My husband and I loved our getaway to Beaufort and this place was the perfect location to all the restaurants and activities we planned. It’s walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and museums. It was very cute and well kept home. We would love to stay again.
I would stay at the house again. Beds were very comfortable, house was so cute and close to everything downtown! Easy to walk everywhere. We had no issue with parking either. Only feedback is that the living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable, and the kitchen is small (mini fridge). If you’re going for a short trip though it’s perfect!
While furnishing were not as shown in the pictures (living room) was very uncomfortable. No kitchen which seemed implied. Beds were wonderful and comfortable. Loved that we could walk everywhere in the historic district.
This cottage is the perfect location to enjoy downtown and the surrounding area. It is only 2 blocks from the main downtown area and an easy walk. It is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. My only recommendation is to replace the mattresses and the couch . They are not supportive enough for those of us with bad backs and the couch was not comfortable. That being said I still highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful stay.
This cute bungalow is ideal for people who are really looking for accommodations similar to a 5-star hotel. However, it does not suit the needs for those who really need a house. The food prep area did offer basic supplies, but the lack of a full size frig and some type of a real cooking range is usually expected for a house. The sitting space in the backyard has been totally neglected and the wrought iron furniture was suffering from severe erosion. The front yard was still waiting for it's spring trim and removal of weeds. The remaining portions of the house appeared to be "newly" renovated and were decorated with innovative creative taste.
Perfect for couples or a small family. nice clean 2 bedroom 1 and half baths. comes with small Fridge, microwave and small sink. located in historical Beaufort, lovely views, walking distance from downtown and Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. Close to beaches. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star, there is no place to park on the property. (Shared parking on the street.)
We came to Beaufort for our annual boat trip with another couple and the house was perfect. It is a block walk from all the shops and restaurants which was ideal. Incredibly comfortable, well decorated, And each couple essentially had a master suite. Wonderful trip and we will book again!
Extremely clean, quaint, and inviting in a great great location.
The property is walking distance to all the downtown shops and great restaurants. If you are looking for a hilarious or unique gift make sure you check out Lulu Burgess shop!
The home itself while small is beautifully decorated and relaxing. It has a cute patio off the back. Unfortunately it is in desperate need of some sprucing up. A good pressure washing with new comfortable patio furniture would make this place perfect!
Relaxing, comfortable cottage that is very accessible to the downtown area
We loved the location of the cottage, it was very clean upon our arrival. Plenty of space to be together and alone when needed. We were disappointed that the lawn had not been cut and the grass was literally knee high in the front yard. This took away from the cuteness of the cottage and left you with a feeling of abandonment when you approached it. Otherwise we had a great time and would return in the future.
Overall the place was well maintained, clean, and centrally located to downtown, and Paris Island. We were there for USMC boot camp graduation and spent most of our time on base. We booked the property for a place to sleep and it worked out very well. I would not recommend it for more than that. Small kitchen, fridge, and spaces would make more than a sleep spot difficult for more than two people.
