This home has everything you need for a wonderful stay, any season. Updated and very chic, the home has a full kitchen, living room with wood burning stove, dining table. First room has a single over full bunk bed, second has a queen, loft has a queen bed. Two full bathrooms. Washer/dryer. Small deck with seating and a grill. Large back yard so if you are trailering a boat, jet skis or snowmobiles, plenty of room to park in the acreage at the back of the home. Short way into downtown Boyne City and Lake Charlevoix. Located easy drive to East Jordan, Petosky and Charlevoix. We look forward to hosting you at this Boyne City hideaway at the end of a quiet street.

Poor Experience

Lots of things went wrong during our stay. The freezer leaked, washing machine was moldy, dryer was filled with sand, dining chairs were loose, no porch light, bottom bunk bed was caved in when we arrived and ending up falling to the floor in the middle of the night. Had to put a case of water under the bed so we could sleep for one more night. I told the host and he had an excuse for every problem and was frustrated that he has a bed to fix now. None of these issues were our fault. Obviously things have been an issue but no one ever reported them. Place was dirty and not properly taken care/maintained. Paid an arm and a leg…not worth it.

Poor experience and pest issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not recommend. The home is not well cared for and there is a major lack of attention to detail for a vacation rental property. Mice and bugs in the property, including cockroaches. Upon arrival there was a trash can full from the previous guests, mouse attractant gel was left in the welcome basket where they keep information about the rental property, lightbulbs out, the smoke detectors went off in middle of the night due to old batteries only a few days into our stay, just to name a few. Furnishings, cleanliness, maintenance, and pest control could all be improved in this vacation property. Very small accommodations as well and though it says it sleeps 9, I would not recommend more than 2. Don’t forget to bring your own mouse traps! The property management said they would not supply.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for ten [10] from mid-January thru mid-March due to its proximity to the three [3] ski areas we ski the most in MI. The property description was very accurate. The house was well supplied with our daily needs for the first few days after our arrival. The property was well maintained and the plow service was typically there within six [6] hours of any significant snow fall. We only had one question during our stay and that Wass answered within an hour of our asking. We would highly recommend this property for future stays in the Boyne City area.

We have stayed on this property for several winter seasons now and each year the property has been better than the last visit! This is the perfect size for us and also big enough to have the occasion guests stop by and enjoy a weekend in the Boyne City area. The property description is very accurate and always clean and well stocked to start our vacation experience. The property manager is always available via cellphone phone to address any questions that may come up. Boyne City area has several nice restaurants which are only minutes from the property, plus there is ample opportunities to ski and enjoy winter in any of the three ski areas within a short drive of this location. We have recommended this property to our friends and family for their stays in the area.This has been an outstanding experience and we look forward to our next stay in the Boyne City in 2024!

Reviewer Comments: Super disipointed,when we walked into the house it was musty smelling,and as you walk into the master you can see why,it had water damage and it was moldy musty smelling,it's not unacceptable for a vacation rental to have this and even worse we went notified about this prior to arrival,also the shower had hard water stain again unacceptable for a high end rental,the manager said we could change to a differnt house,which we would of before if we knew about this issue,the floor was in bad shape it needs to be replaced as well

Lovely location for families with pets

Cute house with a big lot, wonderful deck, on a non-busy street safe for walking the dogs! But is also walking distance or very short drive to the beach and downtown. Management is very responsive. No cable, so you need to have streaming subscriptions. Sleeping 5 adults comfortably and kitchen is adequately stocked if you like to cook.
