Lovely home in a great location. We enjoyed being able to walk around the beautiful neighborhood and host a few small family dinners, while attending a reunion/birthday celebration weekend. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Thank you, Marcie and Don, for sharing your home with us.

Thanks Micah for your review, and for treating our home so nicely during your stay! We haven’t heard about low water pressure before — we’ll check into it, as we may be able to make an adjustment. Appreciate the feedback.
Having the Bay within a sort walk made the location perfect for anyone wishing to spend time by the water. We were able to bring our 102 year old parent to the house for a lunch without any problems. The town of Havre de Grace has been a place she has enjoyed for many years because of it's great seafood & charming, historic houses. It brought back many memories for her which made our stay all the more memorable too.
As soon as I walked in the back door of the house, there was a welcoming letter with fresh flowers, a few books that were perfect for our stay and a decorative pumpkin and gift certificate to the local coffee shop. This was such a sweet touch to welcome us to their home. The instructions were perfect and the the bedrooms were perfect for our family of four.

About the host
Hosted by Don and Marcie
We have always been very fond of Havre de Grace, and moved here in 2010. We renovated the house in 2020, which is next door to where we live, and have hosted many guests who have fallen in love with the house and the neighborhood and town. Whether you like walking, biking, boating, antiquing, live music, dining, shopping, or simply relaxing, it’s all here.
Why they chose this property
This home is steps away from the Concord Point Lighthouse which is where the Chesapeake meets the Susquehanna. It is also surrounded by the Moore Plantation, Graw Alley of murals depicting the town’s history, The Promenade Grill at Tydings Marina, and Bomboys Ice Cream and Candy. And if there’s a festival going on, you’ll be steps away and can see the town’s fireworks from most of the rooms. It’s so convenient, but also peaceful and beautiful.
What makes this property unique
This home was built in the early 1900s, and was restored in 2020 including modern amenities. It includes spacious rooms, a well equipped kitchen, plus a beautiful sun room that you won’t want to leave.
