The Creek! Great quiet waterfront home with1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room amenities. Launch your kayak, paddleboard, or bring your small boat. (low bridge with shallow water will not allow access to large boats, or boats with tops, towers, windshields etc. Flats boats, jon boats, surface drives etc work fine) Walk to Freezer, Shed / Monkey bar < 1/2 mile. Very nice place! We would definitely stay here again ,loved the location. Took our little jonboat and it was perfect because it had the boat ramp. It really was the perfect place and the price was very reasonable.

Fabulous

Like the fact, the freezer restaurant was walking distance, McCray was very close All the little Shops in the surrounding area and the fact that we went during the week was fabulous all the congestion and the monkeys on the island Entertaining it was an overall great relaxing getaway The accommodations were very roomy uncomfortable Oh, we just didn’t know what to do with the trash that was our only concern

The property is at the end of a dead end steet. It is very quiet and private. Threre is a boat ramp which works well for a kayak and even for a small boat. The canal provides a quick access to the Homosassa River. The area is vast and I would recommend a GPS when venturing out into the bckcountry. There are many beautiful areas to explore and many of the native species to see including manatees, dolphins, ospreys, eagles, annhingas, herons, ibises and other bird species. The tides are tricky and it would be best to get information regarding tides from the local outfitters. The rental space is comfortible and has new and functional appliances. There is a supermarket about four miles away and several small stores nearby.

Husband and his fishing buddy enjoyed there time there once again.

The guys love being able to park the boat right there. This is their 3rd time staying there.

3 days of fishing! This was the perfect location for our small John boat and canoe. Easy access to the Homosassa River and the gulf . Definitely going to book this again.

Cute Clean and Comfortable!

This place was clean and comfortable and a perfect size for 2 adults, with room to entertain a couple of guests. Communication with the owner was very easy. It's a great location on a canal and down the street from a local bar (The Freezer). The property has many comforts of home (cooking items, comfortable bed, sheets, towels, nice TV, and more), but you may want to bring extra blankets and pillows and k-cups for the keurig coffee maker. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property and hope to be back the next time we visit family in the area.

Went to do some fishing. Caught a few fish. Really enjoyed being on the canal. Beautiful.

Quiet bungalo

We really enjoyed the quiet and being close to everything we love about the area. Home had all we needed and a nice screened porch s . Boarded our kayak and paddled ourselves out to the river.

This is a beautiful creek side home. I stayed for a week. It was quiet every night. The home was clean and in great condition, with art and other interesting touches. The sound of the loons at night was beautiful. I’m a solo female traveler and felt perfectly safe. I will be back!
