Cute House in Terrible Location

The house itself was very nicely renovated and clean. The owner, Jennifer, communicated well and was extremely friendly. However, upon arrival at 5 PM, the cleaning woman was still present, didn’t mention who she was until we asked and immediately handed us the keys directly without verification. Also, curtains are missing from the back rooms, which face a “Holler” in a rather rough area of Asheville, North Carolina. Numerous free range dogs and cats down the unpaved side roads the home is located on. Additionally, a seemingly permanent 5th wheel was plugged directly into the side of the rental home and had their generator running 24/7. Although we never actually saw anyone enter or exit the 5th wheel itself, we know that the tenants were using the laundry facilities downstairs, which we thought were private. Lights were noticed to be turned back on after leaving and coming back to the home, specifically more often in the downstairs level. If you intend to simply lock yourself inside, don’t need to use the laundry facilities nor the exterior of the property, then this home is suitable for a shorter term stay.

Great house for a relaxing vacation!

We loved our stay here! It was a great house with almost everything we could have ever needed. The only thing I would note is the master bedroom did not have window treatments, so we woke up with the sun bright and early! If blinds or curtains could be added to that room, it would be perfect. The neighborhood feels out of the city, which is relaxing, but you're within 10-15 minutes, if not less, from everything Asheville has to offer! Definitely recommend staying here!

Great place to stay!

We have a 9 yr old and 12 yr old and the outdoor tree swing and fooseball coffee table were a huge hit! The house is beautiful and the back deck is perfect for eating.

Great Property Overall

Great property overall. Very clean and looks exactly like photos. Easy communication with the property manager. Price point was on par with prices for area and location was convenient to downtown and other attractions. The other properties in the neighborhood are not like this home and leave some things to be desired. However, that is not a direct reflection of the experience staying in this property but a general observation other renters should be aware of.

Nice house/ Not so nice neighborhood

The house itself was very nice and extremely clean. The pictures of the inside were very accurate and the house was obviously newly renovated. The overall location was nice and seemed to be close to all the major attractions of Asheville. However, the pictures of the outside are a bit deceiving. Some of the surrounding homes are a little sketchy and the next door neighbor basically has a junkyard right on the other side of the fence. That was a little bit disappointing for the price point. Overall though, it was a nice house and we had a good experience there.
