to make some s’mores. Enjoyed both Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac. Close to the lakes and downtown. I believe the cottage has well water which has a strong smell then city water. If you don’t like well water bring water to drink. Overall great cottage and nice location.

Cozy Little Cottage

The cottage was great! Had everything we needed-kitchen had pots & pans, plates & utensils, towels, paper towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo & conditioner. Beds comfortable, bikes & kayaks in good condition, biked around Lake Cadillac and kayaked in Lake Mitchell. Firewood available down the road about a mile. Worked well for six of us! Great communication!

Cozy and comfy

We overall loved the home! Beautiful location and responsive owners. Everything we needed was well stocked. The checkout process was so easy. The water does smell and taste weird, but the owner assured me it was normal.

Nice vacation spot

We enjoyed the time at this vacation home. We used the bikes that are included with the rental several times. Cadillac has some nice places and it is close to other wonderful places. Great place for a relaxing vacation.

Golf trip

Our property owner was very accommodating with our plans. The cottage had everything we needed and was very easy to get to. Should we be staying in the area again this would be a property we would definitely stay at again.

Just an OK cottage.

Did not feel like a cozy cabin, common amenities were lacking. Too many trip hazards for older adults. The water smells and taste bad. Main bedroom has no nightstand for C-pap machine and carpeting is dirty. No wood for the bonfire. Could not use bike as the tires were flat. Special touches are needed to make this cottage feel like a home away from home. Would not recommend.

We are raising our family here in Cadillac and love all that the area has to offer! We purchased The Cottage to share this awesome area with others.
We love to stay in short term/vacation rentals when we travel for the ease and space they offer! Especially with our family of 7! We tried to make The Cottage simple and relaxing so that visitors can enjoy their time away.

We love the layout of The Cottage! Everything is easily accessible. The back yard is great for a quiet walk in the woods and the lake neighborhood makes you feel like you’re on vacation just driving to The Cottage!
