Beautiful Waterfront Cabin on Lake Shamineau

Enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Lake Shamineau, one of Minnesota’s clearest lakes, at this private cabin. Located right on the lake’s edge, this is the perfect getaway for small groups, families, and solo retreats. With no shortage of activities, such as swimming from the sandy beach area, fishing from the dock, or just relaxing and enjoying the vast amounts of wildlife, this is sure to be a memorable experience.
Located 1 hour from St. Cloud, 2 hours from Minneapolis, this cabin is just far away enough to feel like a true getaway, but is still a short drive from charming small towns, great restaurants, waterparks, golf, Crow Wing State Park, and many other great activities.

During your stay, you’ll be provided with a fully stocked kitchen, bath/ beach towels, and bed linens and have access to a wide variety of games/puzzles, and high speed internet. Outdoors we have two kayaks, a canoe, a fire pit, and a gas grill provided for you to fully enjoy the outdoors.

Our cabin has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one bath, a fully stocked kitchen with stove/ fridge/ microwave/ coffee and a center island to enjoy while cooking meals or playing games. The open living space has a fireplace, a comfortable futon for extra guests, dining table, smart TV, and bookshelf filled with games and books. Right off the living space, the sliding glass door provides access to the screened in porch and outdoor patio.

Note: There is one Ring® video security camera in the front of the property viewing towards the road which remains on at all times. There are no other cameras on the premises.

The lake is experiencing higher than usual water levels. An extra close eye on small children is necessary as shoreline is extremely close to cabin.

Great location
The location is great. Can’t get closer to the water if you tried. Parking is the only negative especially if you bring a boat and trailer. Overall a very nice place.

Relaxing getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay overall. The cabin is so cute, cozy, clean and modern. Very peaceful and relaxing listening to the loons and waves of the lake. The location right on the point is amazing. We have never stayed in a cabin that was this close to the shoreline. It was pretty cool! Thanks for an amazing stay!

What an adorable cabin! It is a perfect place to enjoy our beautiful State. Loved all the loons, the lake, the screened in porch, the campfires and the star gazing. Delightful stay on Lake Shamineau
We were looking for a place that was fresh and comfortable for our 84 year old mother and good access to the lake for us "kids" for our week at the lake. We didn't want to leave! The screened in porch is heavenly with the northwest breeze blowing in. Lots of loons calling and stopping by. It was great to have the kayaks. They were put to good use. We had everything we needed for a fun and comfortable stay. Highly recommend this cabin.

A Cozy Cabin in a Perfect Little Spot
Wonderful and relaxing stay! We loved the unique location and comfort of this adorable cabin. The hosts thought of everything so we felt at home right away. We enjoyed watching the sunrises and listening to the loons each day. Can't wait to return!

Parking is terrible! There is only enough room for one truck (not including trailer). The neighbors are unwelcoming. You do get your own dock to park two boats at. The cabin was clean and comfortable. This establishment is not recommended for a fishing trip.

Silence is Golden
What a great view and oh, so quiet (except for the occasional Loon call). Updated interior and nice screened in deck and outside deck, again looking at a beautiful, quiet lake. Owners are timely with communications and very fair as we had a sick dog and had to leave early. This is a great Vrbo option.

We had a wonderful, long weekend here. Clean, beautiful lake. A perfect get away from the cities. The neighbors took us out on a tour of the lake, after helping us pull in the tipped sailboat. Lots of laughs and fun had by all.

Awesome cabin!
We went up for a weekend away with our infant twin girls and some other family. We loved the cabin. All the aesthetics, literally ON the lake. Was fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again.
