Get away to Galveston at this cozy, beach-themed cottage with space for the entire family! Inside this charming home, you'll find nautical touches, seaside decor, and plenty of updated amenities to help you make the best beach memories during your stay. Whip up your favorite recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, dine at the kitchen table or the large dining table, and then flop into one of two plush sofas in the living area and watch your favorite shows or movies on the cable-equipped flatscreen TV. Outside, the fun continues with a furnished deck, lower patio, private gas grill for summertime cookouts, and a firepit in the yard. An outdoor shower and space saving stackable washer and dryer round out the stellar amenities.

Guests can enjoy beach access directly across Termini San Luis Pass Road, right at the end of San Jacinto Drive. Additional beaches can be found all around the area, and guests can also hike and fish at Galveston Island State Park, less than seven miles away. Less than a half-mile from your door, check out the West End Marina and Restaurants, a public boat launch and bait shop that also features a market, bar, and game room. And if you want to venture out a bit farther, Moody Gardens and all its wonderful attractions can be found 16 miles northeast.

Things to Know

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Nice house. Accommodated 4 adults and 2 small children. (Had the 5th adult shown up, it might have been a bit crowded.) AC functions well, which was fortunate because it was hot and humid. Short walk to a very nice, uncrowded beach. Nice playground nearby for the kids. Nice yard with chain link fence for dog. Well worth the price. Only issue: phone service is terrible, and internet weak. But, hey, you’re on vacation, right? Put down the phone 😎

Cozy cottage with a work out!!

The setting was fabulous. The home was clean, soavous, adequate. Though the entry to each bedroom was confusing! I didn't find huge trash cans induce home until checking out! You can accidents lock access to hall bathroom when someone nay need in ER( it happened) & not know how to gsin access! Lol but all worked out! The stsits see a WORKOUT! Plan on tracking lightly! Speaking of stairs you should repair one step it caused a mishap nnitjinv major but Coukd have been!

When we got there the door was already unlocked. There was no gas for the grill or the ignition wouldn't work for the grill. The community pool to use, you had to have a pass to swim and wouldn't let us in unless we had it. But we made the best of it

Kitchen sink to broken , ac isnt cold enough

1st when I pull up I see a golf cart , Basically it was just teasing us. 2nd the share/community pool close, that was the whole reason why choices to go in that area. 3rd to make every way wrost was kitchen sink wasnt work , It was obvious that it hasn't been working a while because after a few house I i open the dishwasher full of stinky water and the bottom of the sink was duct taped closing the pipes. 4th ac wasnt cold enough.

Location, location, location!

Close to the beach and several neighborhood amenities! The home is cozy and has a wonderful deck to sip coffee with the sunrise or have a cocktail with the sunset. Plenty to do on rainy days for the kids. Nice grilling area downstairs and a fire pit for fellowship in the evenings! Bring your fixings for s’mores! Skeeters were bad, so make sure to stock up on spray.

Great time…

Everything went well… we really had a great time. Only change would have been thicker mattresses on bottom bunks, and top bunks were to close to the ceiling.

The house itself was not bad, but the property looked run down and old on the outside. There was a huge clump of hair in the master shower, master toilet did not flush well, sugar ants in the kitchen, the bunk bed mattresses were thin and beds were super noisy. This was a great location! But, the house did not deliver.

Management company really dropped the ball

We had a easy time booking our stay online even though it was a short notice. Upon arrival, we started finding cleanliness issues: the sitting area downstairs was littered with cigarettes, small bits of glass, & debris, the table/chairs were also very dirty. We were unable to use the grill because it was filthy & the grilling utensils were left outside in a bucket next to the grill unwashed. When we entered the house & noticed that the beds were made, but the comforters were sandy, also found several dog hairs and human hairs on the sheets in both beds. The fan in the bedroom with the full bed was extra dusty so was unable to be used as the fan would scatter dust when turned on. After seeing the state of the home, our 1st call to Vacasa customer service was made. We were told someone would call us back or that someone would be sent out with new sheets and to clean, we were also told that another option would be to move us to a similar property. The 1st night the full bed broke as the wooden slats would not stay in place. The second day we also noticed more cleanliness issues: We found dirty dishes in the pantry, a styrofoam plate in the oven with old food on it & the refrigerator had a slightly fishy smell. We waited until 4pm but never received a response. We called Vacasa a 2nd time and again we’re told someone would contact us. Friday morning we were finally contacted by Christine who was a General Manager who informed us the property manager had a medical emergency so all our previous order requests were not being received. I explained we had taken the bed apart & moved the slats around, so didn’t need maintenance. She did offer us a discount & late checkout for our trouble. I was still under the impression that we were still waiting for someone to clean. When I contacted Christine back I was informed that they do not perform mid stay cleaning but she would get us clean sheets & blankets. We were also given only the lock box code and not the door code which ended in us getting locked out of the property. The same bed broke again the so half of our party ended up leaving a day early. We ended up not using the late checkout that was offered. If the rental was properly cleaned and the beds were comfortable it would have been a great time. Good things about this property are the location, fenced yard, great A/C, & the hot water doesn’t run out. It was very frustrating having to contact Vacasa customer service with no response.

Inexpensive, great location for the west end, rent a golf cart

Dog friendly! Deposit was low, and the backyard is fenced! It also has a good gate on deck. Well stocked, had all the essentials. Inexpensive. You can’t beat the rate. It doesn’t have a dishwasher or washer dryer but that’s not why you rent this house. It’s perfect for the rate. Only downside is the downstairs is not paved. It’s dirt/grass. It makes things a bit more difficult, but it is what it is for the rate. Rent a golf cart! It was nice to be able to breeze over to the beach. You can walk but with a kid and dog the golf cart made things easy.

Wonderful Weekend

Family fun

Cozy cottage is the perfect description. Nice deck area for relaxing. Took my family - don’t recommend walking to the beach, but the drive is under 2 minutes. The kids enjoyed s’mores in the evenings by the fire pit. All the bedrooms have fabulous ceiling fans with different speeds, (if you like “white noise sound”, it’s perfect on high!). For a fun beach getaway, I would definitely stay here again.

House needs work

The house was well-located, just a short drive to the beach. The house was very clean and the linens and towels were great. There is so much deferred maintenance at this house, the kitchen sink is literally coming away from the countertop. Also, there's no dishwasher, which is just so unusual, I'm sure it was in the listing I literally did not even think to look. The worst thing was the mattresses on the lower bunkbeds. they are only 4 inches thick, kind of like outdoor couch cushions? We had 8 guests I think and our thinking was that we would use the bunk beds for 4 people. We had to but they were extremely uncomfortable. And really, I just don't understand why there are full beds instead of queens? Two people sleeping in a full? Yuck. Downstairs was just a mess and was a mosquito breeding ground. There is a HUGE mud puddle on the right side of the entrance to the house from the street virtually rendering that side of the driveway so parking was really operational for only 3 cars and was pretty dicey with the very deep ditch and the cars parked on the street. If the house had a washer and dryer, we never found it. And no soap or shampoo or conditioner? Just a small thing but an oversight. The decor is very cute.

Small and nice but showers do not work

Manager knew the shower was not working properly. And did not tell anybody. Only one shower for the whole group. They only returned $25 per day which is 100 bucks. It was very inconvenient and should have returned more
