We are a working five acre vineyard featuring Pinot Noir grapes. Take in an impressive four mountain view of Hood, Adams, St Helens and Rainier. We are conveniently located near other local wineries such as Ponzi, Raptor Ridge, Adelsheim, Potters and Avidity to name just a few.

Beautiful Views

The property has a beautiful view. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. A beautiful scenic drive to and from the property. One downfall is the view is not from the apartment. Only window is a sliding glass door and it looks out to green but not the valley. Still would recommend as the hosts were kind and accommodating and we were so busy site seeing we didn’t spend much time inside!

stay for the views

i booked katherine’s place solely because of the reviews of the view from her place and it did not disappoint. we didn’t spend much time in our room, but we always looked forward to waking up for the sunrise and being back by sunset to watch it from the patio. katherine was incredibly accommodating and so easy to connect with - 10/10 would recommend. thanks so much!

Amazing view

Great above-garage apartment in wine country with amazing views of Cascades, foothills, and vineyards. This location is out of the way, so it was very quiet. Hosts were kind and welcoming. Apartment stocked with snacks and water. It is a lovely place to stay just a few miles from Newberg.

Quiet Getaway in Wine Country

Communication with host was easy. Single room, kind of like a loft, on a beautiful property (probably more so on sunny days!). Everything was comfortable and included everything I needed.

Nice setup in wine country

This rental has everything you need plus some extras. It's clean, comfortable and in a unique location. The view from the property is really great - Mt. Hood plus three of the Washington volcanoes can be seen from here.

Perfect stay

The suite is above a beautiful home on a beautiful vineyard. It was private and quiet yet close to everything we wanted to do and see. Our hostess Katherine was very helpful with suggestions about wineries and restaurants in the area. The suite itself is very comfortable with a wonderful king size bed and upholstered chair. There is a large tv and the kitchenette is stocked with everything you might need. Thank you Katherine for your hospitality and kindness!

Great Room in Wine Country

Wonderful place and hostess! It was exactly what we needed for a weekend away in wine country. Plenty of vineyards within a short drive to visit, along great food options in nearby towns.

Beautiful location in heart of Willamette Valley

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Katie and Doug’s very nice upstairs studio apartment near Newberg, OR. It was clean, well stocked, a very comfortable bed, and a good location to find places to hike, bike, and wine-taste. Katie was very easy to communicate with. We were there for three nights, which was great; however, if people want a longer stay and plan to cook in some, just know there is no oven, one hot plate, and one fry pan, along with a microwave, so it’s somewhat limited that way. We appreciated the snacks provided, especially as we were doing some longer hikes and bike rides. Our service dog, Zoey, was welcome, and we would come back and stay at Katherine’s and Doug’s place.

We loved our stay! The view was breathtaking, the entire property was safe and inviting, the host and hostess made us feel welcomed and at home. The bed was comfortable and the home was clean. Perfect location

The location was central to our activities we planned for the weekend. The property was beautiful and relaxing.The bed was very comfortable. I loved how our host thought to have cold bottled waters to keep us hydrated along with some snacks for energy.

Beautiful Location

Katie & Doug are amazing hosts. Katie met us when we arrived and was in communication on when we would arrive. She checked in on us each day. Also, provided an umbrella for the deck because the sun was so bright/ warm. The vineyard is beautiful and enjoyed walking through it. There are lots of wineries nearby; Katie also mentioned some too. Also, not far from Portland & Salam. On our last day we enjoyed a wonderful conversation with Doug. I would highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful stay in the vineyard!

Weekend visit

We had a great stay at Kate and Doug’s lovely guest suite. The suite was clean, contained thoughtful kitchen and bathroom amenities, and was located on a gorgeous piece of property. Though the warm spring/summer weather hadn’t quite arrived yet, we still enjoyed walking through the vineyards. We’ll look forward to visiting again in the future when we visit our daughter who is in school nearby. Thanks again for opening up your lovely suite to us.

Simply Awesome

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The hosts greeted me in person- even though I arrived late. Beautiful setting adjacent to a mountain winery- the upstairs apartment was quiet, super clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The views of at least three Northern Cascades volcanoes was simply awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mama getaway

Great spot in the vinyard
