About this property

In courtyard around pool. Tongue & groove vaulted ceiling, large windows, louver doors, 2 comfortable bedrooms, plus loft with two twin beds, one bathroom, newly added washer dryer.
Long-term renter discounts, weekly cleaning. Direct pool access. A place to sleep and clean up. Guest house is right next to home, it's not a resort, it's a place to sleep and get clean. Kitchenette has a two burner stove, small fridge, and a microwave but no oven.
The main house is occupied and the backyard pool area is a shared space.
This is a quiet neighborhood but 2 minutes from a Starbucks and 24/7 Workout Anytime. The road is a no access road so there is minimal traffic and makes it a great place to walk especially in the summer with the fireflies. There is an extremely friendly dog and two cats on property along with a pool. For small infants there is a pack and play available on request.
Please note that the pool is right out the front door.
Pets must be crated or contained.

Great Stay

This was perfect for what we needed - somewhere to sleep for the weekend, as our daughter was playing softball all day. The only recommendation I have for the owners’ is to put a TV in the pool house. At night, it was almost too quiet to sleep, especially if the dog started barking outside. Some background noise would’ve been nice. (The dog barking wasn’t a nuisance or anything, but he did bark a couple of times.) Thanks for sharing your pool house with us!

Very nice host

My wife had a work assignment in Dalton, and this was the ONLY place we could find in the area that would allow us to have 2 dogs plus a late checkout for my wife to finish her 2nd day of work. It is a guest house off the main house. It is quite spacious with a living area, master bedroom(queen), 2nd bedroom(2 twins), and loft(twin bunk beds). There is no oven or TV, but that was not a big deal for us. It was clean and there were a couple of friendly dogs as well as cats and even chickens on the property. We had a great stay, and especially appreciated the flexibility of the owner.

Perfect place to stay while on the go visiting family

We were in town for my daughters wedding and knew we really only needed a place to sleep and get ready. This was perfect and then some. Very roomy, very clean and pet friendly ( which was a must for us). The location couldn’t not have been better, which allowed us to make multiple trips back and forth during the weekend with much ease. Marianne and her family were also very warm and welcoming.

Friendly and relaxing

We had a very relaxing weekend with the g-kids. The home was a good size and had everything we needed. There was space for the kids to play and even things for them to do. Plenty of parking and close to town.

Return to the Pool House

Coming back to a rental house for a repeat visit is like coming home. The pool house never fails to satisfy our needs when coming to the Dalton, GA area for a weekend of bike racing. The team gets comfy beds and a pool, and we can cook athlete appropriate meals in the kitchen. See you next year!
