Beautifully themed; this private, spa-like, pet-friendly mountain retreat has been completely renovated and is ready for your Pocono Mountain getaway! Perfect for family getaway, friendly gatherings, girls-trips, and romantic getaways. All essentials are provided, even firewood. Come relax by the wood burning fireplace and enjoy a soak in the hot tub.

Cabin Crunch is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, private single family home, that sleeps up to 8 adults, and pets are welcome (2 dogs max - cleaning fee is additional). The cabin was specifically designed to provide all of the comforts of home so that our guests can focus on what matters most to them. When it comes to essentials, we've got you covered. If you don't see something within our listing that you might need - just ask!

Cabin Crunch has all new furnishings, new memory foam mattresses, fresh linens, 4K streaming TVs in all bedrooms and the living room, High-Speed Wi-Fi (1G), central A/C and heating, indoor wood burning fireplace, dual monitor workstation (working from home), new outdoor 6 person jetted hot tub, gazebo covered deck with table & chairs, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, hammock, extra large picnic table (seats up to 8), a propane grill, and is centrally located to all activities in charming town of Lake Harmony! Great care was taken in updating this home with every modern convenience and comfort so that you and your family/friends can relax during your mountain getaway.

We're located in the picturesque town of Split Rock within Lake Harmony on Big Bolder Ski Mountain. There are countless activities available in the immediate area for your family to enjoy. Right within our town there is skiing/snowboarding/tubing (~5 min ride), golfing (~3 min drive), lake (~5 minute walk for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, boat rentals available right on the lake), hiking (just walk out the front door), biking, ATV, many great restaurants (some right on the lake), indoor water park (~4 minute drive), bowling, movies, parks/sports for kids...all within minutes, and the list goes on. The Pocono Raceway NASCAR is a 12 minute drive, and the historic town of Jim Thorpe is just a 25 minute ride. While staying at Cabin Crunch you will be surrounded by nature & wildlife, and you can explore nearby waterfalls and State Parks. After a day full of actives, you can relax with a soak in the hot tub, and unwind by the indoor wood-burning fireplace (or outdoor firepit).

Essentials included with your stay: freshly cleaned bed linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, soaps (body, dish soap, and dishwashing pods), shampoo/conditioner, vinegars, oils, spices, various flavored teas, firewood, and cleaning supplies are all provided at no additional cost. Again...our goal is to take the worry out of your vacation. Simply pack your bags and head to the mountains!

The home was beautiful decorated and well equipped with all that we needed. It was as described. The host was easy to contact and let us know when someone was coming that did not impact us at all. The hot tub was first class and our highlight was our 4 legged visitors who visited us morning and evening (deer-not bears) A+ rating!

Party of Five Getaway
Our family enjoyed our first trip to the Pocono Mountains with a weekend getaway to Cabin Crunch. The house was perfect- decorated so nicely and fully equipped. The location was great and the hot tub was a nice touch. Our dog loved being a part of this little getaway as well! The hosts were fantastic - from check in to check out the communication was great! Looking forward to visiting again during the winter months.

Simply amazing!
What a dream it was staying at cabin crunch. John was a pleasure to speak to, and very quick to reply with any questions I had. The house was exactly like the pictures shown. Such a cozy and welcoming feel! The property outside is amazing, especially the hot tub. The location is perfect to the lake. I was in complete shock just driving to the house with how beautiful it was. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this property!

Cabin + Crunch = R&R
Cabin Crunch was the perfect getaway for our family. We got some much needed rest and relaxation with some wonderful wildlife adventures. We had everything we could possibly need and the extra touches to allow our dog to join us, made us feel right at home. We enjoyed our time in Lake Harmony and loved seeing another part of Pennsylvania we had yet to explore!

Cabin Crunch Cozy Updated Comfort!
My husband and I were coming to the Poconos for our 6th Anniversary trip. Cabin Crunch in Lake Harmony was conveniently located to everything we wanted to visit! (Bushkill Falls, Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run State Park, Dingmans Falls, Camelback Mountain Resort) John the host messaged us before our stay informing us that due to a heat wave, their central AC was malfunctioning but they had installed window units to ensure our comfort. Upon arrival the cabin was properly cooled and just as advertised..cozy updated comfort. John checked kn on us multiple times to ensure we were comfortable dueing our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring the region. The back patio was perfect place to enjoy our coffe each morning and get a visit from a family of deer. Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Cabin Crunch! The house was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities! We didn’t have a chance to use the fire pit but wish we had, the set up is so cozy. The community is easy to get to, very quiet, and home to a lot of wildlife the kids enjoyed seeing. Would stay again!

Wonderful Stay
The home is beautifully and tastfully decorated! I loved all of their design choices. The couches were very comfortable and I loved the decorative pillows! Adorable. The owners stocked the home with thoughtful items , such as cookie mix, shampoo and bar soap abd soft towels, which definitely gave it a homey feeling. The kitchen had everything anyone would need to cook. The manual they left was most helpful. The inside of the home was spotless however, more care should have been taken to the outside patio area particularly the glass table. We enjoyed the location of this home in a residential area , close to the lake. We would stay here again

Cabin Comfortable
Family of 6 and a pup enjoyed a 2 night stay to enjoy local ski mountains. This little gem was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub after the slopes. Extremely clean...Easy check in. Much closer to other properties than photos depicted.
Check-in was seemless. Cabin was immaculate and showers were relaxing. Only have 2 concerns: mattresses were not as advertised in Master Bedrooms, and the chlorine content made us nauseous and bleached my bathing suit. I undertsand the need for cleanliness with covid, but as years of experience as a pool manager, the odor of chlorine was overpowering and unhealthy.

