We rented the house for Thanksgiving! We cooked a traditional Thanksgiving meal! The house had everything we needed to prepare the meal! Watched a lit of football, played a lot of cards downstairs in the game room! Plenty of firewood was available and the wood burning fireplace kept the whole house warm. We had a fabulous trip and enjoyed being in your house!!
House was very nice, but too many stairs for our group of seniors. We enjoyed the spacious deck and the view. We did see some turkey’s and squirrels.
Having a garage was wonderful. A special thank you to Rhonda. She was very kind and considerate with helping us.
The photos of this house do not do it justice. This is a beautiful, well laid out home that offers a perfect base for exploring the area. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The common rooms comfortable and spacious and the beds were fantastic. My only issue was that the listing indicated that wi-fi was available and when we arrived we discovered that it was not. The listing has since been updated so it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone else. Rhonda was an awesome host who went above and beyond with contact and making recommendations. I only wish we had more time to explore this area...so much to see and do. Probably my favorite thing was the many hummingbird visitors we had everyday. If you are planning a visit to this region I would recommend this home as your base for sure.
Great location for traveling around the area - Saluda (zip lining), Bryson City (rafting), Cherokee (Santa’s Land), Gatlinburg (Sky Bridge) and Great Smoky Mountain National Park (to see the elk). Rhonda was great to work with and offered wonderful recommendations. Adults and teens thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We spent a week at this lovely home in Waynesville, and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was.
The pictures really don't do the home justice. The view from the deck is amazing and the neighborhood is very pretty.
The home was clean and very practical for our group (7 people, 4 adults, 3 kids). The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and we felt like it was home from home.
We also loved Waynesville - it was not a town we had visited before. There are hundreds of nearby sites and things to do, including tubing, hiking, zip lines and more.
Rhonda was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
My only suggestion would be to run a dehumidifier in the basement since it was a bit musty.
This is really nice home for sizeable family. Huge kitchen with everything you would need for huge meal. Beautiful decor. We were given 2 garage door openers to park in the garage. Two king-size bedrooms. Master suite is wonderful with walk-in shower, huge tub, etc. Another bed is Queen size, a children's room with full size bed on bottom & twin bunk bed on top. This home does have stairs. Also, on mountain with steep road, paved though. If you have fear of heights, you may not like. Beautiful outside also. We saw wild turkeys, squirrels, groundhogs & deer in yard while staying in this great home. Great deck. Everything you need for entertaining or Holiday getaway. Tons of privacy, but nice homes close, so not isolated. Paved mountain road up to it is only 1 1/2 miles so not long drive. Took us 12 minutes to drive to Downtown Waynesville which has great restaurants, fun shops, etc. Maggie Valley only few miles away too! Owner's very helpful with info. too!
