Great camp ground

Exactly as advertised. We brought our puppy and she loved all the trials available throughout the campsite. We skiied at both Sugar and Beech, both which were about 30-40 minutes away. We had a great stay!

Beautiful!!!

My partner and I came up to visit my brothers at App State for the weekend and had such a lovely time exploring more of the NC high country! The cabin was perfect and the campground had so much to offer. We’re already planning another trip!

Peaceful weekend

A place to stay in contact with nature. We like the fact that the camp have accommodation for a variety of budgets. From a camping tend to a welcoming studio apartment. Everyone was respectful and friendly.

Everything was perfect

We arrived very late the first night and the road up to the lodge was blocked by police officers because of a brush fire. We were worried we would have to find somewhere else to stay but the property owner came down and sorted everything out. Incredibly helpful folks, wonderful lodge, would definitely stay there again.

Great property and good location

Would stay again! Bedroom was spacious and it had a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was very clean. Jed was a great host and very friendly. Property is in a good location for hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway and exploring nearby Beech Mountain, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain and Boone areas. Johnson City is also just under an hour away. The campground property is nicely maintained and even has a waterfall and trails for hiking on it. We would definitely book this property again if we come back to explore more of the area.

Awesome getaway!

This property is a great place to get away and enjoy the beauty of the NC mountains. Studio was clean and stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. Beautiful primitive campground with enough to keep the kids entertained. Great location with in quick driving distance to Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Pisgah, and Grandfather Mountain.

Beautiful!

What an amazing slice of heaven they have created here. The studio was perfect! Similar to a tiny house size, but a little bigger. Very comfy recliners that were perfect after hiking the trails/white water rafting all day. Jed even created a trail around the property that enjoyed as well. Can’t wait to come back!
