Convenient location to explore the Loire Valley
Great location - literally across from the castle, and steps away from all of the restaurants and shops, but on a side street so not busy. Comfortable space. Good beds. Quiet. Worth knowing: - we chose this property because it included parking and we weren't sure how easy it would be to find street parking. Parking is NOT included (despite the listing). After you arrive you will find a map showing the free street parking locations (despite asking where we should park this info was not provided ahead of time). We were able to find nearby parking for free, but this was in March - I can only assume this would not be nearly as easy in peak months. - I am so done with properties that hit you with a whole host of cleaning duties AFTER you've arrived. There are times when I would rather pay less for cleaning and pitch in to help, but I would like to know this ahead of time - include it in the fine print. This was not one of those times. We needed to get away early in the morning. I don't want to wait around for your dishwasher to finish so I can put the dishes away (explicit request), walk your recycling several blocks away or sweep the floors. I think we're pretty solid guests and treat everywhere we go as we would our own home, but we're on vacation and would like to be able to plan our time accordingly, or select a rental that better meets our needs. Just let us know what to expect!

Very comfortable with a great location.
The property is wonderfully appointed with very comfortable furniture and appliances. Bedding and bathroom towels are excellent. At the foot of the Château Royal d’Amboise you are well located to explore all that Amboise has to offer.

Delightful stay
This property, which has been beautifully and comfortably done yet preserving some of the old walls, had everything we needed for a 3 night stay in Amboise. With the castle across the street and amenities in town a short walk away, it has the perfect location. We loved exploring the area with its chateaus and lovely rural countryside.

Great apartment & location
The apartment feels new and clean! The location is amazing, right across the street from the castle and walking distance to everything. Kitchen has everything you need to make simple meals. We were very happy with our stay.

We just parked under the castle!
The location of ths property is excellent. Middle of everything, views of the castle, walk to delicious restaurants, pharmacie, and shops. The apartment is beautiful and wellstocked with everything you need if you do want to make your own meals. There is a washer and soap for clothes. Dryer is a wall mount electric heater. There is no air conditioning, but apartment cools down at night and the climate is mild. It felt good to impress my teenage daughter and neice. The price is more than fair for what you get here.
