I travel to the Quad cities quite often for work and this is by far my favorite place to stay. The hosts are spectacular, and the neighborhood is very friendly and welcoming. Its become my home away from home.
I was in Davenport for work. The house was nice, and the kitchen is excellent if you like to cook your own meals. The neighborhood is quite and the hosts are neighbors are so friendly and kind. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice property in safe and convenient location for our event. We were in town for the Quad Cites Red Dress Charity run and it was a great location within walking distance of the start of the event. The property was as advertised; clean, with plenty of room for everyone.
When we first arrived, there were some dirty dishes and some other cleaning issues left by the previous guests. The previous guests just put their dirty dishes in the cupboards instead of cleaning them. The hosts made it right immediately. The fenced in yard was great for our dog and small kids. The kitchen and stove were great as I love to cook. The neighborhood is great and so close to shopping. The hosts were fantastic! I would highly recommend staying here, and I will stay here again.

A little lacking in kitchen
We were staying in Davenport for a wedding. We were a family of nine. When we reserved we tried to reach out to the owner regarding the number of people. Never heard from him/her. The day after we arrived we got a bill for an additional $300 for additional guest fee. I thought that was underhanded to not apply this charge up front, we tried to communicate this but got no response. It was upsetting, dealing with additional charges right when we get there.
Also, there were some of us walking around the house in bare or stocking feet. The floor (not carpet) was filthy! Their feet became black. The floor obviously hadn't been cleaned in awhile.
There wasnt much in the way of adequate cookware. A decent frying pan and pancake griddle would be nice. Also, there were no serving bowls. I wasn't comfortable with the cleanliness of the dishes.

Iowa or Bust
Pros: The home is located convenient to everything, and had about everything you may need. Check in was very easy. Sheets were clean, bedrooms tidy and there were plenty of towels.
Parking on the other hand was hit or miss. Driveway is open most of the time, but neighbors park very close or block entrance making it difficult to park in the driveway. Home itself needs a deep clean in kitchen. Refrigerator and freezer had visable debris in both. Floors had to be mopped when we arrived due to something sticky all over. Dishwasher had not been run and ranch dressing was all over cabinet by stove. There was also trash under bed.
Overall home is good, yard is fenced but crime in Davenport didn’t appeal to us. We were assured area was safe by owner though.

We stayed in this property as a family of 5 – four adults and one teenager. The house satisfied all our needs for our visit. The kitchen is very nice and had all the essentials. We used the gas grill outside as well. A couple things to note, but these are not deal-breakers, this was a nice property. There are no bathrooms on the main level and the furniture shown in the online listing has changed. The living room now only has one couch, there is not a couch and loveseat like shown in the pictures. This was a bit of an annoyance because with us being a family of 5 some were stuck to sit on dining room chairs instead of comfortable furniture. The downstairs living room didn’t have a full-size bed, it was fine, we all had beds to sleep in upstairs, but our son initially wanted to sleep downstairs when looking at the listing. Again, not a dealbreaker, but the TV is for streaming only. We wanted ESPN one night for a football game, but weren’t able to watch it. The property satisfied all our needs, the neighborhood was safe and quiet, no complaints.

Listing not as advertised
Listing said that property was 4 bedroom, but in actuality it is only 3. There was a futon in the basement and ohito showed another bed. Upon arrival, there was only a futon- no bed in the basement.
The Keurig did not work. The barbecue was old and rusty and dirty.
AND, the garage was listed as available but was not. In fact it was full of personal.property. The only reason this was a concern to us was the fact that we had severe hail, thunderstorm and tornad warnings and wanted a place for our car.
After a few attempts at contacting host, we were brought a mattress and frame (from across the street) and a coffee pot that had been just washed. The future son in law was so kind and brought everything over.
We had the feeling that this was a rental property that was put on VRBO when they couldnt get occupants to rent it.
We, personally moved junk around in garage, after asking for help and were told they couldnt help us.
Overall, it worked out as a good place for sleep, but dont expect any frills or luxury.
We have rented at least 15 hones in the past 4 years from VRBO and this was our first disappointment.
Pets welcome. Nice fenced backyard.
No bathroom or bed on entry levell.
Green belt runs behimd the property.
Left a Kindle behind, but it has not yet been returned.
Stayed here to host our parents for Thanksgiving dinner and it was an excellent stay. Nice open floor plan, comfortable bedrooms, and well-appointed overall. This is a great VRBO property. Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and restaurants/entertainment/groceries. Easy access in and out to interstate travel. If you're new to or familiar with the Quad-City area, this is a great home base. The only downside is that although there are three bathrooms, none are on the ground floor. If you are traveling with individuals with limited mobility, that may be an issue. Otherwise, there is a completely private lower level with a sitting and sleeping area and separate bathroom. That, in addition to a nice master bed/bath and two bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath makes this an excellent family property. Really enjoyed our time here.
We were attending the Mecum auction in Moline, Illinois. It was easy to get to the auction from this house. This house was nicely located to drive to what we needed. The fenced back yard was nice and the first floor set-up was open which made it easy for hanging out with friends. We thought there were 2 bedrooms (3 beds) in the lower level but there were only 2 beds and there were 3 bedrooms upstairs which was fine for us. The owner was very nice to work with.
Checking in and out was super easy and the living and outdoor areas were even more spacious than we were expecting. It's really centrally located for the area, and the backyard was great for travelling with a dog.
Super comfy beds. We all slept so well. Very clean. Kids had fun beating us at the board games. Perfect for our weekend with our kids and the grandparents.
The home was very comfortable and the perfect size for our group. The hostess was responsive to questions and responded quickly. It’s a residential neighborhood so you need to drive to shop and dine but it’s very convenient to many venues. I highly recommend!
Property was as described. The price was right and the owner very quickly resolved an issue we had when we arrived. Plenty of room for the family and the beds were comfortable.
Overall experience was good. The house is very spacious with modern amenities. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Many restaurants in the area. Shopping areas and grocery store close by. Definitely need a car to get around. Plenty of things to do in the Quad Cities.

Good space, TLC needed
The house had good space for our group. Downstairs area was nice.
Bathrooms and outdoor areas need some TLC.
Cute house that is nicely done inside. Very friendly neighborhood. Great back yard space with fenced in yard. Owner was quite personable and helpful. You're very close to the major attractions in Davenport as well as close to the interstate.

Hi! My husband and I are local small business owners and are both born and raised in the QCA! We own a cute little boutique/gift store in the East Village of Davenport called Wind Dancer. There you can find unique gift items, bohemian clothing, crystals, tapestries, and so much more! Thinking about moving to our fast growing community? Why they chose this property
This is the first property we purchased for our family to live in 7 years ago. We fell IN LOVE with the neighborhood and eventually remodeled the entire home. Our favorite feature was the back yard in the summer and fall. You truly feel like you're not in the middle of town and the tree's are just so pretty to watch and listen in the breeze. You're also most likely sure to see wildlife in the field in the back. We now live in the home just across the street and have been renovating it to turn into another vacation rental.
