Girls trip

The view was amazing! Inside was dated and the "hot tub" in the listing is a jetted tub in the bathroom. But the view, sound of waves crashing. Pics look like right on beach. There are very steep steps on the beach access down at the end

As you walk through the front door you will see the view. This is why we came. The view and the beach are both beautiful.

Very peaceful

You are not going to find a better place on the Oregon coast for viewing and enjoying the beach. The path down could be too challenging for older or infirmed people. It is rather long and steep. Good condition though. The home is very spacious. The kitchen is not particularly well stocked but is servicable. The furnishings are very modest. The spa tub in the master bedroom sadly would not hold water. The deck is incredible! The BBQ is good. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We would love to come back but it is pretty expensive.

A Fantastic Getaway on the Beach

This is a fantastic rental on the Northern California coast, with just a short drive to some of the best parts of Redwoods National & State Parks. The house was a great size for our party of six, with wonderful views of the coast. Most days we felt like we had the beach to ourselves, and there are great tide pools to the north! The host is very communicative and has fantastic suggestions on dining and activities in southern Oregon and Norther California so take them into consideration! We'd have never explored the Rogue River jet boat tours without his recommendation and that was a true highlight for all of us with some fantastic wildlife viewing along the way. We'd come back and stay here in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Home with Beautiful Views

In my little family we had two graduations and a 50th birthday party to celebrate! We had saved and planned this trip for a long time and this beautiful home did not disappoint. The house is well stocked, beds and pillows were comforable and we had plenty of room to be together AND apart when we needed it! I spent a lot of time sitting on the deck looking out over the ocean - it was incredibly relaxing and just what I needed after the grind of getting a degree. We waded in the water (pretty chilly) and collected rocks and shells. We watched the sun set every night of our 6 night stay. Communication with the host was perfect and checking in and out was easy. The experience was very laid back and I appreciated that. We got our damage deposit back in a timely manner. I hope we can come back again some day. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Beautiful ocean front property!

Perfect coastal getaway! We had a fabulous stay and couldn’t recommend this home more! The location was absolutely gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed the patio and the beach access being so convenient. The home was clean and comfortable and was well stocked with anything we could have needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area and would definitely book again if we find ourselves back in the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. Plenty of space for our family and so close to the ocean you can hear the waves! Children loved the games room!

Great location/uncomfortable furniture

Excellent location. Wonderful view! Close access to a nice, quiet beach. The furniture is what lowers our overall rating. We found one chair in the living area comfortable to sit in. We ended up purchasing a cot for one guest because the folding couch was uncomfortable. It was challenging to sit and relax as a family due to the lack of comfortable seating options. The oven smoked upon initial use. We had to clean it out before using it. The view from the deck was perfect. (But we used our own beach chairs for seating)

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay! The house was welcoming and provided great space. Great view of the ocean from the living room and patio. Close access to the beach. Trail was not difficult but just wanted to mention may be a challenge for physically limited or elderly. Overall, I would recommend this property to enjoy a great time at the beach.

Perfect Fall Break

Our family could not have enjoyed our stay here more! The house was perfect for our family. We listened to the sound of the ocean all day and night. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was plenty of space. We explored the beach every day and the game room was used every single night! It was a great central location for day trips up into Oregon and down into the Redwood Forest. We will definiltely stay again.

Beach house

The beach house was very clean and has a wonderful atmosphere! The only problem is the size of the beds were advertised incorrectly. The master bed is a queen not a king and the second bedroom is a full not a queen. The men in my family are very tall so this was a problem. I had to sleep in the other bedroom on a twin bed. We also had a problem with the electrical. The refrigerator and lights in the kitchen went out for an unknown reason. We loss everything that was frozen.

Beach vacation

This house has an amazing view. Very relaxing to stare out at the ocean from the house and deck. The beach access was a bit of a walk down a steep hill but the beach Was great and very secluded/quiet. The house worked well for our family. The game room was very fun for our 4 year old and grandpa :)

Octopus Odyssey was perfect!

An amazing view, very short walk to a beautiful & quiet beach, and great amenities! Tons of room, with a pool table and 2 arcade games. Very relaxing for the whole family!

Ranch Home On the California Coast

We enjoyed our stay in the home. The views were outstanding. We very much enjoyed taking walks on the beach each day and the path to access the beach was perfect. We would love to come back again. Therefore, We would address these items in need of improvement to the home. The Master bedroom bed was a queen not a king as pictured and was not that comfortable. The home was very much in need of a thorough cleaning. When we got there the floors were not swept and the house was pretty dirty over all. The grill had someones salmon skin and foil left in it. The pool table in the game room had major damage from someone jumping on it or what have you, so that made it hard to play. Otherwise we loved the game room. I had to clean the master bathroom toilet, shower and tub. I swept and mopped the floors and wiped down the kitchen for our stay. As mentioned the coastal view were amazing and as we sat out on the deck we saw a hummingbird fly by. So because we love hummingbirds we went and bought a hummingbird feeder and sugar. Within a couple hours of us hanging it up, our little hummingbird lady came and took ownership of it. Other hummingbirds tried to come share the feeder but she wasn't having it. She would sit on the twiggy bush behind the deck railing and chase any other hummingbirds away that tried to eat off her newly claimed feeder. We left the feeder, and the sugar hoping the owner and the future guests of the home will keep it full and feed her. Thank you!! In case you don't already know, the recipe is 1 cup sugar to 3 cups water. Lady hummingbird thanks you too!!
