The bonus suite is available for an extra charge ($150 per night and $100 cleaning) for party sizes up to 8 guests and is mandatory for over 8 guests. The villa is a spacious one-story floor plan with stunning scenic views including picturesque sunrise and sunsets, Charlotte Amalie, Water Island, Hassel Island, Buck Island, St. John, St. Croix, Long Bay, and the Caribbean Sea. The large living room opens to the screened lanai with perfect ocean views while you enjoy your morning coffee, reading a book, cocktails, or dining. The adjacent gourmet kitchen comes with high-end cooking amenities. The living room has a TV, Firestick, and a variety of board games for your entertainment. Yoga gear is available for those looking to step outside for relaxation by the pool. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, A/C, and walk in closet. The third bedroom, known as the Treehouse bedroom for its phenomenal, expansive views of the harbor, has A/C, a large walk-in closet, a built-in desk, and an attached full bathroom. The scenic pool area is for use by villa guests only with sun loungers, a dining table, sofa, chairs, and a BBQ grill. Perfect place for a family vacation

Kendra & Craig were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful home overlooking Charlotte Amalie. They were very responsive to our inquiries, requests, and provided very useful information regarding places to see, dining, and shopping. All the rooms are very spacious and the screened lanai is the crown jewel for relaxing and enjoying the island breezes and the amazing views. Kendra & Craig, thank-you for making our stay a 5-star experience!

Spectacular

This place is stunning! The views are astounding. So wellstocked with everything you might need to enjoy the beautiful beaches of St. Thomas. If you want to stay put , the pool is lovely and the grounds feel as though you are in a tropical paradise. The kitchen (and actually the entire home) is the best equipped place we have stayed in. The hosts are on site and are so lovely and helpful. They will give you your privacy or help you with restaurant suggestions, beach conditions or just chat with you about places to go if you want help. Beds are all comfy. If I could rate 10 stars, this place and the hosts would have it!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful week at this home! The hosts have really thought of everything including Christmas decorations! We stay Christmas week and decorated the how with lights provided by the hosts! The kitchen is amazing and had every accessory you could possibly need. The location and was of access are great. We had wonderful views and islands breezes! The pool is clean and an added bonus. We really couldn't ask for a better week!

Quiet Family Getaway

Lovely home up in the hills slight distance away from the city. The house had all the amenities we needed including for breakfasts and occasional cooking. The pool and the views were amazing. We were a little hesitant before we came about the on site host, but it worked out great. Craig was there for our arrival to give us a tour and was available for questions, but we still enjoyed all the privacy we wanted for our vacation. It was a wonderful place to stay with our family. Thanks!

Magical

Magical is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about our poolside time at Sun Mountain Crest. The views are unparalleled, whether you're eating dinner on the lanai, sleeping in from the Tree House bedroom, or sitting in what feels like an infinity pool. The view of Charlotte Amalie can be taken in from virtually any place on the property, thanks to panorama windows on the entire Southside of the house. The villa is very clean, has abundant cookware and supplies, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts (Craig and Kendra) are salt of the Earth people. Kind, gracious, and very helpful with tips on local groceries, restaurants and airport tips for departure. They gave us a history filled tour all around the property and even gave us some of the property's abundant produce. The property has a generator so we didn't experience any power outages, that are all so common on the island. The only thing that was somewhat surprising is that the main living area isn't climate controlled, but we quickly found out that was a non-issue. The cool breeze rolls through the entire house, thanks to every window being slatted. We were never uncomfortable and we're city folk so that says something. Overall, our experience was exceptional. With VRBO listing's, it can be a bit unnerving, basing your decision on pictures and a description. We definitely felt good about booking Sun Mountain Crest Villa and would recommend others to do the same!

We loved our stay! The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful pool, cold AC, and the drinking water was great! The hosts Craig and Kendra were lovely to interact with and made our stay easy. What more could you ask for? 10/10 would recommend!

Craig and Kendra were absolutely wonderful, the residence is immaculate. The pool is amazing and the beaches are the best in this world. The hosts were wonderful people and amazing souls. A wonderful stay!

