cabin not secluded, two other cabins right next to it. had to fix entrance door handle right from start. lamp in bedroom would not work even after changing the bulb. never could turn on TV in one bedroom, which were minor issues our stay was okay. rained the whole time but the hot tub was the best plus to our vacation. small and cozy with a gazebo for morning coffee.
Great cabin at a great price! We had everything we needed. My kids loved the game room while I made meals and we all loved the hot tub at night after a day of hiking and exploring. We made some great family memories during our stay!
The host had prepared such a great accommodation for our family! Due to moving in on the same day as a snow storm, we ended up being snowed in for the first three days of vacation, but we loved it! Although it meant not being able to visit Gatlinburg itself until the fourth day, we played games in the living room, soaked in the hot tub (yes, while it was snowing and was practically magical), sledded down the driveway, and read books. We couldn't have asked for a better cabin to be "stuck" together as a family.
This property is located far off the beaten path without being too far of a drive from the city. We had no issues with anything on the property and the owners were very responsive. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and equipment. The fire pit was an unexpected and welcomed addition to our stay. Overall, a very nice rental cabin for our budget!
The cabin was just wonderful. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved having coffee on the deck in the morning. It was just such a beautiful place. I want to do it again in the Fall to see the colors. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of sightseeing. The cherry on top of the cake was when 4 bears came to visit us. Got some really great pictures of them. Was hard to come home and leave it behind.
A bear came on the porch maybe 30 minutes after we got to cabin...mommy and 3 cubs came another day then the next night a big bear got into my Grandson car

Lock your car doors!
Property not as nice as pics portray. Bunk beds in separate room from house with no bathroom access so nobody wanted to sleep there. No smoke detectors seen anywhere. Bear broke into my truck so make sure all vehicles are locked at all times and there is no food drinks or anything with sugar left inside your vehicles.

outdated
Under the kitchen sink there was a leak that we weren't aware of. There was a broken glass in the cabinet that someone almost cut their hand on. The kitchen cookware was awful. The coating on the pan we used for our eggs came off on the eggs. The bathroom showers were dangerous. They need grab bars.Just alot of things that need to be udated. The dryer made a noise when we used it. The kitchen table was rough. The refridgerator was nasty on the outside.
This is a quaint property with lots of potential but it needs some major TLC. I have informed the manager of the list of issues. It seems to me that they are not giving this property any attention that it needs. I fixed some of the simple issues for them that I was able to assit with (doornobs loose and loose bolts on bunk bed). The manager only offered a reduced price stay if we came back. Without a functional laundry dryer, broken kitchen sink, non-functional ceiling fan, small bath towels and too few of bath towels helped make my decision easy... we will not be back to this property. This was also our first Vrbo ever... I am really worried that the rest are just like this.
We arrived and the code did not work, we were told it “would be a long shot but try the window.” I’m guessing the unlocked window has been used more than once. This place has floor tiles coming up, it’s not clean, torn hot tub cover, broken pool and foosball table. The shower head came to my nose so my husband had a really hard time showering. Dry wall is awful. It needs so much work. The game room says separate entrance which means it is not accessible from the inside of the house so it was pointless for our young kids. They had to sleep on the couch bed instead which has springs poking through. I spoke to the owner about all this. No refunds, no help, no nothing. This place looks way better in photos. Please read this before you book!
We were overall very happy with our stay. We have stayed in other VRBO locations and this was the cleanest we have stayed at. Other than the pool set missing balls and only one Xbox controller there were not any issues. I will say that we did not come for the games, so it was not a huge deal during our stay. We would stay at this property again.
This place was and is just like it’s shown. Very clean and had plenty of essentials. The owners were very nice and the place was in a amazing secluded spot! I do recommend being careful on the drive to it. I have been the Gatlinburg more then 3 times and this drive to the cabin was very straight up lol! But we loved the drive at the same time was 15 minutes from Gatlinburg!
This cabin was amazing and clean and close to all downtown Gatlinburg. Washer and dryer coffee maker , towels and everything we needed was there even cleaning supplies!! With out side screened in porch , bagged chairs and a very clean hot tub. Love it all. Thanks again we will be back ,

Great location, clean, close to wildlife, in need of some maintenance, great cabin for a few guys. Double bunk beds separate from main house not sure if that is family friendly. It has two separate entrances, so if the kids have to pee they have to go outside to get into the house. If the kids want to leave the room the parents wouldn’t know.
Great spot to stay with easy access to Gatlinberg and the national park. Game room is a plus for kids and the hot tub looked brand new. David was easy to work with, thanks for a wonderful trip!

Comfortable Rustic cabin
This is a very rustic cabin in the mountains. If you’re looking for seclusion this is perfect! The third bedroom is actually separated from the main cabin which did not work well for my young children. But they did love the games inside during the day. It is older and needs some updating but has all the amenities that you need for a comfortable weekend. David the host was wonderful and very responsive!!
Good stay! Check in was easy & trouble-free. Owners were quick to respond to messages. Beds were a bit creaky & mattresses on the softer side, but we managed fine. Kitchen has very basic amenities. If you have kids, be sure to bring plastic cups! All dishware is ceramic or glass.
Game/bunk room was fun for the kids during the day. It's NOT accessible from the main cabin (separate entrance off the deck), and the door is VERY hard to close/latch. (My 9 year old couldn't do it.) We didn't feel comfortable letting them stay in the bunks, so they stayed in the cabin overnight.
Overall, good, clean stay.
