What a wonderful getaway. Lots of space in the cabin to stretch out and we truly felt secluded and alone while there. We will definitely come back. Great hosts, easy to get a hold of and very helpful.

We are a family who loves the beauty of nature, playing outdoors and being together. We also love travel, architecture, fine dining and relaxation! I'm not big on roughing it, so a modern, comfortable cabin with nearby amenities made perfect sense for me as well (ha). You feel like you're a 'million miles away in minutes' - slogan of the Timber Lakes area.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a place where we could be together, escape to beautiful surroundings and feel free from the stresses of crowded city life. This cabin has already brought our family so much peace and fun. It's amazing how transforming a cabin in the woods can be. There have been guests of the cabin who come to work in a new "office", who come to celebrate a new marriage, or just have a place to sleep after they play all day. We welcome you and will make sure you have a wonderful experience.

What makes this property unique

This cabin is in the upper area of the Timber Lakes development and you wind past gorgeous lakes into an Aspen forest and feel like there is no one else around on this 1 acre lot - no cabins in sight from it. It's so tranquil. You breathe easier as soon as you arrive. Other cabins we considered felt crammed together or were so old it would feel like work for us to enjoy. This cabin feels like a getaway!