Absolutely Excellent!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation as a family of 3 (and fur baby too!) The house was very cozy and wonderfully decorated. We were extremely impressed by how clean and stocked it was too. You can tell a lot of time and love went into planning each detail. We felt very much “at home”! The location/neighborhood was great. John was an exceptional host, very responsive and even accommodated an early check in for us which made traveling with a baby much easier. Would definitely recommend/visit again!

Beautiful cabin and stay!!
Perfect cabin! We came to town for a birthday getaway with our 5 year old son and our dog. This cabin was everything we were looking for! Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, TVs in every room, close proximity to Lake Harmony & the restaurants, and we loved having the fire pit for s’mores at night. Thank you John, we will definitely be coming back!

Great Family Time
As with all the other reviews I have to say the house is super well decorated. You are instantly cozy. The location has a campground feel with all the luxury of being in a house. The couches and beds are comfy. The walk to split rock was very cool. The hot tub was excellent. The surrounding food options are a little lackluster but it’s hard to compare to outstanding food in NJ. I would not miss Bushkill falls. It was an hour away but worth it. The falls at the nearby state park we’re pretty too. I was not clear that we would not have access to the split rock amenities but it was no big deal because the state park was 20 minutes away and there was plenty to do. Don’t forget to stop by Jim Thorpe. Thanks to our host for supplying many items to make us feel at home. We cannot wait to come back in the fall.

Great Place!
We came to PA to finally bury my grandma next to my grandpa. My mother is in wheelchair & I needed to find her a place that was accessible. This place was perfect. John was so wonderful to take measurements so I could make sure her chair would fit through the doors. He was very responsive. And the cabin was adorable & had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the hot tub & the backyard. If I ever get back up there, I would chose this cabin again.

Great family getaway
Cabin Crunch is special! So much attention to detail. The home is designed very well. Clean, and stocked with many items to make your stay convenient. (Soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent to wash your clothes. Plenty of towels and many spices, oils & pots and dishes) the hot tub was AMAZING! The bunk bed room was a hit with our girls! The location was very woodsy but not private. You have neighbors all around. It’s a community. Not a deal breaker for me but my husband would have preferred a more secluded location. Not a problem but wanted to share, because we thought it would be more remote. But the community is quiet and the local restaurants were great! We also went to Boulder Field and it was amazing! John was a great host. Very attentive. Everything went smoothly. I recommend Cabin Crunch.

A perfect place for a quiet cozy winter weekend. Did some hiking during the day and enjoyed cocktails by the wood burning fireplace at night. Love the decor and the house was spotless. Excited to come back in the summer/fall.

So comfortable!
Everything was considered and provided for. We lacked only a brownie pan (which I’m sure John will remedy promptly!). We arrived in a snowstorm and the temps never did get up to the double digits during our stay, which made the hiking I had planned not so appealing. The house is in a lovely gated community, but I thought it would be more remote by the listing. Beautiful place to stay.

The house was extremely nice and cozy. Smelled amazing when we first arrived.
My wife, friends and I had a blast at Cabin Crunch. The hot tub was a blast in the cooler fall days. As well as the indoor fire place. We definitely will be returning in the future.

Lovely Cabin
Cabin Crunch is an updated cabin with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very nicely decorated with beds and furniture that are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. It was great being able to bring our dogs. I would definately stay again.

A Pocono spa-like oasis
This is an amazingly lovely home. I never wanted to leave. It feels like a spa with all the touches added. The decor is beautiful and it feels like the owners thought of everything. It is clear much thought and effort went into every special touch. We did enjoy very much the hot tub, the lovely patio, the fire pit, the comfortable leather couches and even the “smallest touches” like the aromatherapy diffusers and salt lamps. All towels and linens were generously supplied (recommended by owners to bring towels for hot tub and that was brilliant). Kitchen was well-appointed with a one cup and pot combined coffee maker (my husband loves his coffee). We had family staying nearby and some of our family staying with us as “overflow” and all commented on how great the place was. There was plenty of outdoor seating with the picnic table and the patio table. My nephew and niece loved the hammock and I got in there too for a quick read and nap. The cafe lights provide just the right ambience for the yard too. My father is wheelchair-bound and we brought him and the family over for a cookout. It was easy access for him and for us with a concrete pad right out front and we could bring him right through to the house to the patio. If you have ever dealt with wheelchairs or walkers, you know how critical that is as gravel can be difficult to navigate. Lots of wildlife to be viewed from the yard (even a bear so be sure trash is secured—we did so we got to see him/her foraging in rocks for bees possibly—and the home has very secure trash containers outside). John was very communicative and responsive. We didn’t have any issues or questions that were not responded to immediately and quite frankly, there were no real issues to be addressed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and was sad to leave our little oasis, Cabin Crunch. Melissa and Dave

Hello! We purchased our mountain cabin in Dec 2020 and have since completely renovated the property. We had SO MUCH FUN and thoroughly enjoyed the process of renovating and decorating Cabin Crunch! We set out to create a place that fit right into it's environment, and hoped to spark joy, interest and an appreciation of nature - in kids both young and old. There's even a secret theme built into our design (can you guess?). It really has been such a pleasure to share it with others, and we love hearing the stories of our guests adventures, and learning what they enjoyed the most during their stay.

We love most about the space? It's peaceful and cozy, and there's lots and lots of wildlife. You'll regularly see bears, deer walking by every morning and peacefully grazing throughout the (they will literally eat right out of your hand - please be mindful of what you feed them). We also enjoy the privacy and quite lifestyle that the cabin provides. We still enjoy getting away and heading to the cabin to unwind whenever, and as much as possible.

We hope that you and your family will enjoy the space as much as we do!
