We had a great week at this well equipped rental property. We enjoyed using the bikes and got out on the kayaks several days. The kitchen is well stocked for in home dining but Chatham is also only a couple of miles away for bars, shopping and dining out. I would highly recommend.
ABSOLUTELY wonderful property , 3 floors with just the right amount of living space . All the essentials needed to spend a week in stunning Chatham. Can’t wait to return next year !
The property is a bit hard to find, but once you are there, it is great. Good parking, 1 mile walk to Hardings Beach, quiet. Bring your own sheets and towels or buy from property manager. We all enjoyed it.
This cute house is in a quiet little neighborhood, and the road leads down a hill to a lovely marina that goes into Oyster Pond. The driveway to the house was quite difficult to get in and out of (not pictured in the listing), but an additional level parking spot near the lawn was much easier for us to use. The bedrooms are spacious, but I wish I had noticed that we had to provide our own linens. (My mistake for not asking.) One bedroom downstairs had a bad mattress and others were fine. The shiplap decor was a nice touch for a Cape cottage.
The convenience of being in this location which allowed us to experience Chatham and Harwichport was a real plus. We would have ventured out further, but experiencing a flat tire on Memorial Day weekend caused us to stick close with only a donut tire on, until the shop opened on Tuesday. I must say that the owner and manager were wonderful in letting us stay an extra day to handle this. That was a life saver.
