4-BEDROOM OPTION:

Ponderosa, Foxtail, Durango: upstairs rooms with queen beds, each has balcony, ensuite

Lacebark: main floor bunk room with 1 queen plus 3x twin beds; nearby 2-room washroom.

ADDITIONAL OPTION: Lodgepole Hideaway is perfect for groups needing more space. To the 4-bdrm booking, add this spacious rec room by day that has 2x chaise sofas that become xl-double beds at night. Ensuite with shower.

6-BEDROOM OPTION:

Add the 2-room Sugar Pine Suite to your 4-room booking for a total of 6-Bdrms and 5-Bath. This is a great option for Sun Peaks weddings with a private honeymoon area, grandparents or working holiday oasis.

Pinetree Chalet is built with a architectural "Prow" design to surround you with 20' soaring picture windows featuring truly stunning panoramic mountain views. Immerse yourself in nature and watch for wildlife as you hang out in the Great Room after an activity-filled day.

Take a look at space for groups in our photos of the Great Room... our grand table is perfect for large family meals, games, puzzles and meetings; adjoining living and family rooms offer plenty of seating with flexible arrangement for one large, or two smaller group settings. Cooks will find a very well-equipped kitchen to create feasts for the group.

Throughout the house you'll find extensive use of wood, unique handcrafted items, wrought iron accessories, lodge-style decor, comfy beds, and space for the family to gather together in comfort.

Ski to the house in winter, or follow the stream up the mountain as you embark on your hiking adventure right from the front door. It is impossible to overstate the awesome experience of the open-air hot tub. Pinetree Chalet is ideally located an easy 7-10 minute walk from Sun Peaks Village and Sunburst chairlift.

We are family-focused, hosting only guests who will be respectful of our house-only Emerald Estates neighbourhood.

Beds have thick New Zealand wool pads to keep you warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. Your bed will be made up with thick organic cotton sheets, or 400+ tc premium cotton sheets for breathe-ability that you will look forward to settling into. One guest commented that she rarely sleeps well, but had one of the best sleeps she's ever had in her Pinetree Chalet bed.

PLEASE NOTE: We take VRBO bookings up to 1 year in advance. Our rates are based on length of stay, number of bedrooms and guests, which we've attempted to fit into VRBO's booking system. Our large family lives throughout BC, and Sun Peaks location is central to us all, with many seasonal activities for everyone to enjoy. We've incorporated flexibility into the design - from our own large ( and growing) family reunions to comfortable corporate getaways; friends of up to 6 couples can each settle into a private bedroom with a queen bed. We're delighted to welcome other families and groups to enjoy Sun Peaks year-round splendour.

Skiing at Sun Peaks is a wonderful experience, with runs for all of our family - from little ones just learning the pizza wedge to 30's extreme and grandparents still perfecting their curves through wooded peek-a-boo slopes. There's also alpine trails for snow shoeing and x-country skiing; Mountain biking, hiking, nearby lakes, golf, watching the ever-changing mountain views and wildlife from your front-row seat on the deck or great room. Sun Peaks Village was described by one of the "kids" as a Mini-Disneyland - stroll through the pedestrian streets and explore the restaurants and shops.

At the end of a fun-filled day, kick back and relax at the chalet surrounded by lodge decor: wood beams, vaulted ceilings, procured bedding, nature-inspired art, comforts of home - the total experience offers an escape from everyday life. Pinetree Chalet Sun Peaks inspires a memory-making getaway.

An important and unique feature of Pinetree Chalet Sun Peaks is that the house has such flexible sleeping options, allowing extended families and groups plenty of space to spread out. The separate suite is ideal as a quiet oasis, with its' own private entrance (no indoor access).

Our Sun Peaks home was chosen because of its' large gathering areas with spectacular panoramic views.

The ski run to the front door is a treat. As the snow melts, follow the stream from the trail head to take you exploring on Tod Mountain - right from the property.

You will never tire of the ever-changing and spectacular mountain views.

It's been mentioned before... but we cannot pass the opportunity to mention again the unique and wonderful experience of the open-air hot tub built literally on the slope of Tod Mountain.
