Welcome to Casa Azul Cottage. Enjoy everything that Carolina Beach has to offer at one of the original cottages left on Pleasure Island. This newly renovated 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is located just a short, 5 minute walk to the beach or the downtown boardwalk area. Relax at the beach or have an activity-filled day. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off in upon returning from your adventurous beach days! The property is within walking distance to charter fishing, playgrounds, restaurants and bars, you are in the heart of it all! Casa Azul is the perfect spot for your next vacation. We have some beach chairs, umbrella and a beach cart available for your added convenience.

A last minute booking

We had rented another house and the owner literally sold it out from under us a few days before our booking, so we were scrambling to find abother rental. We found this place, and i wish i had just booked it to begin with. Perfectly clean and beautifully decorated and not a really long walk to the beach. We loved the backyard and the outdoor shower! My 6 year old daughter really loved the play area set up in the back, as well. All in all, a really lovely rental!

Amazing location and perfect cottage.

We came in for Labor Day weekend and the cottage was everything we needed! It was perfect for the teens to walk into town and an easy walk to the beach. We would love to come back again.

Great place! It was the cleanest VRBO I have ever rented! And it smelled so nice! After a 3 hour drive, it was perfect. Will definitely return.

Great property and location!

We had an awesome stay in Carolina Beach. This was close enough to the beach and boardwalk to feel like we were staying on the beach, but also far enough away to remain quiet and low traffic down the street. The house is clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch most because of the breeze and convenience. I do wish there would have been access to the backyard without needing to go through the front yard, but that was so minor for the quality of the stay. If we're in the area again and don't want to stay/pay for ON the beach, we want to come back here!

A Nice Place to Stay

Casa Azul Cottage was a nice little place to stay with friends for our beach weekend. Overall, it was clean and had what we needed, though a few of the kitchen items listed were missing or not totally functional. A good place to stay if you're looking for a simple, quiet beach weekend!

I enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the activities. A welcoming surprise was the linens and towels that were individually wrap, the beds unmade and the toilet covered with clear plastic wrap. The cleanliness of the environment can be felt and seen throughout the space. We enjoyed The serenity of the backyard hideaway as we did on movie night. Great space, great location that provides total access to the beach, the surrounding areas, the restaurants. looking forward to doing it again next year

Super Cute Cottage

The cottage was super cute and clean. It was perfect for our family of four. Loved the location and it’s super walkable to the beach and drivable to Kure beach and all the other activities we did. The backyard was totally great and useable too - the swing, the hideway with the TV in the back.

Beautiful Gem

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cottage. Super clean and cozy. The backyard was a huge hit with the kids. The location was amazing, just a short walk to the boardwalk and beach.

Beautiful cottage!!!

It was the perfect place to stay. Close to everything and totally comfortable and clean. Love the gnarly old tree in the backyard. As others have said, if the door leading to the driveway worked so you could get to the backyard easier and unpack your car more efficiently, that would be the cherry on top. Thanks for a wonderdul beach haven for a much-needed relaxing vacation!!!

Adorable little beach cottage

This was our first vacation in NC and this cottage did not disappoint. Very cozy, clean and quiet. For me, the front porch was very relaxing.. The cottage is centrally located and walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Short stay at Carolina Beach

Nicely decorated house with easy walk to beach and restaurants. Generally clean. And can tell someone put a lot of love in setting it up. But, needs deep cleaning for sofa, area rugs, and outside rooms. Strange policy of not washing bed covers and telling you they are only decorative. We would have brought blankets if we knew and ended up sleeping with beach towels.
