Wonderful stay.

Place is just wonderful. Rustic and cozy. Pups loved it. There was nothing missing to make the place feel like home. For walkers the home is right next to a dirt State Forestry Road. It is drivable as we used it to cut across to the neighboring town (grew up here and know the area well) and the Finger Lakes Trails. Far enough away to be alone but close to creature comforts.

Wonderful and relaxing!

This was our second time staying at Patrick’s property and it was even better than the first. This home is so clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The view from the back deck is stunning. I even got to watch a mother deer and her twin fawns eat apples from the apple tree each morning! Beds are super comfy, towels are soft, and kitchen/pantry are well stocked. Patrick is a fantastic and very communicative host!

Great home, views and owner!

Even better than advertised. Patrick’s home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, peaceful and appointed. It is located on a beautiful lot and has everything needed to accommodate at least four adults and a baby. Patrick is a great host and communicator and does not annoy you in any way. He made my stay terrific! Don’t miss this one!

Great house in a beautiful location

The house was clean and neat, just as shown in the pictures. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. Appreciated the k-cups and snacks that were waiting for us. Forest roads were great for walking and local roads were nice for biking.

Peaceful and Tranquil

My husband and our dog needed a little time away from caregiving for his father who lives with us. We just needed time to be a couple and be still with one another. This house was perfect! It so perfect! It was clean and the setting was so peaceful we didn’t want to leave. The beds are the best we have ever slept on besides our own! The kitchen was well stocked in case you forget a few simple things. It was fun to cook on the Z-grill we had never used one before. The views are spectacular!! We cannot wait to start planning our next stay here! This is the best VRBO experience for us so far!!

Peaceful and Private Retreat

cozy and clean in a gorgeous setting

The house was impeccably clean with a very good kitchen: great knives, good cookware (except for sadly mistreated cast iron pans, but I wasn't expecting cast iron anyway; other cookware was good), well-stocked pantry basics, fridge condiments, and paper/plastic goods, excellent gas range, a countertop toaster/induction oven/air fryer, a Keurig, etc. Owner was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Setting is gorgeous and quiet, with the nearest grocery 15 minutes away. Laundry in basement, comfortable beds (though without reading lamps, and one without any nightstand), surprisingly effective window air conditioners, spectacular views, excellent wifi, and a blueberry bush in the yard, yum! Plus a helpful info booklet (thank goodness for the Keurig instruction manual, I'd never used one before), bug repellent provided but we didn't even need it, and lots of helpful touches. Note that the VRBO listing says "Minimum 2-day vacancy between guest stays" but this is not true; previous guests checked out in the morning, the owner's cleaner came in during the day, and we arrived that afternoon. We opened all the windows and doors for a while on arrival, to ensure a complete air exchange for COVID-19 safety. It was a great place to stay, and I would definitely come back!

Beautiful view, super clean.

Listing pictures don’t do this place justice. Property is super clean and view is amazing. Only negative is that all beds are up a steep set of stairs. Wouldn’t work for seniors or young children.

Perfect mountain cabin getaway
