European Vacation - Padua
The flat was clean, spacious, and well furnished. We loved the location and were in the center of the historic district. The dining and shopping were just out our front door. Sara was very quick to answer our questions. Our week in Padua was one of the highlights of our trip. I definitely recommend this rental. We plan on returning to Padua in the future.

Great location in a great city!
The apartment was great - a perfect location near several lovely piazzas, lots of good restaurants and markets, and many sites that I wanted to see. It's about 1 km from the train station, so it's a reasonable walk or an quick bus ride, depending on your preference. The bed was comfortable and the main room spacious, but I recommend you bring earplugs with you for a better sleep......With the university and so many good restaurants nearby, the evenings can get noisy. My only complaint about the apartment was the very small shower stall, which made it difficult to scrub my hair or bend over wash my feet......Other than that, things were perfect.

Padova Padova

Beautiful roomy apartment
Our 3 nights in Padua were amazing! The kitchen was perfect for cooking our daily lunches consisting of meats and produce from the open air market nearby. A bit noisy at night, but we didn't mind--we were in Padua!

Best location in Padua!
Apartment Isabella served as our home while we enjoyed the many attractions that Padova has to offer. The unit is spacious, clean and fully equipped, with everything in good working order. We cannot imagine an apartment being better located. A baker and also a small well stocked grocery store are just across the street. The apartment is adjacent to the two principle markets, offering fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood and miscellaneous items, as well as the grand Palazzo della Ragione, built in 1218. Isabella herself got us off to a good start by giving us a helpful overview of what to see and do and where we might find the best food and drink. You could spend all your time right there and have a great stay, but there is more. It is a walk of some 5 or 6 minutes to the tram line, which puts you near every major attraction, which space prevents me from cataloging here, information readily available elsewhere. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and would stay here again personally.

A beautuiful place to stay in Padua
My wife and I are retired and travel in Europe for 2 months in the summer. This past summer we choose Padua. In addition to the sights in Padua, easy access to Venice, Verona, Lake Como, Slovenia.. Padua is a very comfortable city. The people are friendly and in 2 months we did not run out of great restaurants. We initially knew very little about northern Italy, but were soon to learn and become very comfortable. What made this trip most memorable was the hospitality of Isabella and Francisco. Both went out of their way to assist when needed and showed us the warm hospitality of northern Italy. The accomodations were perfect. A fully appointed kitchen. The market(s) are a block away, located on a quiet residential street, safe, fitting our needs for our 2 months stay. Additionally, Isabella has a cooking class at her home where we were welcomed as if family. Highly recommended.

Perfect location in Padova
We loved Isabella's apartment. My daughter had studied in Padova earlier in the summer, so we made it our base when I met her in August. The apartment's location is excellent--half a block from a piazza with a daily farmers' market. It is in the heart of historic Padova, surrounded by sites, sidewalk cafes, lovely shops and colonnaded streets. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, with a well-appointed kitchen if you want to cook, using the fresh ingredients found close by. Isabella is very warm and welcoming. Padova is also a great base for day trips to Venice, Bologna, Verona, and more. We were happy to return to "our" apartment and lovely Padova at the end of a day away.

Lovely Apartment In Heart Of Historic District
This is a lovely and comfortable apartment in the best location. It is very clean, well appointed, and the owner was helpful in every way. It is steps from the market, shopping, and many places to eat. It is a special place to stay and Padova is a wonderful location.

Fantastico!
Everything about apt Isabella is great! It's located just steps away from the markets, the University, the Jewish Ghetto. The apartment is very beautiful and spacious with comfort of the visitors in mind every step of the way. The hosts Isabella and Francesco are very friendly and helpful, always available to answer your questions. We followed Isabella's suggestions on what to do in Padova and enjoyed every one of them. We fell in love with Padova, really didn't want to leave and will definitely be back! And where we stayed played a big role in the way we felt. Thank you, Isabella and Franceso! From NJ with love, Alla and Mike.