We couldn't have asked for more for our stay at this property. Craig and Kendra were the perfect hosts, meeting us when we arrived, touring us through the property, and providing some welcome gifts for us. Having the hosts living downstairs is actually a big help in getting assistance when required. They also provided a ride for me to the grocery store, given that we decided we wouldn't rent a car. All of their recommendations for drivers, tour guides, restaurants, and things to do were all spot on. They were also fun to get to know. The property itself has to be one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. It was very attractive thanks to Kendra's decorating skills. The kitchen had just about any appliance or dish that you could hope for. There actually were quite a few supplies left from previous guests that got us a good start on our way. The bedrooms were well-appointed and very comfortable. Having access to their laundry room in the cellar was a real plus after a week of sailing. Both the washer and dryer were new and very high capacity. Experiencing hot/humid weather while we were there made the availability of the pool so much more valuable. Finally, the views of the harbor in Charlotte Amalie were dramatic; we loved to watch the weather change and the ship traffic coming in and out of the harbor. The only challenging thing related to using taxis. There seemed to be a good deal of confusion about where the house was which led to some delays.

Million dollar views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't get enough of the gorgeous views overlooking the bay. Having three separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, worked well with our family. We made many of our own meals, and the house had all we needed to feel like home. Craig was responsive to any assistance needed or questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property!

Ideal views, comfort and amenities. Amazing villa!

I stayed here with my mom, my friend, my friend’s mother and my aunt. We came to STT for a relaxing week in the Caribbean and also to see my cousin and her husband. We have made this trip a couple of times and our stay in March 2022 at this villa was the best trip by far. This villa was more than comfortable and spacious for our three mother/daughter pairs. The kitchen was so well stocked with appliances and supplies that cooking our meals (as we preferred) was no problem. In fact, the entire home is stocked with most everything you could need. Thinks like sunscreen, bug spray, some toiletries, etc…very appreciated and thoughtful! The beds were extremely comfortable, and I loved waking up every morning to the beautiful views and enjoying a latte on the lanai. The espresso machine is the perfect touch. (In fact, my birthday was a few days after we got back from this trip and guess what I got from my family…a Breville! Every single time I make an espresso I think of our stay here and it makes me smile.) I cannot think of any cons from our stay and the most appreciated perk was the beach items for day use. It was really great to have beach towels, chairs an umbrella and snorkel gear for use. The next time I come to STT, this will be the first place on my list. I hope it will be available! Thank you Kendra and Craig for opening your home. We had a wonderful stay.

Live the Dream at Sun Mountain!

My besties and I had a wonderful stay at Kendra and Craig's villa. I slept in the treehouse room and had wonderful views of Charlotte Amalie. The villa was fully stocked, cleaned and nicely decorated. The pool is the crown jewel, and we enjoyed swimming all times of the day. Kendra and Craig are attentive and responsive hosts who help you with anything you need!!

Great views

We chose this place for the pool and views and neither disappointed. Coffee each morning watching the action of the harbor with cool breeze blowing through was my favorite way to start the day. Nearly every day after the day’s activities the kids would get in pool for hour or two before having to get ready for supper. They loved having private pool to play games without worrying about other people. The kids also loved the tour of the property Craig and Kendra (hosts) gave them pointing out iguanas, lizards, flowers, and fruit. They take great pride in their house and property and it’s well taken care of. This is the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in. The snorkeling and beach gear were so nice to have. Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, sunscreen, bug spray, and other things you might have forgotten were available. At the end of vacation, I asked the kids if they would have rather stayed at a resort on the beach and they all agreed that they were glad we choose this property instead. Craig and Kendra and this house made our vacation memorable.

Wonderful vacation location

We had a very relaxing vacation! The house is set up to accommodate multiple couples and provides privacy for all. The pool was key for us and provided relaxation and entertainment. As for the house, we cooked all breakfasts and dinners at the house and we had everything needed to do so! About midway through the vacation, we discussed our return to St. Thomas, we know we will rerent Estate Solberg! One will enjoy this home!!!

The Most Well Equipped VRBO We Have Ever Stayed In!!!

