This new construction lodge is close to three state parks and offers 5 private bedrooms with 4 additional twin beds in the open loft. The walk-in master shower will blow you away as well as the spacious living spaces and cozy setting. This property features private views of the trees as well as a stream that runs through the back of the property. The two-story great room and finished lower level both include a stone fireplace for your quiet enjoyment. If you prefer competition, try your hand at ping pong or perhaps challenge friends to a game of “hook 'em.” Afterward, relax in the hot tub or simply enjoy a night around the fire pit under the stars.

Good stay

14 ladies on a weekend trip. Close to hiking, and enjoyed the property! Wish the garbage cans were a bit closer to the house that there was more trash bags and toilet paper at the house as the nearest store is 10-15 minutes away. We did not use the hot tub, as we did not understand the controls and when we opened it the water looked odd. Overall the property is very spacious, plenty of room for everyone and the view of the stars at night was amazing!!

Beautiful Large House

This is a gorgeous house that holds everyone comfortably and you don’t feel like you’re on top of everyone. It also has lots of shade so you can be outside without being in the sun. I do wish there was a little bit more direction as to the functionality of the house and ease of use of features. We couldn’t get the main tv to work and ended up just streaming Spotify from our phones. When I was in setting up, we found pieces of glass on the steps and I was walking barefoot so that was unnerving. There was also glass when we moved the trash can to leave. The trash overflowed by the end since they use residential pick up, it would be nice if they invested in a smaller dumpster. The listing also said there was a keurig which ended up being a disappointment when we found it was a regular coffee pot and we didn’t not have the correct provisions. The hot tub also developed a weird film when jets were turned on despite everyone rinsing off before entering. Would also be nice to be able to adjust the fan outside or be able to access different deck levels. Host was good about communication and ensuring we had everything we needed, and I was greatly surprised at how well stocked this house was with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, etc which is not normal for most Vrbo listings. Was appreciated given the remote location.

The Patriot Lodge is located near Ash Cave and Cedar Falls. Because it is off a main road, it is easy to locate and it is easy to get anywhere from this lodge. The 8-person hot tub on the wrap-around deck is the favorite spot of most guests after a day of hiking.

The open loft with 4 twin beds is the perfect place for children to sleep, hang out, or play games. There is a master bedroom with an ensuite bath on the main floor as well.
