We love it here!
Everything about this spot is amazing. Great location if you are okay to be out of town. Fully stocked with the perfect cabin amenities. Communication with the host was 10/10. It was really snowed in when we were there and the host even offered to shovel out the fire pit and offered us free wood to enjoy a nice fire on New Years Day!

Setting is beautiful
Gorgeous setting, lake and mountains are unbeatable. Clear water. What isn’t great is the highway is 8-10 metres from the front door, and you better like trains because there are 40- 50 a day that go by just across the water. Day and night. when there are no trains It is 5 star.

House outside of town
The house was nice and clean. There was good communication. However the house was much further outside of town and farther from the ski resort than indicated. We would not have rented the house if we had know this since our reason to be there was to ski.

Amazing lakefront property
Can’t say enough nice things about this property and the owners! This was our family’s second visit here and won’t be our last. Shawn and Tracy were very friendly and accommodating! The cabin itself is very well laid out and spacious. And you get your own beach which the owners generously have kayaks for you to use!! Love it :)

June 2021
We stayed for 10 days in June for our international arrival quarantine. We couldn't have had a better quarantine! We had lots of space to play, kayak and run around. The hot tub was great and we had lots of foosball tournaments. The only downside is the noise from the trains and the hwy traffic, but over all it was a great stay! Shawn and Tracy were really accommodating, sweet people!

We have enjoyed our experience so much owning and operating Rainbow Trout Resort that we were on the search throughout British Columbia to find the perfect larger family or group lakefront getaway. After years of searching we found it hear at Top Hat Resort. The previous owners did a wonderful job setting up this home for the ideal getaway complete with the comforts of home!