Excellent in all respects
We were very happy with Isabella and her apartment. We used Padua as a central location to visit 6 cities in the Veneto. Trains are reliable, frequent, and inexpensive. Isabella has very good English, very prompt, and has things very well organized. Her place is colorful and has more than we needed. Good, efficient kitchen, and quick hot water. The apartment is about 15-20 minute walk from the train station, and it has the best location for 3 useful piazzas just off the center of Padua. We used the frequent trams (next to the train station) each afternoon or evening, which then stopped about 3 blocks from the apartment. We used Rick Steves' Italy book, too.Gary, 72 YO. Charlotte NC

In the centre of Padova
Outstanding accomodation in the heart of the city - we spent a week in apartments Arancia and Isabella and enjoyed the many amenities of the city and these comfortable appartments. It was warm/hot but everything was in good order as we enjoyed the markets, evenings on the square, and close proximity to Verona and Venice. The attraction is the location away from the tourism of the large centres yet a safe and comfortable stay in an attractive smaller city with culture and history. Isabella gives personal attention to her guests. Very centrally located for those who love the local charms but do not want to stay in rural surroundings.

A beautiful apartment and a wonderful city
The minute we walked into the apt, met Isabella's lovely daughter, we knew we made the right decision to stay here for two weeks. Isabella's apt. was designed with elegant taste and an eye for comfort. The entire apt is quite large, uncluttered with coordinated furnishings of quality you don't expect to find in a rental apt. The king sized bed has a good firm mattress and the lighting to either read in bed or on one of the two couches is excellent. But the paintings that grace the walls are magnificent. To sleep under a large painting of two large, vibrant roses just insures a good nights sleep. The kitchen is exceedingly functional with good dishes, utensils, pots and pans, microwave. It has everything you find in your own home and it makes cooking very easy. We never did eat out as the produce, cheeses, meats, etc. in the markets were so enticing that we just wanted to get back to the kitchen and cook. The city is very walkable and has so much to offer. When the market shuts down around 3 PM, the piazza is cleaned, bars and restaurants set up their tables for drinks, dinner, etc. Someone will be playing an instrument or singing. It is a complete transformation of a piazza. Isabella and Francesco are lovely, gracious people who just envelope you with their kindness and hospitality. We were sad to leave as we had a lovely time in an apt. you consider "your home away from home". Thank you Isabella for creating it. Ted and Leone

Wonderful! Apartment beautiful, well supplied, sparkling, with lovely artwork. Isabella was waiting for us, ready with great advice laid out for sights to see, and her restaurant advice was spot on. Easy side trips to Monselice and to Vincenza. WIFI worked well. University scene great. Don't forget if there are more than 2 who are considering Padua, that she has a larger apartment above this one.

The Best Possible Choice
When we think of our week-long stay in Padova we remember with great fondness the Apartment Isabella and Isabella herself. The apartment was ideal for two people who wanted to explore a wonderful city and all it has to offer. We food shopped at the nearby outdoor markets and spent our time walking the City and discovering all it has to offer. Then we returned to Apartment Isabella to prepare wonderful meals in the apartment's kitchen. From Padova we were also able to visit Venice very easily by train. Isabella took the time to give us good information about local art galleries and events, and even helped us with a taxi on the day we reluctantly departed. We heartily recommend the Apartment Isabella.

Exceptional apartment, wonderfully warm hosts
We spent 6 nights in a very comfortable and spacious apartment owned by Francesco and Isabella. The apartment was centrally located and we walked everywhere. Padua is a very friendly walking city and we enjoyed everything about it. Isabella is a fabulous hostess, and made us feel immediately like family. They were very responsive to our every need, and treated us like honored guests. We would happily return to their apartment in the future.

Impeccably Clean and Central Location
Apartment Isabella is a spacious and comfortable flat in the heart of Padua. It has a feeling of an open "art studio" combined with a homey, traditional kitchen and bath. It was the largest apartment we stayed in on our three week trip through France and northern Italy. You will find the neighborhood bustling with activities as well a fantastic morning market. The owner, Isabella, was a gracious host and offered many suggestions for sight-seeing and dining. She has high standards and remarkable attention to detail (as most artists do!). We spent two days exploring Padua and enjoyed one day trip to Venice by way of train, which was simple to do. Our only regret was not having more time to stay and enjoy this beautiful city. My advice is to plan more days here than we did. You will love Padua and you will love this apartment. Isabella, thank you for everything!

