Photographs are simply inadequate to capture this property, its stunning views and incredible experience. Of course, COVID had us all clamoring for relief from what has felt like an endless nightmare of unknowns and say whens. (When will this virus be gone?!) So, when we found this property, we had no ideal as to just how safe, healing and amazing the experience would be. At this "little piece of heaven", we found serenity, joy, peace, gentle breezes, and an absolutely breathtaking view to wake up to every morning (morning smiles guaranteed). We explored the entire island--- a lot, and also took the car ferry to St. Johns, which proved to be yet another fascinating experience. On one of our many escapades, when it rained a bit at brunch, we ended up enjoying gourmet pancakes, vegan quiche, and passion-fruit mimosas at a roadside bar with some lovely peeps from the UK! Everywhere you go/look there's a new, picturesque, gotta have this picture kind of view! The people on the island were very friendly, open, and engaging. (I miss them already.) The local food was quite tasty, and offered great variety for our three very different palates. We cooked at the villa most mornings, and ate out a lot. (By the way, there are sweetsop, papaya, and mango trees on the villa grounds!) And, the hosts -- Gemma and Marc-- are two beautiful souls, who were always available, caring, and attentive to our needs. (There should be an extra charge just for them!) I luv, love, loved this property. Can't wait to return. If you should be so lucky as to get the opportunity to stay at this property-- Jump at it!
