Downtown Phoenix Bed & Breakfast

Always in Sandals B&B, directly across from Hance Park, features a king bedroom with a SMART TV, private four piece bath, and exclusive use of living & dining rooms. Guests also enjoy private outdoor spaces with sitting and eating areas, a pool (June-September) and hot tub (year round 8:00PM - midnight). A continental breakfast and free parking are included.

The one story, fully renovated, 1926 historic home is owner/host occupied along with their cat. The owners are a well traveled, professional couple who appreciate and accommodate guests' privacy . All areas of the property are designated nonsmoking. The use of Cannabis, marijuana, illegal drugs, and vaping are also not permitted anywhere on the property,

The home, located on Hance Park in downtown Phoenix is walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, live theater, a multiplex cinema, Burton Barr Public library,, Japanese Friendship Gardens, churches, First Friday, the Phoenix Art Gallery and the Phoenix Convention Center. It is a half block to light rail for 5 minute rides to the Herd Museum, Chase Field - home of the Diamond Backs, the Footprint Center- home of the Phoenix Suns and the AZ Science Center..

Bookings are limited to a maximum of six nights.

Exclusive use of the home - kitchen, den with queen size Murphy bed, family room, additional two piece bath, and laundry is available during the summer and over Christmas and New Years. Lovely Hosts and Great Location
We had a wonderful stay with our hosts Barb and Mark. Barb was very kind, warm, and hospitable. She gave us many recommendations for sights and restaurants, many of which we checked out and enjoyed. The location of the property was great. It was close enough to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment areas. We looked forward to Barb’s breakfast every morning and a hot tub soak in the evenings. We highly staying with Barb and Mark!

The Bed & Breakfast Experience In Downtown Phoenix
The host was great and very welcoming. She shared a lot of recommendations with us, made a continental breakfast for us every morning, and engaged in daily conversations with us, sometimes in the morning and evenings. We primarily dealt with Barb and not so much Mark. In this stay, you share almost a space, but it is a larger common space, divided with a room divider. You won't see the owners on the other side of the room, but you may hear them eat, watch TV, etc., but they are very quiet. There is a pet cat who is friendly as well. There is a nice backyard with a pool and hot tub. The location is beautiful. It is across the street from a fantastic park and the friendship garden. It is only 5 minutes from downtown if that. So very convenient Overall, it was a good stay; I had never stayed in a Bed& Breakfast before, so I was not expecting FaceTime from the owners. They would have been accommodating if we told them we wanted space, but we didn't mind so much. So, when choosing this location for your stay, just be upfront with yourself and make sure this stay will meet your travel expectations like you would with any other stay :)

Just like home, but better!
Without a doubt, Barb and Mark are the most gracious hosts I have ever come across!! Kind, considerate, incredibly friendly, with fantastic activity recommendations which we would never have come up with on our own. A beautifully decorated home, comfortable and sparkling clean- and a delightful little feline Mascot!! And Barb was sweet enough to share her amazing, home-made granola recipe with us!! We could not have asked for more, and have indeed already booked another stay in a few months when we will be back in the area!!

Wonderful downtown home away from home!
We stayed for a long weekend in February. Unfortunately, the weather a bit chilly, but the accommodations couldn't have been better. Barb and Mark are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful. Our room was comfortable, we loved the backyard and hot tub, and Barb's continental breakfast with homemade granola was fantastic. Absolutely recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet homemade while in Phoenix.

As a first timer using VBRO, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the treatment and the service was way more than I would have imagined. The breakfasts were a nice treat and sitting outside on the patio was refreshing. The space in the bedroom and living room is very nice. The bathroom is large. It is a nice property with great hosts. The bar has been set high for future VBRO rentals.

Perfect romantic weekend getaway! Barb is an amazing host---her daily breakfast spread is amazing! She shared great restaurant and activity tips that made our trip extra special. Mark and Barb were amazingly gracious hosts. Their property was just as listed and the perfect location for our stay in Phoenix. Breakfast was delicious (the best homemade yogurt and granola I've ever had!) and the bed was comfy. The house was beautiful and the hot tub was a relaxing perk. I would definitely stay again!

Barb and Mark are wonderful hosts. Space is beautiful, clean, and the use of the pool was fantastic. Barb's homemade granola is great at breakfast and makes for a great snack later in the day. It is great for a couples' weekend get away or even longer stay. Either way Barb and Mark will make you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful
I had an amazing time in Phoenix and this rental was perfect. The photos of the house do not do it justice! My daughter and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. Everything was super clean and the finishings and decor are very tasteful. The hosts were warm and friendly...the home- made yogurt and granola were “to die for!” I hope to stay here again on my next visit.

Relaxation and Golf Getaway
Barb and Mark were extremely hospitable! It was our first time having a shared home experience - and we would definitely recommend this property to stay at! Barb and Mark were attentive to our needs, gave great recommendations, and also gave us our privacy. They were engaging to chat with, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The outdoor area was my favorite part (although the breakfast yogurt and granola was a close second). The hot tub and pool were extremely nice and well maintained. Five star home, and excellent hosts!

very misleading
made it sound like you get a house.You only get a room and couldn't use any of the house. They had no problem keeping are money after we told them it was misleading. said you could use the hotter that they overlooked.. don't feel like it is what they advertised..if you have reservations I think twice.

We moved to Phoenix seven years ago and appreciate the great hiking, perpetual blue skies, and sunny days found here in the Sonoran Desert.

Why they chose this property

The location of this B & B is unbeatable. Although we live in the home with our cat Marley, we are quiet and respectful of guests' privacy! We have traveled much and understand guests’ needs for comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and exclusive spaces for relaxation.
We are located on Hance Park and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, a variety of coffee shops, the Japanese Friendship Gardens, live theater, a multiplex movie theater, the Phoenix Convention Center, the Burton Barr Library (Phoenix's main downtown library), the Phoenix Art Gallery, churches and First Friday (street fair the first Friday evening of every month). The home is a half block from the light rail which provides five minute rides to Chase Field (home of the AZ Diamond Backs), the Talking Stick Resort (home of the Phoenix Suns), the Herd Museum and the AZ Science Center.
Guests in the home will enjoy high speed 5G WIFI, Google Home, exclusive use of living and dining rooms, a SMART television in a King bedroom, free parking, an outdoor covered eating and sitting area, hot-tub (evenings) and pool (May - September).
