Wake up, step onto your balcony and stare out across 3 states at the same time. With its vaulted ceilings, 2 separate decks and bay windows that really DO look out over the bay, this property is truly one of a kind. The ideal home away from home, this unit couldn’t be more centrally located. Swim, shop, enjoy a nice dinner, then retire to the third floor balcony to watch a sunset that defies explanation. Every night more brilliant than the one before. However long you’re with us, staying here will be a constant reminder of the true New England gem that is Watch Hill.

Second year in a row we stayed at this property, and we loved it just the same. The fact we can bring our dogs is the best, we all love sitting on the deck and watching people walk by. Easy walk to Napatree beach with the dogs during dog hours, walk around historic downtown. The hosts on this property are awesome and super easy going. Thank you again for letting us stay here, we loved it!
We spent a long weekend in late April. We had some sunny days which made walking to East Beach, the lighthouse and around Napatree enjoyable. All are very close. Most area stores/restaurants were still closed for the season, but downtown Westerly is a quick drive.
Nice property with everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the Jefferson stairs and loft bedroom. The two decks have fantastic views.
What a great gem of a place in Watch Hill! We have visited Watch Hill many times but this is the first time that we decided to spend a few days there. Boy did we choose the right place!
There are 2 balconies -- both with amazing views of the harbor and directly in front of the Watch Hill Yacht Club -- to say it is waterfront is an understatement! The architecture is really cool and unique in this place -- my kids loved the loft and Jefferson stairs. Everything was clean and solid. For a place that was built in 1940 it sure is in GREAT condition and clearly is well managed as communication was efficient and clear - leaving us not wondering about anything. The 2 dedicated parking places were super convenient. Place came well equipped with toiletries and even little welcome basket with wifi code front and center. I could go on and on... the view and location truly were truly nothing short of amazing. We have nothing negative to say. Our family of 4 LOVED our stay and will be going back!
A well-maintained upstairs apartment with loft that is great for a couple plus two. Bright, very sunny, (bring sleep masks), with balconies overlooking the marina. Clean, cool with AC units. Lots of stairs to navigate but worth the extra steps. Reserved parking spaces (2) is a huge bonus. Walk to everything in Watch Hill, from the Ocean House to the galleries. Would stay there again.
just a great place to spend a week at Watch Hill! I am already planning a return trip! Thank you Ralph and Rob! The owner and property manager are great! Thanks so much !
This rental has a wonderful view of the bay from every room. Quaint and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the beach and a lighthouse. Came at the off season and it was still wonderful, probably much more quiet and relaxing. Owner was quick to respond. Would highly recommend. Do be aware that the upstairs is a set of Jefferson steps, I kept my little dog off of those.
The condo was perfectly located for us to enjoy everything the area has to offer; from the Mystic Aquarium to The Cliff Walk and marina restaurants in Newport. From the condo to beach chair was only .09 miles. We also had the pleasure of rocking out to the band playing at the Watch Hill Yacht Club which was right outside our balcony. The remnants of Hurricane Ida made for even more "fun". We will definitely back!
The apartment is lovely! Sparkling clean and comfortable and so unique and fun! The loft is only good for those who are comfortable with very steep stairs and don't get up and down in the night to use the bathroom. We spent lots of time sitting on the decks looking at the view of he harbor and the ocean and watching the comings and goings at the Watch Hill Yacht Club. Steps to everything and an easy walk to the beach! Just loved it and would highly recommend it! Hope to visit again sometime!!
We were hoping for a relaxing getaway and it turned into so much more than we expected. This property was beyond beautiful, literally steps from a gorgeous beach and quaint down town shops and restaurants.
We had a very lovely stay. The neighborhood is very walkable with many shops and a couple of nearby eateries. You are a stone's throw from Napatree which is a lovely visit. I emailed the owner, Ralph, a few times and he was friendly and accomodating.
Staying at this property was truly wonderful!! We were there in April. The natural light coming through the skylights, coupled with yellow painted walls, was bright even on a cloudy day, and when the sun peeked through the clouds and lit up the whole condo- wow - it was heavenly! the condo literally felt bathed in sunlight - it was so peaceful and nourishing for the spirit. Home was spotless and very nicely decorated. Beds comfy. Wonderful kitchen/ living space. Enjoyed the decks. Lovely to wake up to sunrise/natural light. Space worked very well for 2 adults, 2 teens. Stairs to second level were a surprise (we maybe missed seeing that in photo description) ( they were not a normal staircase) we navigated fine (and had fun getting used to them) but this could prove tricky to anyone who has trouble on regular staircase, is very young or old, or has balance issues. (You might sleep on first floor in that case, which is ok its a lovely bedroom) Located in town, Walk to beach in about 2-3 minutes (tops) its literally outside you door, beautiful long beach, see sunrises and sunsets. A really fabulous getaway especially for the off season, beach and town were not overly crowded. Short drive to Westerly and Mystic CT. Highly recommend!
It is clean, well equipped, welcoming and hassle free. We really enjoyed our stay. There were no crowds this time of year, and our family enjoyed the cool/crisp sunny weather on the beach - flying kites, playing with the dogs, and skim boarding in the surf with body suits. Parking this time of year was easy. Food and restaurant take out was very accessible.