My family stayed at this wonderful property or a week in early January 2022. We have used VRBO for vacations for years and I can truly say that this house was the most well equipped I have ever seen! It was amazing! Beach chairs, towels, reef safe Suntan Lotion and snorkeling equipment to enjoy the beautiful beaches of St Thomas. A Pack n Play and high chair for my grandson. An amazing kitchen with all of the bells and whistles. We were spoiled drinking espressos every morning. The house even came with a bottle of St Thomas Rum!!! And fresh coconuts from the yard! The beds were so comfortable and the views were unbeatable. The pool was exquisite with wonderful patio furniture. The grill was out of this world! We felt really pampered!! I highly recommend this place !! I would stay again in a heartbeat. And Kendra and Craig were super nice and helpful/responsive while really respecting our privacy.

Awesome stay for New Years!

I stayed at this property with my family during the last week in December. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need and then some! The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soap to and towels. They had beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. Everything you need for the beach! The house is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The hosts were so delightful and helpful! They even gave us fresh fruit from their garden. The driving does take time getting used to but is well worth it! I would highly recommend staying here!

Overall Wonderful stay

Enjoyed meeting Craig & getting a short history of the house & a tour of the house. The wrap around porch was the best place to enjoy the island view with the sun rising. The 3 BRs with baths were all comfortable with air conditioning. The 2 people in the "Tree" BR with the view of the ocean and sunrise, were early risers...I had missed that this BR had no shades on the windows. Kitchen was well equipped. This house is really not too far up the island & was close to a 4-way stop(Four Corners) from where you drove on the highway to both sides of the island...close to Mountain Top & Magens Beach. Directions were really helpful to take the scenic route and get used to the island roads. Kendra was excellent for providing all the requirements for island tourism...pool was clean with patio furniture and umbrellas to relax. They were very helpful & responsive with any questions & always available. Enjoyed our stay during Christmas time.

Highly recommended.

This was a last minute stay for us and are so glad it was available. I can not rate it highly enough and if I travel back to St. Thomas this will be my first preference. The property itself is clean and so well equipped for a larger group. The items are top quality and anything you an imagine. The expresso machine was greatly appreciated and used on a consistent manner. The board games are a great touch. The view is just amazing. The owners were so helpful and provided everything needed for snorkeling or a day on a beach or advice on where to spend the day. Best advice - book it for a wonderful stay.

Absolute Paradise

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Sun Mountain Crest was for our family. We have 4 kids ages 16, 11, 5 and 18 months. All the kids loved the house especially the pool. We could not believe how spacious it was and beautifully decorated. Loved all of the seating available both indoors and outdoors. We are so thankful we did not stay at a resort. The views with the pool and the ocean are incredible. My husband and I stayed in the treehouse bedroom and we woke up to see the beautiful ocean in the morning and enjoyed the lights at night overlooking St. Thomas and the smaller islands. The mattresses and bedding were very comfortable and the place was spotless. The owners were very hospitable. It was my wife’s birthday and I was unable to find a florist. I mentioned this to Craig and Kendra and they surprised us and made my wife a beautiful flower arrangement from the flowers on the property which made it extra special. They really go above and beyond for their guests. Some of the add-ins were great too. They gave us a playpen and a high chair. We had use of the beach chairs, snorkel equipment, cooler, pool floats and they even supplied beach towels. We loved the lush landscaping and enjoyed the fruit from their mango tree. We rented a van for the week and it was great that we had a driveway to park it in. They have every amenity you can think of including extras like a great cappuccino maker, homedics massager and plenty of games for the kids. I loved all of the little things they provided including toothpaste and bar soap that made it feel like a resort. It was great to be able to wash our clothes. We had not one single WiFi issue which is a big plus for any family with kids and loved that the TVs had streaming capabilities. We had a wonderful week in saint thomas swimming with the dolphins, night kayak tour, visiting St. John, beach hopping, and a snorkel charter tour. The trip was made even better since we all loved our accommodations. The location was great because all of our activities and restaurants were between 10 to 25 minutes from the house. We would stay here again in a heart beat.
