This place was perfect to have a low key birthday getaway. We sat in the deck, used the fire pit, spent hours in the river via stair access, and all slept very well. Grill didn’t seem usable and the stairs were

November Get a way

My husband and I were visiting relatives and deer hunting on the family farm. We stayed 6 nights. The view was spectacular and right on Current river. Beautiful living room and kitchen. The Host was very responsive. Upon checking in there was no remote for bedroom TV. The host immediately responded with a remote within a couple of hours! The house is At the end of a gravel road and very private. Perfect for us!

good accomodations for short stay however, NO COFFEE! provided ... that should be a crime ... nonetheless, enjoyed the deck and the grill overlooking the river.

Best vacation spot!

Absolutely the best place to stay on the Current. Nice and peaceful with a great place to get in the river and swim or launch the kayaks. House was so clean and well kept. The views were beyond belief from the deck. Highly recommend!!

Family visit

The PERFECT place to catch up with family and enjoy the river! Looks just as it does in the photos with a very nice and safe cove for younger kids to play in the river with life jackets on.

Lovely setting on Current River

Beautiful setting on Current River, plenty of room, no significant stairs to deal with if you are compromised, someone was available to assist with connecting to Wifi and television issues.

We had a wonderful stay! Current river is beautiful. Cabin was perfect. Owners communicated with us during stay. The best was 3 days floating the current.

This was a great house in the water. We came down for the poker run it was very nice and had it's own ramp to launch boats. The house was clean and very comfortable.

Relaxing

The location is at the end of the road, so the only traffic is an occasional boat. Being at the river is just relaxing. The bed and couches were also lovely. Wish I could have spent more time in the house and with family at the property. Maybe next trip. And the owner was absolutely amazing at answering my questions and responding very quickly!! Thank You

Beautiful Views

The property was tucked away at the end of a country road, right on the river. The inside was serviceable but in need of some love. There were cob webs on the ceiling with gnats stuck in them. The top of the master bathroom shower door frame is not attached to anything. The bunk room didn’t have any type of railing to keep children from falling out of bed and it was dirty and stank. We left that door open while our children used the bottom bunk and moved the top bunk mattress to the floor. It work well for our group of 7. Plenty of things to cook with. Plenty of blankets and towels. Just an older property and while we were there in the beginning of August, 2023, it had a for sale sign up. Don’t see this property being on VRBO for long.

Relaxing retreat!

Cabin looks just like pictures. We had 7 adults in our group and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. Cabin was fully furnished and clean. We enjoyed the deck area. Very relaxing just sitting and watching the boaters on the river. We floated one day through KC’s on the Current. We can’t wait to book again.

Perfect location right on the river.

It was perfect! Loved how it was on the end of the lane so it was quiet and didn’t have to worry about people driving by. Wry peaceful being right on the water and the owners were able to provide us suggestions on where to eat and where to rent tubes.

Owner was very helpful with kayak trip planning and very quick responses with any questions I had. House was perfect for our group. Very memorable trip for our sons senior trip with friends.
