About this property

Hello current and future renters!!

We have a main cabin and bunkhouse. Our lake lot has 100 frontage feet with a sandy beach, level lot, dock, and swimming area. It’s an end lot with lots of privacy. Enjoy the lake activities but also the bonfire pit, deck, picnic table, and inside TV.

Cabin and bunkhouse are both with an open layout, clean and comfortable spaces. It’s very peaceful and tranquil. Ideal location to Perham with its own small-town apparel boutiques, ice cream shops, bookstores, eateries, and a premiere golf course.

*May thru Sept rental rates may vary for the space needed. Please specify if you need the main cabin only OR main cabin + bunkhouse during your stay.

For those renting a pontoon, we recommend one with sea legs. We have referrals too!

***Big Pine Lake is one of the best walleye fishing lakes in the state.

Nice cabin(s) right on the lake

This is a nice place right on the lake. Both cabins were clean and the main cabin had what we needed to cook etc. The bunkhouse actually has more open space than the main cabin, this is where we would gather (there were 9 of us). There is enough room to play games in the yard, which is flat; also a plus. Dock area was very shallow but we did get a pontoon and fishing boat to the side dock. All in all it was a nice stay.

Lake vacation

Very clean and great flat property. We were able to make the best of the lake even though very shallow in front of cabin. We caught quite a few fish through out the week. Found ways around the shallow waters to enjoy swimming and other water activities. Nice to have the extra space with the cabin and bunk house. Able to have a fire every night.

Cabin on Big Pine Lake

Our stay was enjoyable as far as the facilities - clean and user friendly. Extra bunk house was very convenient. It is understandable that the water level was not the owner's fault but was still disappointing that we were unable to use the docks for our boats.

Perfect cabin feel with wonderful yard!

We enjoyed our stay during July 2023. We utilized the cabin and bunk house, both were super clean and cozy. Even with some cooler weather for July, we enjoyed the yard and the fire pit area out of the wind. The yard was big and level - perfect for little ones to play! We loved that there were multiple places to relax - the deck, patio, water and fire pit. The water levels were extremely low due to the last few drought years so it was difficult to utilize our pontoon, but that didn’t take away from our trip. Overall we were very happy with our time out there, wonderful communication with Tiffany and would recommend this as a great value for the rate!

Big Time fun at Big Pine Lake

Once again we enjoyed ourselves at the cabin and in the towns of Perham and Detroit Lakes. The lake water was really low this year but the fishing was still good. We had eleven family and friends for the week with no issues. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles and 2 boat/ jet ski trailers.

Lovely

Wonderful location. Lots of room for the kids to roam and play. Great deck, patio, and fire pit area. Lovely, huge maple tree to hang out under when it got hot. Caught lots of fish on Big Pine for a Friday night fish fry. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Book this place!

Great lake location

Our aecond stay here as this spot is great for groups wanting to enjoy the lake and have a quiet area. We used both the cabin and bunkhouse during our stay. We were able to bring both our boat and pontoon up to the dock, but it is quite shallow. Clean, relaxing place and helpful hosts!

The best little getaway spot

My large family stayed in both the bunkhouse and cabin. Both were clean and cozy. The beautiful lake was awesome to wake up to. The hosts were pleasant and responsive to any questions. The only thing I would add is a couple of dressers. Over all 10 out of 10

Great property on Big Pine Lake.

We had a great stay at this beautiful newly remodeled property, despite the cooler weather. The property has everything you would need for a great wk at the lake. Tiffany was easy & quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Relaxing

We last minute were able to get this cabin for 2 nights. Owners very quick with responding and flexible with dates as we only were able to do 2 nights vs the 5 night minimum. Beautiful cabin with everything you'd need. The view from the deck is perfection. We were not able to fish due to weather being too windy, so most of our time was spent on the deck/patio.

Big Fun On Big Pine Lake

Extremely fortunate to stay here after our plans changed due to high water 30 miles away. Wonderful property with plenty of room for 12 adults to spread out.

Great place and location!

We rented the cabin for the week and the bunkhouse for the days additional family were staying. The place was clean, quiet and was great for the kids ages 1 to 8; they could roam around the private location and enjoy the shallow area of the lake. We loved watching the eagles fishing and eating their breakfast on the sandbar outside the front window and deck. Owners Tiffany and Aaron we ready and available for any questions we may have had. We hope to be back next year!

Nice cabin on the water

We had a great time staying at this property! Nice set up fir our family with the main cabin and bunkhouse. Enjoyed watching the kids play in the sand from the deck! Fishing was decent for July with lots of crappies and walleyes! Owners were east to keep in contact with and available for any questions.

Great stay at Big Pine

We enjoyed our stay at Big Pine lake. Owners, Aaron and Tiffany were very responsive to problem with AC in main cabin and bunkhouse. Neighbors were very nice and helpful. Both were very clean and remodel was very nice. Nice outdoor deck and patio. Plenty of seating in both areas. Nicely furnished. In main cabin need for more room to store clothes. Washer and dryer conveniently located in bedroom. Overall we had a great stay at the lake.