A perfect base in a beautiful city
We spent a week in Apartment Isabella and just loved the apartment and the city. The apartment is very spacious and filled with light from the large windows. It was lovely to sit on the window ledge and watch the life of this beautiful city - people cycling past, others setting up for the wonderful daily market - literally steps from the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with good glasses, crockery and cutlery, kitchen equipment and so on. We often bought food at the market or the nearby "Pam" supermarket, and cooked at home. Our hosts were really delightful and so helpful in arranging to get us to the airport in Venice when the flight was changed to very early in the morning. It is the most perfect location - and such fun to walk around the corner every evening and have a Sprtiz in one of the beautiful squares and "people watch". Padova is such a delight - there is so much to see and the apartment enhanced our visit. We felt as though we had the privilege of actually living in the city, rather than being "just tourists". Highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect accomodations and wonderful host.
We spent a week in the area and used this as our base for day trips to Venice, Vicenza, and the Veneto in general. We stayed at "Ai talenti" which is a 10 minute walk from the centro storico but ideal if you are actively using a car and need easy parking. The appartment was everything we expected: Comfortable, spacious, clean and convenient. The hosts, Isabella and Francesco are friendly and welcoming. Isabella is also a well established artist and her gallery happens to be right by the Talenti property; a visit to the gallery is highly recommended. Grazie e arrivedeci!!! Alessandro e Joanne

A lovely place
My husband and I were fortunate to be able to stay in the charming and well-maintained residence of Isabella and Francesco for three days last week. Although mid-November is not the time most people would travel, our trip was a completely restful experience for me (and for my husband when he wasn't working) because of this lodging. It has everything you need for any downtime during your stay, and the bathroom and kitchen are completely modern and spotless. The apartment is a short walk from downtown, and there is a bus stop just outside the residence at the corner, although Emery was easily able to find his way to the university on foot the first day. Isabella and Francesco were there to greet us and provide recommendations for dining. I hope we might return to Padova again to see the famous frescos and to wander more through the sometimes bustling city. For fans of excellent coffee and wine--not to mention the regional cuisine, a stay in this city and this comfortable abode should provide what you need to recharge your senses.

A wonderful apartment in the center of Padova!
My husband and I took a leap of faith in booking an apartment instead of a hotel and we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. The owners were gracious and helpful every step of the way. We shopped for our breakfast every morning at the nearby market and the number of restaurants within easy walking distance seemed limitless. The apartment was clean and uncluttered with plenty of space for the 2 of us. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend the Isabella Apartment to anyone visiting Padova.

wonderful in every way!
We enjoyed a wonderful week in Padova and much of our delight was in our accommodations which were comfortable with every need provided for. The attention to detail in our apartment was obvious in every room... it felt just like home and was just what we wanted after a day on the town or in nearby areas. We especially appreciated how close our bus lines and grocery shopping was. Isabella and Francesco are perfect hosts assisting in all our needs. When in Padova, you will be happy you stayed with Isabella!!

Simply Outstanding
This apartment and Padova were a wonderful surprise. Frankly, for us this was a fill in week between a week in Venice and a week in Bologna. We picked Padova from among the places available in Veneto and Emilia Romana. But for us the week in Padova was the highlight of the trip. Of the three cities, Padova is the one we are likely to return to. For an apartment that combines the bedroom and living room, this one is very spacious. We never had the feeling of being cramped into a single room. The apartment is well furnished and beautifully redone. There is some noise from the street, although access to the street below is restricted, so there is not a lot of traffic. Never-the-less, if you are particularly concerned about noise, you may want to consider one of the other apartments that Isabella and Francesco offer in the same building (everything in this building belongs to them). We toured those apartments - Isabella is the most beautiful for two people - but the others are also very nice, quieter, and capable of handling 3 or 4 people more comfortably (having multiple bedrooms). Padova is a remarkable Italian city. We arrived on Saturday, so we were not surprised to see streets full of life. But the people just didn't quit. There were always things going on and the streets are full of life. If you like italy (or want to) you are going to love this city. The markets in Padova are wonderful. The market is open every day but Sunday. There is also a covered section with butchers, cheese and seafood - all fresh. I recommend getting fresh Bigoli (a type of pasta) in the shops and making a simple dinner for yourself. I don't think you could have a better positioned apartment in Padova if you were allowed to pick any address in the town. We were absolutely central to everything. Take a look on google earth and you'll be able to see what a great position this is. Including the fact that we were a 10 minute walk to each of the two theaters - we saw music in both. Isabella and Francesco were friendly and informative. They have a list of recommended restaurants and cafes. There is an excellent pizza with a wood fired oven just down the street. We've rented apartments in italy for 18 years, many of them very nice. We've rented in the center of Rome, Siena and Venice (as well as San Francisco and Miami Beach). This is our favorite in-town apartment and city. We highly recommend it.
